"You can't stop the concept of evil. That's what people like you never understood. I'm controlling it. You wanna rule them by fear. But what do you do with the ones who aren't afraid? I'm doing what you idiots won't, I'm taking them out!"
Alyssa Lucifuge, to the Legal Guild "Angel Wing"

Alyssa Lucifuge (アリサ・ルキフグス, Arisa Rukifugusu) is an infamous and extremely powerful Independant Magician whom has a bounty of fifty million jewels upon her head. A renowned criminal, she has been terrorizing the false utopia of Earth Land for over thirty years. Known as the Dyed Black Fencer (墨染めの剣士, Sumizome no Kenshi) for her advanced skill in swordsmanship and her signature deep black colours, Alyssa had been the perpetrator of a series of gory murders of members of the Balam Alliance and associated Dark Guilds—though civilians, council members, and Legal Guild members are not exempt from her wrath; essentially, anyone who has even a minor connection to the Balam Alliance, will have had their lives taken if they had any information about the trio of Dark Guilds. Working as a bounty hunter and an assassin who travels from continent to continent, city to city, she is known for not working for a group more than once; as she takes jobs according to the highest bidder, which means an allied group one day could be an enemy the next. Her job as a bounty hunter means that Alyssa goes after fugitives, whether they're running from the law or just rich crime lords; it basically allows her to be a complete ass to everyone around her and still get paid.

Alyssa is not technically a Dark Magician, but rather, wrongfully accused by the Magic Council due to her willingness to kill members of their group—anyone is fair game, if they're corrupt. For this, she is seen as a vicious vigilante, somewhat of a 'dark saviour' to the common people; though they also regard her with fear due to her not necessarily going out of her way to prevent civilian casualties. With her power over one of the fundamental forces of the world, her skill in close combat both in regards to swordsmanship as well as hand-to-hand combat, and silent demeanour in the heat of battle that belies her general brash nature out of the battlefield, Alyssa is known as one of the most feared bounty hunters in Earth Land, being well-known to fugitives who have bounties on their heads. Due to her mastery of her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic which she was taught by the Lemegeton Spirit, King Belial, Alyssa is known and feared far and wide as the Rider of the Heavy Forces (重力の鉄騎, Jūryoku no Tekki). Alyssa is also a member of the Independent Guild known as Sniper Raid, being the Guild Ace and the leader of the Band of Seven, hence her titles of Sniper Lady (狙撃兵の至宝(スナイパー・レディ), Sunaipā Redi lit. Crown Jewel of the Sharpshooters) and Ace of Sniper Raid (狙撃兵襲撃(スナイパー・レイド)切り札(エース), Sunaipā Reido no Ēsu lit. Trump Card of the Assault of the Snipers).

Alyssa Lucifuge is a part of a millennia-spanning prophecy known as the "Legend of the True Saviour of the Spirits" (真霊救世主の伝承, Shin Reikyūseishu no Denshō), a myth passed down over time about events to come where the demonic spirits from a hellish dimension whom terrorized Earth Land millennia ago would eventually regain their anchor to Earth Land through a betrayer to a seemingly holy kingdom, becoming a threat so overwhelming that nobody would be able to stand against this devilish army – all except one; a human of mixed ancestry who had learnt the power of control over the fundamental forces of the world from one of said demonic spirits, whom is declared the Chosen Resolver (選解決済, Senkaiketsuzumi), destined to end this conflict and usher in a new age for mankind; as one may or may not be able to tell, Alyssa is the Chosen Resolver, something that she's well aware of but refuses to take part in the legend, considering her vehement dislike of being strung along and her general flippant attitude. Even so, for the sake of doing the right thing, she accepts her role and acknowledges her destiny as the slayer of a great evil looming above this world.

Appearance

AlyssaPro3

Alyssa's general appearance.

Alyssa is a slender, petite young woman with a slender, almost scrawny figure who seems to be in her mid-late teenage years; however, in reality, her age is incredibly difficult, if not downright impossible, to properly determine even by the sharpest of eyes, a scanning machine or power, or even by those whom have known her from the very beginning, something not helped by the fact that she takes upon the form of a fifteen year old child most of the time – it's said that her body's aging process has been stilted by excessive usage of her Gravitime spell, which causes a time dilation effect, as described by the theory of relativity that distorts time to such an extent that it is approximately five times slower than that of what's normally observed. Alyssa's hair texture is black than the night sky, darker than the pulsating evil aura of Darkness Magic and associated powers and comparable to that of the black bat flower, a species of flowering plant that's native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia – however, instead of being an ill omen, her hair isn't really an indicator of what kind of person she is. Even Alyssa doing something as simple as going for a stroll produces a similar effect as black flower petals scattering from trees and into the winds as her short, shoulder-length rapunzel-esque hair which would be more suited to that of a supermodel shakes ever-so-slightly with every step that she takes. Her pitch-black hair that appears to be nothing but an unruly mop is cut like it's a bother and just left without any tending to, though its most notable feature is how her bangs are parted in the middle to slightly expose her forehead, as two long clumps trail downwards to frame her youthful face. There is a trio of bundles of dark hair exposed in the very middle of her forehead, with the longest extending down to reach her nose. Lastly, she has a slim forelock of hair which extends upwards at the very top of her head, as it curls backwards slightly. Alyssa's eyes are a dyed black in texture, and her most unique feature are her pointed ears, the sign of being a half-elf. Given her black hair and mistakable eastern features, despite her vaguely western-sounding name, it can be speculated that Alyssa -and her hometown of Midgar- was originally from Joya, Fiore's analogue to Japan and China.

In terms of her non-combat attire, Alyssa dresses rather extravagantly, but at the same time, she is also fairly lightly-clothed; Alyssa is mainly clad in darker colours, especially the numerous shades of black – this, when combined with her fair skin and stark-white hair, gives the impression of Alyssa herself being the embodiment of yin and yang as theorized in Taoism, mixing light and dark into the appearance of a slender girl who possesses an inhuman beauty about her. Wearing a black sailor outfit that makes her appear as if she wouldn't be out of place acting as a middle school student, her general attire bears a similarity to various military styled naval uniforms and consists of a blouse attached with a sailor-style collar and a pleated skirt – Alyssa's collar has white trim but is predominantly black; same applies to her blouse, and the former is accentuated by her red scarf. The blouse possesses short sleeves that expose her arms that are clad in crimson fingerless gauntlets, and the end terminates prematurely, exposing a small portion of her smooth midriff. The black pleated skirt has numerous adornments, such as a beige belt holding it up that possesses a silver buckle, attached to the belt is a light red side skirt cover, serving the purpose of extra armour as well as numerous pouches to hold her money and the like. In terms of her lower body, Alyssa wears long, black stockings that obscure her slender peachy-white legs and black laced shoes that seem to be nikes, because as everyone knows, real ninjas wear nikes.

Personality and Traits

Being born from a bloody situation and forced into a life of violence to simply survive on the streets, Alyssa had hardly any time to live like a normal child – before the death of her biological parents during the Tenrou Disaster, she seemed to be perfectly ordinary, if a bit quiet compared to other children around her age, willing to help others with their problems even if it was disadvantageous to her. However, the Tenrou Disaster which saw the complete annihilation of her rural village, her family, and by extension, any sense of normalcy that Alyssa Lucifuge previously possessed. During her time on the desolate streets of Bosco where she struggled to survive, her innocence was torn away from her as the world smacked her down over and over until nothing was left but a rage-filled shell of her former self. Even then, during those years, while she experienced moments of happiness and joy, her true passion was warped into desiring the fight, mostly to gain favour and later to satisfy her own fighting abilities. After successfully killing the first person she would in a list of thousands, Alyssa tempered herself to become stronger and know how to hold her sword, eventually building a strong and very personal relationship with the blade she wields; she was happy only when wielding her sword and cutting down people by the dozen.

Something developed during her time as an enfant terrible on the streets whom slew others for a living is that Alyssa has somewhat of a lust for blood, getting an intense bestial satisfaction off of killing other people almost to the degree that she could be considered somewhat psychotic. Despite her adorable-enough face that causes her to give off the appearance of being perfectly harmless, she's prone to making some rather unsettling facial expressions, occasionally grinning in such a manner that makes her appear to be positively demonic – given the spirit category of the one whom taught Alyssa her form of Spirit Slayer Magic and what happens when a wielder of the magic overuses it, it's uncertain whether this is a side-effect of her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic or not. She's always open for a challenge and does not mind literally crushing somebody's body and internal organs to employ her battle techniques; indeed, because of her obsession with battle, Alyssa is overtly serious in combat and seeks to fight the strongest warriors she can find, looking down on those weaker than her. That being said, Alyssa has no morals on how she kills people and will easily slaughter anyone without giving it a second thought. She treats her opponents like targets that deserve to die and while some she'll straight-out kill, others she won't mind calling out for the terrible things they do and wants them to feel pain, getting a sick satisfaction off of some of it.

As Alyssa has done nothing but train, fight, and kill for a majority of her life starting from when she was in the late single digits while wandering, she's relatively serious-minded when it comes to doing what has to be done, but also possesses the social skills of a child as a result, leading to gaffes such as not understanding that not everyone is capable of fighting and randomly stripping herself in front of others when the heat becomes too much to bear. Additionally, in social interactions, Alyssa will ignore most people and treat them like dirt; crushing feelings as she talks about morbid truths and despairs to make others feel like the world is hell and there's no happiness to it, basically a "life is not fair, get over it" attitude which was forged during her harsh childhood after any personal relationships she had were cruelly yanked out of her small hands – despite her constant demands of respect from everyone, she's, well, pretty damn rude when addressing others as she believes in her natural superiority due to the sole fact that she managed to survive that hellish upbringing at Bosco and "improved" herself so to speak. Being extremely strong-willed and determined to prove her strength to the point that she is willing to put herself in danger to do so, Alyssa can perhaps be best described as "stubborn beyond belief" with the attitude of a bull tracking down a matador with the intent of impaling the poor bastard on his big ol' horns.

Alyssa's sword is also tied to her instinct for survival; her "struggler" attitude towards most things, however, has a rebound in which Alyssa realizes the true value of what she had left behind after she has lost it. All this combined serves to fuel Alyssa's large disregard of and hatred towards the concept of fate. She displays a similar, though more mellow, disregard of higher beings such as dragons and deities, simply shrugging it off as a dark joke compared to her heated response to fate. Because of this, Alyssa has a vehement dislike of the "Legend of the True Saviour of the Spirits" due to her role in the prophecy, abhorring the fact that she was destined to end the cycle of hatred between humanity and the Lemegeton Spirits by slaying the Princess of the Diabolus Dimension – while she does want to, for a lack of a better term, murder the shit out of the heir to the throne of the Lemegeton Spirits after learning that she set up the Tenrou Disaster that led to the loss of her family and subsequently her hellish early years, she wants to perform the deed on her own terms instead of it being an action guided by fate, and as such, tends to lose her cool when she believes she's being strung along like some kind of cosmic chess piece. Additionally, Alyssa has a very tactical personality, when she is not enraged she will study her opponent thoroughly if given the opportunity. She has become a brilliant fighter because of this and on-top of her normal survival instincts, this advantage of her brain allows her to survive some of the most difficult battles. She is prone to using decoys and tricks to defeat her larger enemies, on-top of evasive maneuvers and hiding while looking for a weak spot.

In addition, Alyssa believes in power being a concept that rules over all morality, or even decency; she believes firmly in the doctrine of "the survival of the fittest" in that the weak are nothing but prey for the strong. Though she hates cruelty and those who abuse their power, Alyssa also believes that compassion holds one back from obtaining the strength necessary to protect oneself; essentially dooming oneself no matter what stance a person takes and creating a never ending cycle of wrath and violence that's eternally perpetuated by inaction. Hypocritically, Alyssa is also fairly cruel—but not overtly so. Despite her brutal philosophy, she's very kind (in her own way) and caring to her partners. She'll certainly smack them around if they screw up badly, but she doesn't kill them, never cripples them, always heals them if she can, and keeps it fairly light compared to her enemies. In fact, it's actually pretty rare for her to mistreat any of her guild-mates at all, and she tends to transfer money gained from completing a job intended for her to anyone she works with instead, perhaps out of kindness, but also because Alyssa generally doesn't need money to get around. Even so, despite all of her negative traits and her rude personality, Alyssa is known to be more than willing to stand up for what's right in spite of her own annoyance towards the fact and do what nobody else is able to – for that reason along with her powers, she was chosen to be the Chosen Resolver of the prophecy.

History

Very little is known about Alyssa's past, however, as a child, she lived in the small rural village of Midgar (ミッドガル, Middogaru) with her mother and father, spending her days peacefully tilling the soil of the cabbage fields. She was as happy as any ordinary child, playing with her friends every day. However, all of this changed during the initiation of the Tenrou Disaster; when the Enderdragon was awakened, the village of Midgar was obliterated by Arch Howl, leaving the village as naught but bones, blood, and ash in its wake. However, Alyssa herself was spared from the horror—at the time, she was out of town, gathering water at the well. She noticed the fire rising from the village—and running back, she found the half-destroyed corpse of her father, who gave her a special katana, the family's heirloom, the God-Mower tier sword referred to as Archenemy.

Alyssa was later picked up by soldiers of Bosco, whom took her back to their city and then "dumped and left me [Alyssa]". After that, not much happened between the present day and that moment; she only has memories of the alleyways shrouded in mist and stench. The areas where she slept were not places of rest, but rather nests covered in waste and feces where filthy rats ran about. She was in constant danger of being attacked at night while she slept, and upon waking up on the morning, someone may have easily died during the night. She constantly dealt with pitch black smog so bad that she often couldn't breathe properly or even open her eyes. At some point after the Tenrou Disaster, she established a link with the Lemegeton Spirit King Belial, a gravity elemental spirit whom taught her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic.

She eventually reached the point where her mind could no longer deal with the conditions. Disgusted with the fact that despite saving her and other people, the city of Bosco left them to their own devices and didn't care about them personally, only about looking good, she took the family's heirloom, and began to utilize the blade in order to slay authority figures—at that point, she discovered her Darkness Magic subspecies, Necroedge—which allowed her to revive the dead, albeit in an empty shell state with reduced power. Even so, it allowed her to control Bosco from the shadows, with the exception of the Prime Minister. When sneaking in to assassinate the Prime Minister, Alyssa heard him conversing with his secretary about the Balam Alliance, believing that they were behind the destruction of Midgar—driving her to become her current self.

Alyssa unsheathing Archenemy.

Archenemy (不倶戴天(アークエネミー), Ākuenemī lit. One cannot allow oneself to live with someone under the canopy of heaven; shorter "Archenemy"): Archenemy is the name of Alyssa Lucifuge's personal katana; as the name indicates, Archenemy is an existence similar to that of the exceptionally powerful katana referred to simply as "Archenemy" (不倶戴天, Fugutaiten) owned by the strongest member of Mermaid Heel known as Kagura Mikazuchi; however, Alyssa's katana is described as being the stone from which the greatest blades of all were carved from, so perhaps Kagura's katana is the imitation as Alyssa's version is said to be one of the very first of its kind. Archenemy takes the form of a traditional nodachi, a Japanese longsword. Its hilt is wrapped in a dark wrapping, outlining a series of rhombs on it, ends in a light pommel and has a similarly light, mildly prominent fuchi, a metal disk separating the hilt from the handguard. The handguard itself takes the form of a tsuba, a flat plate perpendicular to the hilt, which has its two faces covered in intricate decorations, and possesses a mildly rounded, elongated shape with four points curving inwards, generating soft nooks, which make the tsuba itself vaguely reminiscent of a stylized four-leaf clover. The weapon comes with a matching saya, a lacquered scabbard which is dark in colour, ending in a light chape, and has a decorative rope tied around its middle part in a ribbon, with two edges left hanging – thus, Alyssa's Archenemy is virtually identical to Kagura's, and indeed, it could be said that Kagura's version is a pale faker, desperately yearning for the power of the original. The Archenemy is known as a God Mower (神薙, Kannagi); the highest class of sword, magical or otherwise, around. Indeed, if unsheathed, these "God Mowers" could cause a cataclysm of unimaginable proportions- the skies, the earth, and the sea are all sliced in twain before the might of a God Mower-class sword as they display the ability to cut through anything; Alyssa can casually call upon its full power, unlike Kagura, whom utilizes the Style of the Undrawn Longsword to keep the power of her weaker, fake version of Archenemy in check – the skies, the earth, and the sea are all sliced in twain before the might of a God Mower-class sword as the sword displays the ability to cut through anything, including concepts such as time and space; Alyssa can casually call upon its full power.

The Archenemy is composed of a special alloy that has been lost to the sands of time; this alloy is downright mystical, as it contains the properties of both exceptional sharpness and durability without sacrificing light-weight as a drawback, enabling Alyssa to swing her sword around with relative ease. Since as a God Mower-class sword, the Archenemy is capable of cleaving through anything no matter its composition as long as Alyssa points the tip of the blade at it, it can cut apart an armour forged from Orichalcum in several quick strokes, and even slice a laser-like Light Magic spell into numerous other beams before reflecting them in various different directions. Of course, the Archenemy is also capable of being imbued with magic for a variety of effects, including allowing Alyssa to inflict greater damage or deal elemental damage to enemies. The Archenemy does not rely on the kinetic energy of a high-speed swing to cut through its targets. The blade itself can endure even the strongest of attacks, making it quite effective in blocking and deflecting incoming attacks. It can withstand getting crushed by force. Archenemy is able to cleave through diamond and even magic blasts effortlessly; and on one occasion, Alyssa was capable of using the cold steel of the weapon to absorb an energy blast before returning it to sender via another swing of the weapon. Like the imitation, Alyssa's Archenemy is referred to as "The Blade of Resentment" (怨刀 Ontō), in no small part due to the anti-magic coating applied on the blade – this coating changes the sword's eternano band based on the direction of the blades, allowing them to cut through magic. The coating can also allow the sword's eternano band to match the ambient eternano within the environment, granting Alyssa the ability to cut through eternano-based barriers and anything that could be categorized as "supernatural". Thanks to this, Archenemy can be used to block magical attacks and due to the particle alteration coating applied on the blades, Alyssa can easily cut through particle-based attacks and barriers; in addition to being used as a throwing weapon. Additionally, because of this property, the blade of the Archenemy is also capable of nearly nullifying the effects of Healing Magic, leaving grievous injuries that would last for several months if not forever, meaning that against an enemy whom is able to regenerate with a superhuman swiftness, the weapon is perhaps the only thing that can kill them even if they pull themselves together from the atomic level.

Swordsmanship
AlyssaBattleStance

Alyssa in Adult Mode, ready for battle.

Grandmaster Swordsmanship Specialist: Alyssa is one of the most skilled sword wielders around; while it has been derogatorily stated by people not-too-fond of her that it is because of her extraordinarily powerful sword, Archenemy, indeed, the truth is quite the opposite. Alyssa is a master of armed combat, which, as the name itself suggests, revolves around the usage of weapons, which users employ against their opponents at close range. However, more specifically, Alyssa is perhaps one of the greatest users of bladed combat around; being a prodigy in the art of Swordsmanship (剣術, Kenjutsu), a discipline which is a martial art that focuses on the use of a sword; personally, Alyssa took to the art of kenjutsu (剣術, Sword Arts), the umbrella term for all schools of Japanese swordsmanship like a fish takes to water, displaying a startling amount of proficiency with her blades to the point that her sword skills could be said to be capable of being mistaken for Sword Magic, the arcane power of wielding a sword. Many swordsmen are found throughout the Kingdom of Fiore, each possessing various levels of mastery. Most forms of swordplay, similar to most forms of unarmed combat, aren't properly classified as specific fighting styles. Alyssa is known to be consistently competent in the art of swordsmanship, being one of the finest assassins that effectively dominated Bosco through fear from the shadows, searching and hunting for nothing less than vengeance for their deplorable treatment of the Tenrou Disaster's survivors – her swordsmanship was hewn from the stone called "revenge" and dyed black with fury. Indeed, Alyssa is consistently competent in the art of swordsmanship, being one of the finest sword masters in history, as she constantly displays nothing but the utmost of proficiency with a blade, said to have a near-mastery of swordsmanship that does her title of the Dyed Black Fencer justice, as her reputation echoes throughout every corner of the land, her skills having stepped into the realm of unbelievable presentations and surpassed the prowess of those whom worked alongside her in her various jobs. As she knows the ins and outs of her Archenemy, this makes her personal sword a "supreme weapon" which is the only armament that brings out her full potential, and befitting it being the only weapon she has ever wielded, Alyssa Lucifuge constantly makes liberal usage of her Archenemy in the heat of combat, showing absolute zero signs of mercy towards those that she fights, capable of adapting to almost any situation at hand. Alyssa is known to fight in a manner which seems as if she is making things up as she goes in order to overwhelm the opposition through a combination of strength and unpredictability, reflecting and parrying blows from all sorts of opponents, many of them stronger and faster than herself with ease while also pushing towards them and going on the offensive.

Alyssa Lucifuge is noted to be such an incredible bladed-fighter that it is well-documented that she has hundreds of separate styles of bladed combat such as Battōjutsu, Kendo, Fencing of the refined French school, Iaidō, and last but not least, Fu Style Bāguàzhǎng and incorporated these maneuvers and motions into her own form of swordsmanship alongside the extremely generic swordfighting style that most users of Sword Magic harness that she more often than not utilizes when she isn't giving a battle her all – because of this, she is sometimes referred to as Alyssa of the Hundred Faces (百面のアリサ, Hyakumen no Arisa), as she has mastered hundreds upon hundreds of swordfighting styles along with their corresponding skills and actions – her intelligence and keen eyes allowing her to copy even magic-bolstered swordsmanship styles such as the Style of the Undrawn Longsword and even newly forged skills, all through a simple glance no matter its briefness; everything under the gaze of her black pupils is discerned and assimilated, yet another asset added to her already uncountable collection of sword-based maneuvers. She has shown that when using any of her swordsmanship styles, she is capable of switching from one fighting style to another as naturally as breathing without any time needed to re-calibrate her swordsmanship, flawlessly transitioning from an offensive battle method to a more defensive style and then changing to focus on speed near-instantly and with such smooth movements that to onlookers, it more often than not appears as if Alyssa has not changed her stance in the slightest, utterly confusing them as they're left to keep guessing which fighting style Alyssa has "activated" at the moment while she darts around them like a gentle breeze which suddenly intensifies to become a searing gale and then a gust that pushes the opponent back; all this, in the blink of an eye. The mastery that she displays over the art of wielded a bladed weapon to slay ones' opponents has transcended the mortal and supernatural planes of existence, effectively making what could only be phantasmal for anyone else take upon a corporal form, with her bladework only limited by her imagination, her movements stirring the very fabric of time and space as fantasy becomes reality.

AlyssaAssassin

Alyssa cutting down a gang of bandits.

The black steel of her blade howls like a savage beast as Alyssa swings the Archenemy around with wild abandon, cleaving the air apart as every thrust launched with the demonic sword releases an output akin to cannon fire, unleashing roaring gusts yet her bladework could still be considered to possess movements akin to the wind in terms of speed and lightness in conjunction to the power of tidal waves crashing down upon the unprotected earth - but more than that, the sheer destructive force of her attacks are the result of her immense physical strength and transcendent movements; she swings her weapon at speeds invisible to the naked eye while displaying only the smallest of movements, keeping her own senses observant of her enemy so that she could take advantage of any mistake that they make – the combination of these factors makes for an incredibly deadly and chaotic fighting style. Alyssa places heavy focus on offense, utilizing bold, direct motions while unleashing a flurry of blade-work which give off the impression that they are unconnected and unpolished- no 'style' at all - though one of the greatest strengths of Alyssa's fighting style is its unpredictability, displaying unparalleled swinging speed and an overwhelming power as her attacks give off the visage that she is wielding countless blades at once - moving blindingly swiftly to the point that her attacks flow into each other the perfect precision, moving too fast to properly see and thus creating a rapid hurricane of winds that are referred to as 'sword strikes', a near invisible weave of steel blurs around, making it appear that her entire small body has transmogrified into a whirring maelstrom of flickering stygian steel in the heat of combat. It is said that Alyssa's swordsmanship is akin to that of a lightning strike descending from the heavens and crashing down upon not only the world but also her enemies, dealing relatively moderate amounts damage no matter any precautions taken- it is an incredible method of utilizing the power of swordsmanship which can do naught but utterly annihilate the enemy, causing untold amounts of destruction with Archenemy for every swing, effortlessly knocking enemies away who would normally be able to evade or block.

Incorporating the theories of the Yagyū Shinkage-ryū and its ancestor, the Shinkage-ryū, both of which were a kenjutsu school founded by Yagyū Sekihusai Muneyoshi and his teacher Kamiizumi Ise-no-kami Fujiwara-no-Nobutsuna respectively into her swordsmanship, Alyssa's swordfighting style is rather unrestrained in its motions and maneuvers, with her mastery over the blade and her ingenuity working in tandem in order to take account the opponent's strengths, weaknesses, and their own weaponry, adapting to suit the situation – this is the complete opposite to other ways of combat, which more often than not teach the students to assert their dominance while disregarding the opponent. Alyssa commonly uses her eagle-like eyesight in order to analyze the geography of the terrain, the direction that the wind is blowing, and the time of day as well as many other parameters in order to gain any manner of advantage over her opponent, using her blade not only to defend her position, but also adapt in facing various different individuals with varying scales of power, in a similar manner to how a captain must consider the winds and change sails in order to travel in the best direction to reach their objective. In that way, Alyssa's swordsmanship can be considered similar to a hunting hawk, which must constantly reconsider the best trajectory in which to strike effectively, anticipating everything in order to be able to assess and definitively act. As she moves with the mind as to move with the body, if her Archenemy blade does not bring the movements of her adversary to a screeching halt, then Alyssa adapts to suit the rhythm of her adversary, thus getting into their mind as to discover their weaknesses and thus exploit them to Alyssa's advantage. As a master of swordsmanship as stated many times above, Alyssa feels no need to use anything other than her blade in the heat of battle, relying on nothing but her furious brandishing of the Archenemy to annihilates anyone that she deems to be a suitable foe – even her so-called skills in hand-to-hand combat are more or less a byproduct of her swordsmanship, with her hands becoming a "sword with no proper form" than true unarmed fighting, albeit this combat method still retains her trademark flexibility and utility.

In a setting where most characters have all sorts of flashy powers, Alyssa is simply focused on nothing extravagant- but rather, it's a style that does the job of assisting her in accomplishing not only assassination tasks, but almost any other feat as well. To her naïve opponents, Alyssa's bladework reveals the "truth" of the blade, in Alyssa's words, "Even if you're skilled, even if you've trained a lot, even if you're a prodigy, none of that will matter once I make contact with you." What she means to say is, the moment that a blade touches the body of the enemy, nothing matters; the pain will sear through, and it will reveal the "truth" of battle—a brutal struggle in which the only goal is to slaughter one's enemy, nothing more, nothing less. There's no point in going all-out on an enemy and making a show of it- there's no point in developing new sword attacks which aren't geared towards killing the opponent quicker. Any form of combat that doesn't allow the user to achieve victory swiftly is useless- it's just airheaded people attempting to live out their fantasies of being 'cool' like they are in their dreams. Indeed, the truth of combat is to kill hard and fast- that is the sole goal of her swordsmanship; which is a regression of the 'evolution' of combat ever since the discovery and development of advanced magic and better weaponry- the style knocks everything that has been established in this current day and age, resetting everything to square one. Thus, her bladework could not be considered a fighting style so much as an 'easier way to kill the enemy'; as it uses everything that could be considered a bladed, lethal weapon in Alyssa's possession or in the immediate vicinity in order to achieve its goal, which, as mentioned several times before, is simply; kill. Alyssa's speed, which is often regarded as akin to a divine wind that blows throughout Earth Land, is what makes her bladework so effective; with her feet slamming into the earth, stones scatter in all directions as she darts forward- the speed that she travels at would reveal that pieces of her ghostly pale skin are being torn off due to the sheer velocity of her movements, the hot winds scourging her deathly white flesh and bone while in motion.

Her consistent stance is one that under any other circumstances, even amateur sword wielders would admonish her for – not bothering to grasp the black-steeled Archenemy blade in a particular position, Alyssa Lucifuge simply stands in one place in a solitary manner, giving off the impression that she doesn't give a damn about the battle in process right now; this gives off a sense of openness, but the exact moment that her adversaries try anything, whether it's a movement of an attack of any kind, as long as it's aimed at Alyssa herself, any opening that she seems to allow exposed instantly closes, leaving the opponent dumbfounded on how to proceed before Alyssa more often than not delivers a killing blow from which she can unleash from any position or angle imaginable – this incredible trait, when harnessed in conjunction with the adaptation properties of Yagyū Shinkage-ryū which she integrated into her fighting style, results in her possessing no blind spots as she can annihilate her enemies even when under the effect of detrimental conditions such as terrain, a damaged limb, loss of senses, and the like, meaning that she's almost never at an actual disadvantage. From one simple swing of the Archenemy thousands upon thousands of utterly complex consecutive steel flashes emerge, bombarding the opponent with impunity, conveying an uncountable quantity of offensive and defensive combinations and motions that are suddenly brought into Earth Land, devastating her adversaries without any real effort exerted on her part. Despite the openness of her stance, it shouldn't be discounted that Alyssa is quite adept at blocking while her attacking power is simply overwhelming—her swings crack the area around her as she swings down, pulverizing the surroundings with enough power to shatter the toughest of magical barriers such as Defenser and Barrier Magic; the force of which is channeled into her sword strike, increasing the damage even more. Due to her mastery over the art of wielding a sword, Alyssa easily able to push anyone who is foolish enough to challenge her in any sort of battle to the very brink of their capabilities, and when exerting her full power, she has to be wary of how much skill and strength she reveals to the world – otherwise, she'll simply tear continents asunder through her godlike bladework.

Combination Spell: Venomfang being used by Alyssa in Adult Mode to slay an opponent instantly.

Combination Spell: Venomfang (二魔法の合・毒牙斬鉄剣(コンビネーション・スペル・ヴェノムファング), Konbinēshon Superu: Venomufangu lit. Fusion between Two Magics: Poisonous Fanged Iron-Cutting Sword): The Combination Spell known as Venomfang, like all Combination Spells, is a fusion of two coexisting magics- specifically case, Poison Magic and Sword Magic; however, in this case, Alyssa simply takes a vial of corrosive poison known as Predator Venom that she managed to synthesize from a Poison Dragon's acidic poisonous breath some time ago and coat it over her blade instead of invoking a Combination Spell. It is referred to as the "Devouring Poison" (貪の毒, Musabo no Doku) and the One-Strike Manslayer (一撃の人殺し, Ichigeki no Hitogoroshi); a spell that is feared by everyone is aware of its existence and power- it is said to be a result not only of the fusion between Poison Magic and Sword Magic, but also the Black Arts, creating a foul and evil sword strike without any proper equal. Morgana Blackmore, the infamous Black-Winged Enforcer of the Vulture Empire was the first one to create the spell, and later taught it to Alyssa Lucifuge; making it one of the latter's most powerful spells as well as her sword attacks. In any case, when initiating Venomfang, the user gathers and condenses stray eternano upon their blade, before using their magical energy and an element of poison in order to coat their weapon with any kind of poison. The poison emitted by the blade in this state takes the form of various versions which all effectively weaken or kill an enemy, not limited to but including numbing agents, sleep and paralysis and venom. It is because of this poisonous attribute that Venomfang gets its nickname of "One Strike Manslayer"- the moment that the sword comes into contact with the user's target and pierces the skin all hell breaks loose as Venomfang's poison flows into the victim, which immediately takes effect upon touch; the poison begins to fulfill its function of destroying the enemy's cells at a rapid rate while acting on the enemy's nervous system, paralyzing the enemy and causing them pain beyond one's wildest imagination; the poison released from Venomfang possesses such a toxicity that it even affects objects that are inorganic, the poison spreading like illegal immigrants leaping across the border; the poison is stated to be corrosive enough that it causes massive amounts of decay to anything that it touches at a rapid pace- its effects are first visible in a progressive weakening of the victim's body, and the poison produced by Venomfang is so corrosive to the point that it is capable of burning through an opponent's clothing while it destroys the cells in their body as swift at lightning; corroding and dissolving damn near everything, including all forms of metals and even the air- and of course, it can turn the opponent to naught but dust in the wind as it kills the enemy in the span of a few seconds. However, for all its might, Venomfang has quite a few weaknesses- for one, while it can phase through armour, the air, structures, and tools like they're made of papermache, the "one cut kill" aspect of the spell is damn near useless against things such as robots and zombies, as they have no vitals to aim at- so Venomfang would be reduced to a glowing purple sword.
  • AlyssaCounter

    Alyssa preparing to launch Counter.

Counter (魔力集束迎撃(カウンター), Kauntā lit. Magical Energy Collection Counterattack): Counter is a Sword Magic spell that enables the user to counterattack to deliver damage to the attacker when the user is hit. Counter is one of the more simple Sword Magic spells in Alyssa's arsenal; indeed, Counter is not actually related to Alyssa's version of swordsmanship but rather, it is a Sword Magic spell that anyone and their mother can learn without time and effort; and even so, due to her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic and Alyssa's mastery over the arcane, her iteration of Counter cannot really be considered a Sword Magic spell in the first place. When performing Counter, the user focuses a large amount of magical energy into their sword, holding their weapon in front of them in a wide manner in a reverse grip as if they are striking a rather subtle pose while they anticipate the attack about to be unleashed by their opponent- with their sword in this position, it begins to gather and condense eternano onto the cold steel in order to augment its own protective capabilities drastically. By tensing up and focusing, the user's magical energy shrouds them as a "protective casing" of sorts, causing the user to gain an immunity to flinching and taking less knockback from a powerful strike; meaning that the user can resist a single hit before all sorts of attacks can affect them as normal, thus interrupting this spell's set-up period. In any case, the moment that the enemy's attack impacts upon what would normally be assumed to be the user's body, the stillness of the user's sword neutralizes both the supernatural and kinetic energy released by the enemy's attack, enabling the user to effortlessly resist attacks that would more often than not be absolutely devastating, as their magic-shrouded blade completely negates the effects and blow-back of an incoming attack. After about one second or when the opponent foolishly strikes, any attack other than a grab which the user utilizing Counter is struck by will turn the user invincible by further hardening the protective casing of magical energy around their body for the duration of her retaliating strike, leaving the enemy open for a follow-up attack. If the attack is a projectile, it will simply be deflected behind the user and upwards at about a thirty degree angle. It's worth noting explosive projectiles can still explode and will still do damage if they are struck when the invincibility ceases. Not only does Counter allow the user to immediately counterattack, it returns the original the technique back along its original course. As this redirection occurs both suddenly and unexpectedly, the reflected attack can prove difficult for opponents to evade. The reflection is so swift that it appears as if the user had launched the attack, confounding many an opponent. In any case, the user's counterattack by itself causes no wounds to appear, but simply reverses the pain associated with the wound that the attack would cause to the user onto the opponent. Alyssa's version of Counter has been refined continuously and bolstered by her personal form of Spirit Slayer Magic in order to produce an "evolution" of sorts that exceeds all bog-standard variants of the spell and all "defense > offense" type spells. Focusing gravitational energies generated by her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic into her blade, Alyssa takes upon the stance of bending her knees ever-so-slightly while holding her right hand to cover her face with her fingers bent and her sword before her in a reverse grip, the moment that Alyssa's opponent attempts to strike her, she releases the gravity in the form of a pulse that immobilizes the foe through gravitational pressure as she unleashes an inhumanly powerful reverse-grip slash in a crossing motion, accelerating gravitational forces to send her enemy careening through the skies.
Unarmed

Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Typically, due to Alyssa being one of the best swordswomen in Earth Land and the multiple backup methods that she has in store to prevent anyone from separating her from her Archenemy blade or even generating a new sword from energy using Darkness-Make, hand-to-hand combat isn't much of a concern as she remains supremely confident in her fighting style no matter what she goes up against, displaying unparalleled swordsmanship which can split a large opponent into fifty portions in a split second. But even so, given how much she plans ahead in the furious heat of combat, despite all of her focus upon the art of swordsmanship, there is absolutely nothing even indicating that Alyssa is not competent in a straight-up brawl; in fact, she is as deadly when utilizing hand-to-hand combat as she is when utilizing her weaponry. As a master of martial arts, which are codified systems and traditions of combat practices, which are practiced for a variety of reasons: as self-defense, military and law enforcement applications; as competition, physical fitness, mental and spiritual development; as well as entertainment and the preservation of a nation's intangible cultural heritage, Alyssa is a peculiar sort in that she doesn't really have a defined fighting style, nothing like boxing, which is a predominantly western style of hand-to-hand fighting, and wushu, which originated in the Eastern regions of the world; no, Lisette Aznable discards any categorization of such in order to produce something that's completely unique to herself - thus, she could technically be considered a user of Mixed Martial Arts (総合格闘技, Sōgōkakutōgi), also referred to as hybrid martial arts, which involve the integration of techniques and theories from various other forms of martial arts around the world to create a fighting style best suited to its individual wielder; this fighting style does emphasize its origins as a mish-mash of styles, whereas numerous other martial arts simply borrow and adapt from other styles, they cannot really be considered true hybrids. While one wouldn't guess it just by looking at her and her mastery of swordsmanship, with many figuring that somebody can't be capable of that much skill in both armed and unarmed combat, Alyssa is proficient in many traditional forms of martial arts, sifting through all of these potent martial arts styles, Alyssa learned a majority of them over a ten year period, and while it isn't known about her exact ranking in most of these martial arts, the fact that she was even capable of doing such a thing is an impressive feat in itself. Indeed, in line with her nature and potent abilities, Alyssa has adopted a fighting style where she fights her opponents using powerful blows, to which all of her attacks have a significant amount of force behind them. Lashing out at her opponent with countless flurries of strikes of all kinds, such as different types of punches and kicks, headbutts, elbows, knees, and palm strikes.

In a battle, while Alyssa normally uses martial arts alongside her sword in the form of one-handed slashes, parries, and thrusts accompanied by powerful unarmed strikes to disorient her opponent or uses kicks to keep some distance between herself and her adversary as to allow her to think of how to attack next or prepare a high-powered spell, even when she decides not to use her Archenemy blade, Alyssa has proven herself an exceptionally deadly foe. As her hand-to-hand combat skill more often than not is activated in battle alongside her swordsmanship, Alyssa fights primarily with kicks, focusing on a form of kickboxing, a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from Karate, Muay Thai, and Western boxing, and as such, Alyssa is rarely seen using her arms or fists when fighting as she obviously uses them to grasp her sword. When in battle, she primarily fights her opponents by using a large number of skillful and specialized kicks to strike blows. Using her agility in line with her training, Alyssa can perform a wide and impressive array of maneuvers in battle such as high kicks, side-kicks, spinning kicks, roundhouse kicks and many more, striking her opponents with deadly precision and efficiency, and can even send her whole body spinning through the air with her feet first, turning herself into an all-piercing spear. Her fighting style frees the use of her hands and prevents her from being damaged during a battle, something that is disastrous to her. As a result; Alyssa tends to drop into certain stances in which her upper-body portions are most relaxed, such as placing her hands inside their pockets or crossing her arms together across her chest, and only puts them into action whenever the event requires her to do certain maneuvers such as handstands, which aren't prohibited; when coupled with super acrobatic skills, her fighting style allows Alyssa to effectively weave continuous and powerful attacks upon adversaries She can even deflect and parry magical blasts with her kicks, at both close range and long range. Alyssa can also complement her fighting style with her flight abilities bestowed upon her by her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, allowing her to take her fighting techniques to airborne opponents and allowing her to launch aerial kicks and strikes at her opponents, typically launched as diving kicks.

Physical Prowess

Immense Strength: Despite normally taking the form of a fifteen-year-old girl and being as thin as a stick, and in stark contrast with the fact that she's, well, a scrawny-looking kid, Alyssa possesses positively enormous amounts of physical strength, at least at a level higher than her would realistically have; the actual reason why she seems so strong is unknown—however, what is known is that it certainly amplifies her threat level to the point that she could kill an Etherious of the all-new Nine Demon Gates in five strikes, as a contrast to others of her position, whom would fall quite easily to the hands of the demonic abomination; however, something to note is that effectively, Alyssa possesses the physical constitution of a fragile teenager, but the sheer momentum that she moves about at is what forms the bulk of her strength. Indeed, her strength is to the point that she is able to casually lift gigantic scaffolding after it has fallen upon the ground with a single hand in her human form, displaying absolutely zero signs of straining herself by doing so. The fact that she is able to break off a steel pillar deeply rooted into the ground and swing it around as if it were naught but a twig that had been snapped off of a tree has amplified this further - not only this, she is capable of effortlessly snapping any object that would regularly serve the purpose of restraining her and overpowering those who even use parameter-enhancing abilities; Alyssa can also throw a rogue Wizard Saint whom is known for his size through a wall without any strain. It is well known that in the heat of battle, Alyssa more often than not overpowers enemies much larger and more imposing than herself- generally, it doesn't matter what race they are; the moment Alyssa gets her hands on them, they're good as dead as a serial of blades strike hard and fast, potentially crippling the enemy's movements and defensive options in a matter of moments. The advantage to this massive strength comes in the aftershock; even with pure physical blows, such as kicks, or punches, Alyssa's strikes have no real need to connect because the shockwaves of air that follow pack enough force to completely stun an opponent, leaving them a sitting duck as Alyssa proceeds to unleash physical blows that, at high enough power, can send her opponents flying back several feet from pure strength alone. Her own punches have enough force to shatter stone into pieces, and, by punching the air, she is shown to be capable of destroying machines with pure air force. She has demonstrated that she is strong enough to enable her to knock out people with normal durability with as little as a tap to the head. Because of her superhuman bodily qualities, particularly her superhuman sense of touch in this case, Alyssa is known to possess complete control over her central nervous system, constantly reinforcing her strength to the absolute limit of somebody of her build – she can strike with such a force that an entire cliff was reduced to naught but falling rubble by a serial of her punches, and craters form when she stomps her foot into the vulnerable earth, and anything that she throws instantly becomes a high-speed projectile that can pierce alloys and concrete – this immense physical strength extends to her legs, which is elaborated upon below. And of course, her naturally immense speed does factor into how much of her strength that she displays at any given time, as the momentum that she dashes about in the heat of battle is transferred into her physical attacks both unarmed and while wielding her blade, bolstering the kinetic energy transmitted through the strike seven-fold or even more, granting Alyssa the ability to bust dense compositions of magical energy and eternano to smithereens with her blows, rendering anything and everything in the path of her incoming assault asunder, breaking down arcane defenses with a single godspeed blow as enemies and allies alike are left with their jaws dropped upon the ground, utterly mystified by the sheer power that Alyssa Lucifuge has dwelling within her tiny frame.

  • Shockwave (力生成滅波(ショックウェイブ), Shokkūeibu lit. Force-Generated Destruction Wave): Not a spell nor a supernatural ability per-se in any of its existences, a shockwave is a natural phenomena that is said to be one of the highest forms of vibration; it is an emission of pure concussive force that can cause intense amounts of destruction. It is actually relatively simple to induce a shockwave – as it's simply a propagating disturbance, all the user is required to do is focus a large amount of kinetic energy, which is the energy possessed by any moving object; into one or more of their limbs, gathering it in a single movement by making a movement with the selected limbs in question at high speeds to ensure that the ensuing blow would cause an intense acceleration of the kinetic energy to grant it amazing force as the user launches the extremity of choice from any direction – once their strike has made contact with something, they release these incredible amounts of kinetic energy from the "small point" known as the end of their limb, and as long as the medium is even slightly tangible, the shockwave comes into existence as a form of a high-pressure wave of pure concussive force that travels faster than the speed of sound and can propagate through the point of impact, shaking both the medium and anything around it, causing the objects around the point-of-impact to vibrate erratically in an extremely hard and fast wave, which causes other things that the material touches to vibrate too, resulting in a powerful explosion that does even more damage – it is called a "shock wave" because the wave of concussive force reverberates up and down like a crashing wave in the ocean. Upon releasing the shockwave, the wave of pure concussive of sorts more often than not damages the surrounding environment, blasting through the medium it was transferred through at astounding speeds in any direction that the user chooses upon release; these shockwaves can ripple through the ground or in the atmosphere, bringing mass destruction to anything that they come into contact with- they can repulse enemies away with incredible force while pushing over those on the fringe of the shockwave and shattering delicate substances; at the highest point, a shockwave can even cause minor earthquakes by shaking the ground or dislodging underground tectonic plates. The shockwaves can uproot trees, rend the earth, cut the skies, and smash small buildings, radiating throughout the vicinity, even disrupting enemy spells if they are being cast at the time, sending them careening across the landscape in the blink of an eye. Alyssa generally swings her Archenemy sword with enough speed and force that a single movement, no matter how minor, is capable of unleashing extremely powerful shockwaves which resonate throughout the air, slicing clean through everything and anything that these ripples of pure concussive force come into contact with. As mentioned before, a shockwave can ripple along anything at all as long as it is even slightly tangible; however, not only this, the consistency and makeup of what this wave of pure concussive force runs through has a rather subtle effect on how the shockwave reacts – for example, while a shockwave that travels through the ground is an earthquake, a thick liquid such as an ocean would result in the shockwave having a wider area-of-effect, but in contrast, a thin material like air would have the opposite effect, though in all manifestations, a shockwave is extremely deadly as it is both fast and powerful, making it easy to use and practical.

Immense Speed: As per her "high speed, high power, low defense" fighting style whether she's wielding her sword or going at her opponent with just her hand-to-hand skills, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Alyssa Lucifuge is almost stupendously swift on her feet despite her blindness with the ability to move at unprecedented amounts of speed, and of course, her relatively slim build only augments such a thing even further- it could be theorized that Alyssa wears so little because supposedly "too many clothes increases the drag one's body produces while in motion" or something stupid like that, but there's a more obvious reason at work. she displays very little physical strain or exertion when in motion; not only this, each and every one of her movements possess a consistent trait of being extremely fluid and precise, never wasting any time while darting around and keeping up an economy of motion in a fight. It was documented that Alyssa moves at velocities that casually outstrip the motions of the finest athletes, showing that even when limited by a lack of arcane power, her physical limits still aren't the limits of a regular human – best displayed by the fact that she darted across five city blocks in four seconds with only her senses to guide her. Of course, because Alyssa's superhuman senses, particularly her superhuman sense of touch in this case, Alyssa is known to possess complete control over her central nervous system, and similar to what she does with her strength, because she has achieved such a mastery over her nervous system, Alyssa's speeds are far beyond what most other Soul Reapers are capable of, arcane-assisted or not. Indeed, Alyssa has shown to be so agile that she is capable of leaping to the top of a lamp post with ease while jumping from rooftop to rooftop- Alyssa was an avid practitioner of parkour in her younger years, and even now, still practices it- this, along with her enhanced senses, has granted Alyssa what can simply be referred to as "speed beyond speed". Alyssa's full control over her speed and her status as a traceur has given her maximum potency in battle, leaping around and performing gymnastics-heavy moves in order to dodge projectiles or other physical attacks as easy as going out to get the newspaper; Alyssa makes liberal use of back handsprings, pushing off of walls, doing twists in mid-air and finding safety without getting a single scratch; thanks to this agility, she can use the battlefield to her advantage, jumping from wall to wall to keep her opponents unsure of her attack patterns. She is capable of moving at such a velocity in both on the land and in the air that no human eyes can perceive her movements and actions- even more-so, anyone with some sort of future sight cannot predict her motions, moving at a blindingly swift pace, effortlessly evading attacks and dodging projectiles launched towards her at close-range. Thanks to her impossibly tough leg muscles, Alyssa is capable of moving at such a swift velocity that she can instantaneously close long distances without even needing to exert her mastery over the Reduced Earth technique. Alyssa displays full control over the absolutely incredible velocities that she moves about as well as the resultant momentum, and she is capable of integrating it into her fighting style while accelerating to her maximum speed instantly without any build-up – but of course, to contrast, she is also capable of stopping and turning on a dime, dashing straight up vertical surfaces such as skyscrapers as well as running upon ceilings, and darting across bodies of water like some other guy in a book that a buncha people follow.

  • Reduced Earth (縮地, Shukuchi) is a basic high-speed movement technique, developed long before magic became commonplace; effectively, through the user slamming their foot upon earth ten times in a split second, they are capable of kicking off the ground in the blink of an eye and live up to the technique's name of "reduced earth" as the technique shrinks the distance between the user and their target in a split second. When performing Reduced Earth, the user focuses the majority of their body weight to one of their legs of the briefest of moments, before stomping the foot where most of their weight is focused upon the solid surface of where the user is standing at a rapid velocity before shifting the weight back to the rest of their frame, generating enough thrust to propel the user forward at incredible speeds, at least akin to a master of High Speed and defying the abilities of Slowing Magic; accelerating at velocities that are almost untraceable to reach short or long distances near instantaneously- it should be taken into consideration that in order to perform the technique at all, the user requires a solid surface to kick into and thus produce enough thrust. According to the untrained eyes of those watching on while the user performs this technique, more often than not it appears as if the user has effectively teleported using sheer power and speed alone, moving faster than anyone is capable of following as they seem to reduce the earth between the themselves and the opponent in the blink of an eye. As the Reduced Earth technique is focused entirely on speed, it can be best characterized by 'the velocity at which the user gets from the starting point to the finishing point in the least amount of movements', attempting to waste no unnecessary motions while attempting to achieve its goal. Generally, in regards to how much any user is capable of getting out of the Reduced Earth technique, things like racial traits such as perhaps elves being faster than humans do not factor into the end result- rather, it relies solely on the user's training and skill to determine how fast they can actually move, and it is mentioned that if the user neglects the skill and rarely harnesses it or practices with it, they would move at a slightly slower pace as the body would have to be accustomed to undergoing the motions of the technique regularly- this is something that could quite possibly lead to a theoretically weaker user of Reduced Earth accelerating towards their point of choice at a swifter pace than somebody who was previously deemed stronger. However, despite being heavily compared to "true" Teleportation Magic, a user of Reduced Earth is capable of being stopped in their tracks if anyone who is in the vicinity of the distance between the user and their destination calculates the miles-per-hour as well as the ending phase of the technique that the user is accelerating at and takes steps to intercept the movement accordingly, and as such it can be quite predictable in comparison to actual movement-type magics, as it doesn't use supernatural energies to prevent any sort of interruption- indeed, with Reduced Earth, an opponent with swift enough reflexes can properly counterattack the burst of speed simply by blasting them with a higher-speed projectile no matter its origin, as in the case of most users, it is near impossible to stop and turn on a dime, requiring great effort of simply stop before reaching the destination, meaning that while in motion, a user can be seen as almost powerless against an opponent's attacks- however, commonly, it is shown that due to the speeds that they move at, this generally isn't a serious concern.

Low Durability: As expected of a purely speed type fighter whom relies solely on her superhuman senses as well as her power over gravity in order to "defend" herself by just anticipating the strike and leaping out of the way, Alyssa is known to be almost completely incapable of taking a hit; while her constitution was always bad, after losing her eyes and developing her superhuman senses, her senses significantly amplified her sense of pain, and thus if she were to take a hit, she'd be knocked out in a single strike, gravity manipulation power or not. Alyssa is generally quite 'flabby' in that her body contains almost zero muscle, but is otherwise quite thin. It is virtually impossible for Alyssa to take a 'serious' hit no matter the type of strike thrown her way, and if struck and sent careening across the ground, Alyssa will, more often than not, have her legs buckle inwards as she slides, as contrast to almost any other close-range fighters, who tend to keep their legs bent strong. Alyssa even notes that in a straight up close-quarters battle with anyone worth their salt, she would go down in "five seconds, give or take" and this was well shown as a member of the Spriggan Twelve was able to knock her out in a single strike before she developed her superhuman senses; because of this, she figured that instead of taking a more confrontational job where she used her combat skills, being an assassin was her best bet as she is completely unable to fight prolonged battles in close-quarters, and thus, she opts to utilize hit and run tactics by leaping into the fray, bombarding the opponent with a swift flurry of bladework, and then jumping out of there as her primary means of offence, hoping to incapacitate a target before taking them out; additionally, her slender and small frame makes her a difficult target as she's shown that with some assistance from her superhuman senses, Alyssa is able to make minute dodges that, to the untrained eye, is just Alyssa standing still and the opponent's attack misses, whereas she's actually moving her body rather subtly to evade an attack – while risky, it minimizes her chances of being struck and it allows her to remain in close-quarters and still attacking a mile a minute. However, it can easily be displayed that with each hit that Alyssa takes by somebody with immense physical strength, she more often than not gets sent careening across the landscapes, tumbling through the ground and skies before she eventually manages to catch herself. However, if she's forced to physically exert herself for more than an hour at a time, she tires out extremely quickly- though she frequently goes for hour-long-walks at least once a day because she enjoys experiencing the sensations of the peaceful surroundings and helps her take her mind off things, but after this, upon returning to her private villa, Alyssa is pretty much not going to do anything else for the rest of the day.

Impressive Reflexes: Alyssa is shown to possess incredible reflexes even before her superhuman senses developed – prior to the acquisition of her trademark senses, she was capable of evading a Sword Magic spell that caused the user's blade to expand near-instantly like a spear simply by keeping focus on the motions of the sword when the ability was about to be activated and then subtly stepping out of the way while it was still in mid-flight, making it appear to onlookers that the extending blade had missed her completely while Alyssa simply stood in place. After receiving her superhuman senses, Alyssa's reflexes were enhanced significantly to the point that they became ten times greater than that of an ordinary fighter, being superior to most foes that she goes up against; because of her superhuman senses enhancing all of her physical parameters, Alyssa's agility, sense of balance, and her coordination are leagues beyond even the finest Olympic athlete. Indeed, Alyssa displays astounding amounts of control over her kinetic energies, borderline supernatural precision, and uncanny reaction times – all of these accompany her inarguable super speed. Thanks to her incredible reflexes, Alyssa has shown herself to be a rather impressive acrobat, which factors heavily into her skill with parkour as she is almost constantly seen leaping around while effortlessly evading any obstacles that would normally bring her movements to a complete halt with her flawless yet delicate movements. Whereas normally, anyone moving at velocities even close to Alyssa's speed would commonly have their surroundings vanish in a split-second in their own eyes, thanks to Alyssa's enhanced senses and reflexes, she is capable of experiencing the surroundings as normal as to process everything going on around her and react accordingly without missing any detail no matter how small it is as a byproduct of her incredible speed, she sees everything in a "bullet time" of sorts; this extends to the point that she is able to recognize incoming attacks from behind her – though her power over gravity certainly helps. She can evade powerful projectile while balancing herself on one hand, reacting so swiftly to current events in her battles that it seems as if she has a sixth sense of sorts; even being able to react to attacks before they're released; this enables her to evade point-blank blasts from several opponents simultaneously while coming off no worse for wear. As she moves about, Alyssa's agility and reflexes assist her in adjusting her position to assume any stance possible by instinct while additionally achieving perfect balance on any terrain.

Healing Factor: As a byproduct of being half-elf, Alyssa is known to possess a rather potent healing factor. When Alyssa is wounded, the blood cells of both types within her body will be enhanced by her magical energy; as the cells are endlessly working to bring back equilibrium to the body, these are enhanced a hundredfold by her half-elf heritage. Essentially, it enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue much, much faster than an ordinary human—in fact, she's capable of healing at such an accelerated pace that she can rejuvenate minor injuries within seconds. She is capable of healing from almost anything—however, this only goes to the limits of having her skin, muscles, and internal organs be under the effect of her healing factor. In addition, her healing factor gives Alyssa immunity to poisons and most drugs, except in massive doses; and as such, it's nearly impossible for her to become intoxicated from alcohol—and it also gives her an immunity to diseases. Her half-elf heritage, combined with her healing factor, finally, also slows her aging; hence why she appears fifteen but is actually fourty-seven.

Magical Abilities

Incredible Magical Power: As one of the most powerful magicians of the current age, Alyssa is known to have a positively enormous amount of magical power dwelling within her small body. Indeed, due to one's magical energy being influenced by their feelings, due to everything that Alyssa has suffered, especially in her childhood and days in Bosco, her negative emotions have corroded and distorted such a pure concept, making her energy itself incredibly foul and nauseating to be around when she exerts her magical energy. Indeed, Alyssa has natural control over the exertion of her magical power, keeping it contained to the point where it is virtually impossible to detect her by normal means, though the constant effort can be taxing. The presence it exudes is very much in-line with her malicious personality; the magical energy itself is a dimmed black, crackling intensely when Alyssa focuses; when Alyssa's power is at it's peak, it transforms into the frightening visage of a poisonous skull which surrounds her, striking fear into the hearts of her foes. It is so great it can be felt from a great distance and it has the tendency to make people perspire in fear. Her skill and control at using manipulating her magical energy aura allows her to perform a variety of abilities. Additionally, the sheer aura radiating from her person has the additional effect of affecting entire areas to the point of disrupting spells from enemies, as well as affecting others from seemingly miles away. Alyssa is known to have unlocked her Second Origin (二原, Nigen) and as such, it is permanently activated, granting her far greater reserves of magical energy than many other magicians. Magic originates from a Magic Origin (魔原, Magen), which is exactly what the wording indicates—it is a special organ that is located within the body of a magician, that absorbs eternano and bunches it up into clusters, which is processed into magical power. Every magician has a container inside their body that determines the limits of their Magic Power; this is precisely what a Magic Origin is. If the case becomes empty, eternano will come from the atmosphere and enters the magician's body and after a while, their Magic Power is restored.

During the intense heat of battle, Alyssa often makes use of the power known as Magic Skill: Eternano Haste (内魔導・復魔力(マジック・スキル・エーテルナノ・ヘイスト), Majikku Sukiru: Ēterunano Heisuto lit. Internalized Magic Arts: Magic Power Restoration), which is a rather rare skill that only the most powerful of magicians are born with, or they develop later in life. However, firstly, as it has been discovered, some magicians, once they have mastered the art of magic, are capable of manipulating eternano, or just plain showing off unique ways to utilize magic, far beyond the norm. These skills are collectively known as Magic Skills instead of magic proper; thanks to being simply a manipulation and extension of the basics, as opposed to using magic to create a new function entirely. In this case, while normally, eternano flows into the magician's Magic Origin from the atmosphere after their magical power has been expended. However, if the magician has access to Eternano Haste, then eternano will enter the magician's body much quicker; it works by converting half of the nearby eternano into magical power, which the user's Magic Origin absorbs, thereby cutting the cost of regular spells by half the amount, as the name suggests, enabling them to gather magical energy much faster than many other magicians who even use less magic; especially when they have been recently drained of power, allowing the user to get back to casting powerful spells easily, in addition to this, when they are half out of energy, the user's Magic Origin initiates a suction effect, absorbing any ambient eternano from the atmosphere and drawing it into the user's body, restoring their magical power. However, this can only be done five times per battle, as after that, the area will be devoid of eternano, rendering both magicians' magic effectively useless. While Alyssa's arcane draw has a greater area-of-effect than most, Magic Skill: Eternano Haste dramatically enhances the speed at which her arcane might recovers, enabling her to exhaust her supply of magical energy and refill her Magic Origin, before entering the fray once more - indeed, while she's noted to have a larger Magic Origin than most other people—enough to the point that she seemingly never runs out of magical power, Alyssa often uses this skill in order to recharge herself every now and again within the heat of battle.

  • Magical Aura (魔力の霊気, Maryoku no Reiki): A Magical Aura is a common term given to the exertion of magical energy into a form outside of the user's body that isn't used in the formation of spells. It has been demonstrated by various magicians of varying potency, and is a common means of intimidation. A magical aura is created when the body's container of Eternano particles exceeds the limits of what it contains, or is purposefully released by the user. Upon doing so, the magical energy surges around the body and is exerted outwards in the form of an aura, which holds considerable pressure surrounding it. Depending on the level of magical power one possesses and the control behind it, it can be used as a means to intimidate another individual, or as a preparation for a powerful spell. A single magical aura can have a wide variety of effects dependent on the power an individual exerts, which will be outlined in the following sections. A standard aura is produced by magicians with a moderate level of magical power within their body. By exerting it outward, it forms a thin layer of pressure that can cause one to be intimidated if they aren't a magician, or if they are a rather weak magician. This is generally demonstrated by individuals of S-Class strength when they are holding back, or when standard magicians are showing that they are entering their full reserves of power. It should be noted that the density of this aura, by a S-Class magician, can cause physical attacks to be repelled with notable ease; Alyssa's aura almost consumes her in its colour, leaving nothing but a phantom-like apparition to remain. It should also be noted that the aura is far wider, and is generally uncontrolled by Alyssa. However, her aura isn't limited to intimidation, and can be used for the preparation of a spell. It is also worth noting that the pressure exhibited from such an aura can form a large column of energy, leaving the pressure enough to visibly cause strain on people even from a considerable distance away from the exertion of the aura, indicating at the sheer level of power within this aura. Alyssa's special form of Spirit Slayer Magic is entwined within her arcane power, resulting in the gravity of the vicinity being amplified to the point that from the very moment of its unleashing, her opponents are frozen in what can be described as a mixture of fear and the gravitational energies locking them in place.
  • Combination Spell (二魔法の合(コンビネーション・スペル), Konbinēshon Superu lit. Fusion between Two Magics): A Combination Spell is exactly as it says on the tin—it is a combination between two magics, not dissimilar to that of a Unison Raid; however, it is notably somewhat weaker than a Unison Raid thanks to the user being the only magician who unleashes the spell. A Combination Spell is forged when the user focuses their first spell upon one of their hands or one of their fingers, before doing the same with the second. When this is done, the user brings them together, either by clasping their hands together, or intertwining their fingers—this causes the eternano that composes the twin spells to interact in a volatile manner, exchanging numerous particles before instantly bringing both spells together, forging a fusion of both which the user then casts at the opponent like normal. While this does fuse the two spells in order to produce a far more powerful spell, the user is capable of mixing it up a fair bit—they can choose not to combine the spells, but instead, cause the spells to impact upon their target simultaneously, causing their effects to activate right after each other—this is done by molding the eternano particles to allow them to surge chaotically; causing the twin spells to launch through the atmosphere, randomly crashing into one another to cause a violent surging rise of magical energy numerous times before striking the opponent with amazing power. With the Combination Spell Magic Skill, the user is able to combine standard magical spells of any type, whether it be elemental or otherwise, with any spell which they have forged by themselves, enabling the user to perform enormously powerful attacks and allowing them to create almost endless combinations, keeping the opponent guessing each time. Additionally, something that seems to be exclusive to Alyssa is the ability to take an opponent's spell from them while casting her own spells and use that spell as her own. Whenever the user of a spell is about to attack Alyssa with a spell, Alyssa is capable of focusing her first spell upon one of her hands—and then, she exerts her magical aura, which extends outwards and momentarily phases through the opposing spell, forging a replica of it in Alyssa's other hand; at which point the aura dissipates. From this point, Alyssa is capable of using this replica of the opponent's spell in order to initiate the regular Combination Spell. Because of this ability, it makes Alyssa all the more deadly. However, it does have a few weaknesses—even if Alyssa copies the opposing spell, it will not stop the enemy's attack—as Steal Spell doesn't stop the opposing spell at all. In addition, this version of Combination Spell can only be utilized on normal spells; Lost Magic, Ancient Spells, and Black Arts are unaffected by this certain variant, making the ability extremely situational.

Magic in General

Assorted Magic (魔法, Mahō): Magic is the main form of combat for magicians; it is the physical embodiment of the spirit. When the physical spirit of an organism connects with the spiritual flow of nature, the spirit forms Magic as a product of the connection. To utilize Magic, a magician must use Magic Power (魔力, Maryoku) in their body. Magic Power is the source of Power for all magicians, it is composed of Eternano (魔子(エーテルナノ), Ēterunano lit. Magic Particles), which is the term coined to name particles of Magic. Eternano dwells inside all living organisms and throughout the atmosphere. Nobody knows when Magic began, or how Eternano originated; every magician has a container inside their body that determines the limits of their Magic Power. If the case becomes empty, Eternano will come from the atmosphere and enters the magician's body and after a while, their Magic Power is restored. Eternano has near-zero rest mass - though, like any particle, its mass increases to reflect its potential or kinetic energy - and can carry either a positive or negative charge. In order to cast spells, a magician derives the power necessary from two sources: their own body's Magic Origin (魔原, Magen), and the atmosphere. A Magic Origin is exactly what the wording indicates—it is a special organ that is located within the body of a magician, that absorbs eternano and bunches it up into clusters, which is processed into magical power. Every magician has a container inside their body that determines the limits of their Magic Power; this is precisely what a Magic Origin is. If the case becomes empty, eternano will come from the atmosphere and enters the magician's body and after a while, their Magic Power is restored. It appears that the concept of using a proportion to the user's Magic Origin or the atmosphere is dependent entirely upon the magic used in question. With internal magic such as High Speed, one requires the use of their own magic far more than external magic such as Fire Magic, where they generally rely more on atmospherically magic. By collecting eternano and subsequently imbuing it with a certain 'command' through either an incantation, hand gesture or a simple spell name, allow it to then mysteriously take upon a characteristic unique to that spell. Interestingly, some magicians, if they are descended from unique families, have shown that they are capable of replenishing their eternano faster thanks to unique traits. However, recent studies have identified another, unused, part of a magician's Magic Origin that contains a large amount of dormant power: the Second Origin. If a magician somehow manages to unlock their Second Origin, they will then receive an enormous boost in Magic Power, or they can wait until the right moment to unleash the Magic Power of their Second Origin in order to gain an advantage in the battle.

AlyssaMagicStance

Alyssa's Magic Seal.

Despite her prestige, Alyssa Lucifuge utilizes the bog standard Modern Magic System (近代魔導式, Kindai Madō-shiki), which is the most widespread magic system of all; as Magic began to evolve, so did people's interest in the arcane art, and as such, the old Formula Eltria was "updated" so that everyone who could do it would take an interest in magic in the many centuries to come. The Modern Magic System is exceedingly versatile as it is streamlined and considered easy-to-use compared to Formula Eltria, where the magician was required to sacrifice physical might for enormous magical potential, but nowhere near as powerful as what was made before; being capable of being adapted and utilized for many a situation, whether it be offense, defense, maneuverability, and many recreational uses such as construction and healing. While vastly weaker in terms of sheer magical output and power than Formula Eltria, the Modern Magic System has so many other benefits that over time, Formula Eltria was forgotten by the masses. The Modern Magic Style is utilized by almost every known magician around three hundred years ago to the present day- the trio of Legal, Independent, and Dark Magicians all harness its power. The Magic Seal of the Modern Magic System resembles a proper circle, with concentric rings and squares inscribed in it- the Magic Seal has numerous images symbolic to magic such as gemstones placed in the four cardinal directions emblazoned upon the seal. Alyssa's usage of the Modern Magic System is due to the fact that it is the magic system which has the greatest level of synergy with the power that kills spirits, assisting her Magic Origin in incorporating her element into her body and thus using it to bolster the potency of her blows. However, because of a combination of factors, including her ingenuity and the sheer versatility of her personal form of Spirit Slayer Magic, Alyssa's iteration of the Modern Magic System is more than capable of matching the output of a user of Formula Eltria, which is the very first magic style, having been around ever since the discovery of magic many millennia ago, as well as the Black Arts Magic Style, the magic system utilized solely by those who are capable of wielding the forbidden black magics referred to as, well, obviously, the Black Arts. Like many powerful magicians, Alyssa possesses her own customized Magic Seal that appears in the place of the generic crests whenever a magic seal is needed - it's mainly a dark purple in texture, but starts off pitch-black as it is gathering energy; resembling a disc with a quartet of spikes protruding outwards like a shuriken, her magic seal has a diamond-esque structure superimposed over itself as well.

Similar to Elraine Ardygun, whom Alyssa could be considered the Spirit Slayer equivalent of because of their harsh attitudes and absolute mastery of their fighting styles, due to her Spirit Slayer Magic which was granted to her by the Lemegeton Spirit King Belial, Alyssa Lucifuge is known to be fairly prideful about the magic that kills the phantasmal cryptids that dwells within her body, and it is for this reason that she refuses to use any other magic as a way of combat, though she has known to have certain "mundane" magics that are part and parcel of her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic such as Reflector and possess an excellent synergy with her main magic, including Darkness-Make which she utilizes as a catalyst for the solidification of her gravitational energies by superimposing them over these inky constructs by means of a Combination Spell, which is, well, a combination between two magics, not dissimilar to that of a Unison Raid; due to this, Alyssa is capable of weaving her spells together; and her magic is noticeably more stable than most others with magic abilities, and therefore it does not breakdown at all and is not easily deflected; it can be said that Alyssa's spells are almost unstoppable. Alyssa, due to her incredible skill, is able to cast almost any type of spell without the need for an incantation without any loss of power. Magic can be used to either destroy or save the world; and by definition, it is the art of producing a desired effect or result through the use of incantation or various other techniques, that presumably assure human control of supernatural agencies or the forces of nature – being dark-inclined yet not using the Magic System of Dark Magicians, incidentally symbolic of her true nature, this enables Alyssa to strike through the arcane with a certain viciousness.

Because of her immense mastery of magic, Alyssa can chain up to a maximum of fifteen spells together by applying her great mind and concentrating; focusing to her utmost limit—because of this connection, the special effect of the unleashed spells are sprung into activation instantly after the spell before it, or at the exact same time as one another, allowing for numerous powers to be instilled within the resulting combination to keep the opponent guessing over and over, with no two powers being the same. This enables Alyssa to unleash attacks in swift succession and effortlessly overpower her opponents quickly. Due to her upbringing, Alyssa takes no particular pride in her magics with of course, the exception of her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, seeming them more as an extra means to justify an end and complete her missions – she has little interest in learning more magic in the first place; only concerned about whether other types of magic would prove practical as a tool in combat situations; always using them to supplement her Spirit Slayer Magic without caring for their individual uses. While the activation of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is part and parcel of her fighting style, Alyssa is still capable of using various different spells and techniques; indeed, personally, though quite (except not really) subtly, Alyssa prefers to get up close and personal with her opponents, fighting with the speed of lightning and the power of an earthquake. Indeed, because of her desire to focus on close combat, the alternate magics she has learnt aside from her Spirit Slayer Magic have been honed to utter perfection, the reason for which is because while she mainly goes about smashing her opponents around, she would logically need some sort of failsafe in case she finds herself in a bind; thus she only learnt what was necessary to get by in the rough-and-tumble world.

  • AlyssaTeen

Alyssa's general appearance in Adult Mode.

Adult Mode (改武態(アダルト・モード), Adarutomōdo lit. Revised Armed Form): Adult Mode is known to be a variant of Armed Form; which enables the user to take on a more battle-ready attire—it is a special uncategorized spell that's commonly exclusive to illusionists in order to deceive their opponents – however, Alyssa herself has obtained it for her own use through an unknown method. Indeed, with Adult Mode, Alyssa has modified the spell to enable her to take upon the form of a young adult—albeit not her true age but still causes her to take upon an approximation of what she would look like as a young adult, so it serves more like a "limit release level one". In order to initiate Adult Mode, Alyssa channels her magical energy into her bodily systems, using her energy to age herself from the inside out, allowing her to transform her normally underage frame into that of a late teen and back; she has undergone a transformation into a young woman—one with long, black hair, scarlet eyes, and a rather nice body; especially concerning her bust size; overall, despite being quite a beauty, Alyssa is very much battle ready. She wears a dark sleeveless mini dress with a white collar and a red tie; along with a red belt that has a red side skirt cover, as well as long black socks and black shoes. Lastly, in this form, Alyssa wears red gauntlets and black gloves. From the moment that she activates Adult Mode, Alyssa compresses her magical power into a small, condensed form, and uses the power of the form in order to perform high-speed combat. Her new speed enhances her movements a hundredfold, allowing her to create dozens of afterimages to confuse her opponent. By focusing this power into a single leg, Alyssa can launch a much faster kick with much greater impact. Alyssa's speed appears to create up to eight doubles of herself while in motion. These doubles are not illusory; Alyssa is moving at a speed between different positions that is faster than the speed of sound. As such, were all the doubles to attack at once, it would mean that Alyssa is attacking from all those positions simultaneously, giving her incredible destructive power. Similarly, because of this same speed, attacking the doubles would be futile as Alyssa would have moved long before the attack even reaches her. Adult Mode also further enhances her naturally great strength. She effortlessly blocked a punch from an high-levelled Etherious from Tartaros with relative ease. The sudden boost in strength upon activating the form allows Alyssa to break free from any attack which binds her or prevents her from moving. She can grab a blade with her bare hand without feeling any of the exerted force, though said force could do considerable damage to the surrounding area. Additionally, in Adult Mode, Alyssa has displayed that she can effortlessly break through the Cocytus: Embrace End spell of Ice Devil Slayer Magic as cast by Annarose Antoinette with nothing but her bare hands and minute application of surging her Magical Aura. The primary advantage of this ability is the greater strength, speed, endurance, magical output, and skill aptitude compared to her child body; in addition, in Adult Mode, she can channel her magical energy with far more dexterity.

Darkness-Make

Darkness-Make (闇の造形魔法(ダークネス・メーク), Dākunesu Meiku lit. Darkness Molding Magic) is a Caster Magic and a subspecies of Darkness Magic of the Molding Magic brand; as the name may or may not suggest, Darkness-Make involves the creation of objects involving the element known as darkness, which is the polar opposite to brightness, the result of the condition of a very small amount or even an absence of visible light; beings are incapable of distinguishing colours in conditions of either high brightness or darkness, and in conditions of insufficient light, perception is achromatic and ultimately, black; not only this, Darkness-Make encompasses shadows, which is a space where light from a light source is blocked by an opaque object, occupying all of the three-dimensional volume behind an object with light in front of it. Like most other forms of Molding Magic, Darkness-Make is something of an oddball amongst the various other forms of Elemental Magic and their subspecies, as while more often than not, Darkness-Make lacks sheer power, it more than makes up for it in the incredible amount of options at hand which can be brought out by the caster's imagination – indeed, while it is underrated among the variety of obscure magic such as the infamous Slayer Magic, including Dragon Slayer Magic, God Slayer Magic and similar Lost Magic, it can be considered one of the most versatile forms of magic in existence.

As mentioned above in the opening paragraph, Darkness-Make is a type of Molding Magic, which itself is an Elemental Magic that's focused almost entirely around the shaping of the caster's element into numerous shapes and figures in order to suit the situation, taking the concept of "Shape Transformation" to its absolute zenith; in the case of Darkness-Make, it utilizes an in-born Darkness Magic, the Elemental Magic that revolves around the manipulation and generation of darkness as its catalyst – indeed, just like most other forms of Molding Magic, Darkness-Make and Darkness Magic can be considered akin to any Bethesda Softworks game and game mods – you can't have one without the other; speaking of which, rip in pasta-sauce mod support for Fallout 4 and Skyrim for Playstation 4, you were too pure for this world, otherwise the bare-bones tool you do have is as useless as anti-corruption efforts in the government. Since Darkness Magic provides the caster with the ability to generate the darkness and focus it rather minutely into all sorts of spells, one would need Darkness-Make to get the most out of the element of darkness in general. Thus, any sane user of Darkness-Make can be considered to have their version of this Molding Magic exist as a permanent Combination Spell, which is, well, a combination between two magics, not dissimilar to that of a Unison Raid; fusing Darkness-Make and Darkness Magic. Indeed, when inducing the activation sequence for any darkness-based supernatural power, the caster is capable of invoking the power to shape the demonic element produced simply by mentally commanding it or using the incantation of "Darkness-Make...[insert spell name here]"; though in the case of the stronger wielders of Darkness-Make, they can simply snap their fingers as to induce the transmogrification and convergence of all necessary particles of the activation sequence, not requiring any prior motions to invoke this unholy, demonic power.

In order to harness Darkness-Make, the user makes the usual Molding Magic pose, placing their right arm down next to their abdomen, with an open palm, and from here, the caster places their closed right fist on the face of their palm – while the caster induces the usual elemental formation process by pulsing the magical energies dwelling within their Magic Origin outwards into the immediate area in order to interact with the eternano that's saturated throughout the atmosphere, thus starting up the mainstay magical energy + eternano fusion, this dynamic pose enables the user to tap into alchemic theory, which is a philosophical and protoscientific tradition that aimed to purify, mature, and perfect certain objects into its mechanics as a major proponent of the sequence as they utilize their willpower as well as their Magical Aura surging outwards from their body in order to harness the principles of going by the opposite of the 'magic = feelings' concept—by fuelling their magic with negative feelings, the user is capable of initiating the usual fusion of eternano and magical power, manifesting pure darkness, which is the polar opposite to brightness, the result of the condition of a very small amount or even an absence of visible light. However, unlike regular Darkness Magic, in the case of Darkness-Make, during the activation sequence, the caster only manifests this darkness lightly, that is to say, that they simply project the darkness one or two feet ahead of themselves. However, that is where Darkness-Make's full power comes into play— if the user understands the inherent structure of the properties about to be reproduced in their mind; including the flow and balance of magical energy within, they can use the darkness in order to perfectly replicate the structure of the identified material, using the darkness to cause the manifested item in a more malleable state, completely unlike its regular version, as to allow it to be easily reshaped into a new form, reforming the material into a new shape. During this process, the caster projects their Magic Seal outwards while envisioning the creation of their choice and drawing power from the atmosphere as to scan the vicinity for all negative feelings and absorb it; the caster's magical energies flow from their own body and entwine themselves with everything else put into action through the activation sequence, resonating visually as a pulse of black and purple energy as the desired creation spawns from the glyph of energy accompanied by a swirling torrent of inky blackness.

But, of course, no matter the activation method for Darkness-Make, the end result is always the same in that it sets up a perfect stage for the user to manipulate the shape of the darkness and shadows that the stray eternano and other molecules within the atmosphere is transformed into in any way that they deem to be suitable at a whim through the process of expanding, shaping, and solidifying the darkness, whether it be weapons for certain offensive measures for both close-range and long-range combat; also, the caster can manifest all sorts of creatures that function in a similar manner to Celestial Spirit Magic or Familiars, armour to bolster defensive capabilities, body parts, or even for more miscellaneous purposes such as more mundane, everyday items such as chairs and tables, as well as this, Darkness-Make has some strategic element to it in regards to espionage and the like, as the user is capable of creating exact replications of keys or scanners in order to access previously unavailable areas; the caster can form almost anything, whether said objects formed happen to be living or not. With Darkness-Make, the user is able to draw any darkness or shadow from any source, including the night sky and their own shadow; though they able to manifest darkness from their own magical power, but this is relatively taxing on their body and magic reserves, which is why it is preferable to draw their element from natural sources. Like regular Darkness Magic, Darkness-Make's substance is known to be extremely destructive, capable of obliterating almost anything in its path as the eternano composing the darkness accelerates the moment of contact with a physical being, causing it to explode momentarily, before reverting to its previous state and continuing to travel forward. As the user is capable of molding darkness from the night sky, Darkness-Make becomes exponentially more powerful at night—making a user of the magic considered nearly invincible, with only a few weaknesses to exploit. With high-level Darkness-Make, it is possible to manufacture an exact replica of objects using darkness as the primary material.

Just like most other forms of Molding Magic such as Ice-Make and Lightning-Make, there are currently two known methods in which to harness the power of Darkness-Make; both with their own pros and cons. The first one is called Static Darkness-Make. This type of Darkness-Make is characterized by the creation of inanimate objects, such as weapons of both close-range and long-range capabilities, or by affecting the very environment around them in a similar manner to terraforming. The second type is called Dynamic Darkness-Make. This type of Darkness-Make focuses on creating animate sculptures of blackness, usually in the form of creatures no matter if they're mundane or classified as legendary creatures; though human body parts and the like can also be formed. Generally, Dynamic Darkness-Make is said to be more quickly cast than Static Darkness-Make, though the effort to maintain these dark familiars can oftentimes be extremely taxing mentally upon the wielder. Of course, as mentioned previously, since both styles of Darkness-Make have their own pros and cons, there is no clear "superior", leaving the matter of which style is "stronger" up to the individual user. Despite all of its near invincibility as darkness can be procured from nearly everything and anywhere, Darkness-Make's greatest weakness is that by drawing upon the element of the night sky; darkness, the user subjects themselves to the full brunt of the negative emotions that compose Darkness Magic and Shadow Magic and as well as their respective subspecies magics. This, in turn, will slowly corrupt the user by negatively influencing their personality to become a twisted mirror of their former self, causing a regular magician to eventually become a dark magician, and it is because of this that a practitioner must be careful when utilizing this magic.

To immediately get down to business, Alyssa Lucifuge is highly proficient in regards to utilizing Darkness-Make, and no matter which form she harnesses, she can switch various constructs that she has manifested with faster than the speed of thought, even shifting between countless tools in the heat of battle with a skill level that rivals or even possibly exceeds that of the fearsome Titania; indeed, Alyssa is known to form numerous appendages out of stygian energies with her expertise in Darkness-Make in order to assault her enemies with impunity; casually reshaping items even after they've been created to keep a certain level of unpredictability with her attacks, shifting a black sword that's used to slash at her opponent into a shield to defend herself instantly as the foe launches a counterattack at her. While in flight, lances of darkness transmogrify into a plethora of black dragon that rush forth and overwhelm her opponent through sheer force, and many more miraculous feats that are unheard of by most wielders of Molding Magic as she is able to call upon any spell of the three forms of Darkness-Make methods, whether it be Static Darkness-Make, Dynamic Darkness-Make, or even Darkness-Make Unlimited without said spells being directly listed within her bucket capacity, revealing a capacity for creation that's virtually unmatched as she treats the dark manifestations as an extension of her own body.

Interestingly, Alyssa's Darkness-Make takes upon a form that's unique to her usage of the magic alone – the darkness she creates with this type of Molding Magic takes upon the visage of blackened feathers, which are epidermal growths that form the distinctive outer covering known as plumage on birds which she is capable of shaping and manipulating in any way she deems to be suitable. The feathers of dark energy that Darkness-Make never-endingly generates are as black as the stygian night in texture, and it is said that even in the face of a light beyond limit, these dark feathers would not display even the slightest of hints of having a lighter texture underneath those infinite layers of darkness; due to the composition of the plumage, they are said to defy the Laws of Physics. When Alyssa isn't displaying the full potency of the Darkness-Make, the feathers that shroud her sword enhance its sharpness tenfold, enabling her to use her Archenemy to slice through anything in her way, even if the obstruction in her way was composed of high-density eternano particles. This grants her Archenemy blade an edge over most regular swords, something which Alyssa with her fighting style can exploit rather mercilessly. In conjunction with her fighting style, Alyssa mainly harnesses her Darkness-Make to launch countless feather attacks with powerful aftereffects to quickly gain an advantage; harnessing several tricky abilities in order to protect herself from being hampered and negated so she can continue her onslaught. This property of her Darkness-Make does not solely revolve around the idea of "generating feathers" per-se, but rather, Alyssa's Darkness-Make is capable of being harnessed for all sorts of purposes, with almost countless results all stemming from two simple words—"manipulate feathers".

Because it does not specify any real limits or any really well-defined explanation as to what "manipulate feathers" does, Arc of Blackfeathers is open to a vast amount of interpretation, and it is an extremely rare and powerful type of subcategory of magic known as a Semantic-Type (意味型, Imi-gata), meaning that it is a supernatural power that can be defined solely by Alyssa's interpretation of what it governs over, all depending on her wording rather than anything logical, effectively granting her the ability to do anything with feathers that she can think of. As such, her Darkness-Make transforms her thoughts and ideas of how the ability to "manipulate feathers" would function in any situation into an actual power. This alone makes Alyssa's Darkness-Make frightfully powerful despite the ability to manipulate feathers seeming quite boring on paper to other magic abilities, and anything that Alyssa could imagine her feathers doing is rendered capable of becoming a possibility; indeed, this simple concept can be applied to a near countless multitude of unconventional uses, meaning that while seeming quite useless, Alyssa's form of Darkness-Make is easily one of the most versatile magics in existence as its powers are only limited by Alyssa's imagination. Generally, Alyssa harnesses the broad definition of "manipulating feathers" in order to generate countless feathers from her very existence at a rapid rate of formation, and then shape them according to her will in order to have these pitch-black down take upon numerous forms all according to the situation at hand. One of the more common uses of Darkness-Make is to manifest a multitude of feathers and then launch them as a hail of arrows; because feathers brought into existence by Darkness-Make for the purpose of offense generally serve as mono-molecular blades, this makes them exceptionally deadly as they have shown to be capable of bursting straight through stone and tempered alloys without losing any of their momentum while in motion.

Even so, despite Alyssa's skill in shaping and creating dark constructs to serve a myriad of purposes in the heat of battle, Darkness-Make more often than not plays second fiddle to Alyssa's Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, harnessing the Darkness-Make in a manner not dissimilar to how Ice-Make is automatically infused within Ice Devil Slayer Magic and used in conjunction with that magic to serve a similar purpose as the Photonic Forge power of Photon Dragon Slayer Magic and Crystallos Forge of Crystal Dragon Slayer Magic – while normally, Darkness-Make would go with the likes of a darkness-element Slayer Magic such as Black Dragon Slayer Magic for Dragon Slayer Magic or Night God Slayer Magic for God Slayer Magic, because it is nigh-impossible to mold gravity as it's a natural phenomenon by which all physical bodies attract each other and does not possess a tangible form unless influenced by an outside source, since darkness and gravity are generally associated with one another in regards to the various forms of Elemental Magic, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic and Darkness-Make go hand-in-hand, enabling Alyssa to casually merge the shaping properties and tangibility of this Molding Magic with her Spirit Slayer Magic by means of a Combination Spell, resulting in a self-Unison Raid that fuses certain aspects of both as to shape her gravity into a wide variety of constructs, incidentally bestowing both components of this ability the properties of each other.

Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic

Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic (厳の滅霊魔法, Gen no Metsurei Mahō) is a Caster Magic, Lost Magic, obviously a Slayer Magic, and last, but not least, a Spirit Slayer Magic which is focused upon the transformation of the physiology of the caster's body into a spirit, an extremely powerful type of legendary creature that's classified non-corporeal substance contrasted with the material body; this includes those brought into the physical realm through the power of other magicians that can be categorized as belonging to the definition of Spirit Summoning Magic and are of an ethereal composition, but also encompasses a wide variety of terms, including ghosts and sprites, all attuned to this particular element, resulting in Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic revolving around the generation, manipulation, and consumption of the pseudo-element of gravity, which is a natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another.

Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is wielded solely by Alyssa Lucifuge, the Guild Ace and the leader of the Band of Seven of the Sniper Raid Guild, taught to her by the Different Dimension Demon, King Belial (七十二魔公の冥府・重力の黒王者(ディファレント・ディメンション・デーモン・キング・ベリアル), Difarento Dimenshon Dēmon Kingu Beriaru lit. Seventy-Two Demonic Dukes of Hell, Black Monarch of Gravity), a member of the Lemegeton Spirits whom are a series of seventy-two phenomenally powerful eldritch beings with power beyond all compare that possess control over natural phenomena and are stylized after the Great Old Ones and the creatures in the works of H.P Lovecraft in general in addition to the demons within the Ars Goetia.

In order to learn the power of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic in the first place, the beginning stages of obtaining its power takes place in a similar manner to a wielder of First Generation Dragon Slayer Magic; being taught by a spirit itself; of course, it doesn't matter what kind of spirit it is, as long as it can be classified as "an incorporeal body with an existence composed entirely out of energy" as per most forms of spirits. A willing user can learn Spirit Slayer Magic from almost any type of spirit, as long as the spirit in question has the methods in order to teach the magician; though "Spirit Kings"; leaders of a spirit race cannot teach a magician, as if they were to attempt to teach a human their magic, they would be unable to accept the force of their magic - however, some exceedingly rare exceptions exist to this. Once a hopeful wielder of this incredible power has decided what spirit to have them teach this magic, the caster must forge a contract with spirits of any type, even ghouls hailed as Summon Spirits which are located within the world of Earth Land —usually one per town. These beings are part of a set created by the 'higher spirits' for the sole purpose of keeping order within Earth Land. First, the foremost requirement is to locate a spirit. Finding one isn't a walk in the park, that's for sure- the user must be knowledgeable in its habitat, its favorite kind of food, and what it wishes to make out of the contract. From here, the spirit and the caster work out a suitable deal with the target commonly asking for their heart's desire and the user asking for something important to the target in return; but once the deal has been completed, the spirit expels their supernatural energies outwards, engulfing the target in their malefic supernatural powers which seep into the target's body, reaching their soul itself in a ritualistic process. From here, the spirit utilizes their mastery over the arcane and the supernatural particles that are strewn about through this world of whimsy and wonder, engulfing the hopeful wielder with their arcane energies as they seep inside of the target's body, with the spirit reaching inside the humanoid's soul, searching for that otherworldly organ referred to as a Magic Origin and from there, making a few changes here and there as to alter the process of how the Magic Origin functions and its properties, therefore transmogrifying their Magic Origin into a strange hybrid between that of a spirit's Magic Origin and a humanoid Magic Origin, possessing the traits of the former but the arcane storage capacity of the latter, effectively causing their body to be bestowed with the magical powers of a Spirit - otherwise known as Spirit Slayer Magic. Continuing with this process, this magical power acts alongside the energy of the body in order to catalyze a variety of bodily processes, therefore allowing the morphing of their physiology to a point where the individual has adopted some physical traits, a myriad of abilities also shared with their teacher, as well as the element from the said spirit, which can be conjured from the magician's body for countless purposes; upon teaching the magician their form of Spirit Slayer Magic, the spirit enters the caster's soul in a manner not dissimilar to the Dragon Soul Seal and engraves their powers within the wielder, constantly boosting Spirit Slayer Magic to a level akin to Primal Dragon Mode. As one may notice, Spirit Slayer's mechanics are extremely similar to that of any other Slayer Magic; however, there's more than meets the eye.

When inducing the activation process for Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic and thereby performing the signature gravitational energy manipulation of the magic, the caster gathers magical energies within their hands or feet while focusing intently, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws- in the case of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, this grants the user complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles. In accordance with the power of Spirit Slayer Magic, activating this gravitational manipulation bestows upon the user various characteristics typical of their gravity spirit: lungs capable of spewing gravitational rays, a body that grants protection against shifts in gravity, and armaments covered in gravitational energies, allowing them to produce and control gravity as well as gravitational energy from any part of their body, which can be used both in melee and as a ranged form of offense, turning their body into a makeshift weapon unique to themselves, greatly increasing the damage of their blows by increasing or decreasing gravity by mimicking a gravitational pull or push in some way, giving them the ability to reinforce the sheer power of their own body with their power over gravity. Unlike regular forms of gravity-based powers, which more often than not require various gestures and hand movements such as simply spreading both arms with the index and middle fingers of both hands splayed, or by thrusting one hand towards the target, palm facing forward in order to utilize their power, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic requires none, as the power to manipulate gravity is something that the spirit whom taught the caster this magic that they are an embodiment of. Effectively, this grants the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic the ability to call upon the assets of a spirit even if their bodily structure isn't one-hundred-percent the same as the beings from which this magic originated, the caster is capable of inducing a metamorphosis of their body structure as to take upon traits of a spirit instantaneously which is done in conjunction with the activation sequence as mentioned above, bestowing upon the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic the lungs and enhanced vocal folds of a spirit that are capable of spewing incredibly powerful and compact physical gravitational rays, a corporal body which are laced with gravitational energies as to provide protection against anything considered hard and inorganic, and fierce limbs, whether prehensile or not which are enshrouded with gravity, specifically attuned to dealing incredible amounts of damage, overall incorporating the pseudo-element of gravity into their body – all of this combined, results in the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic transforming their entire existence into that of a make-shift weapon whose ownership is unique to them and them alone, wielding the element of gravity that was harnessed by their spirit and passed down to them alongside the natural physical superiority of a spirit in combat, utilizing offensive ability, stamina, and vitality, to transmogrify themselves into the greatest weapon of all, thus dramatically increasing the damage inflicted upon anything that they come into contact with using the sheer force of their strikes in all ranges; though close-combat is where this form of Spirit Slayer Magic usually shines, as the magic massively bolsters the power of their unarmed blows with the user unleashing powerful close-range strikes that whip up innumerable storms of gravitational energy which can plow through defenses with relative ease, and with the power of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, the caster possesses an absolute dominance over anything considered "gravity" and everything related to and dwelling within it.

GravitySpiritSlayerEffects

Alyssa Lucifuge using Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic to induce terraforming and open up numerous holes in the earth.

In regards to the effects of gravity in Earth Land, gravity gives weight to physical objects and causes the tides. Gravity has an infinite range, although its effects become increasingly weaker on farther objects – since the power of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is predominantly focused on concentrating and intensifying the force of gravity, and gravity is a fundamental force of nature that affects everything and anyone, it can be said that Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is one of the stronger forms of Spirit Slayer Magic. As one would expect from a magic under the Slayer Magic line, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic possesses an incredibly large range of offensive and defensive properties through the inducement of a gravitational pull, which is the attraction between physical objects with mass, and a gravitational push, which is its opposite, while also increasing or decreasing the gravity of anything that they wish, rendering most frontal assaults virtually useless. When harnessing the power of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, the caster is able to bend the gravity around them to make it either heavier or lighter, causing objects or people to fall towards another object rather than the surface, flattening a target, and even anchoring oneself to the ground to remove the caster's ability to be stunned or have their attacks interrupted. Due to the power of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, the caster is able to instantly adapt by using their power over gravity in order to and accelerate the dynamic evolutionary process that leads to the adaptation, enhancing their fitness and survival to all forms of gravitational pressure even if the source of which is said to be otherworldly in nature – this allows the caster to survive and adapt to all sorts of environments no matter if there's both high and low gravity; even no gravity, while negating the effects caused by high gravity or weightlessness upon the caster's body no matter the effects they would have, allowing the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic to resist damage from being crushed, smashed, or flattened, as well as move and react normally in non-standard gravity and avoid various physiological problems they can cause. Even if an opponent utilizes another form of gravity-manipulating magic, such as Gravity Magic or Gravity Change, or even a Lost Magic that involves the manipulation of gravity, the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is able to move about and do battle unhindered. In the case of more experienced users, the caster is capable of compressing large amounts of gravity before firing these condensed forces in the form of a rapidly-shifting gravity field which causes objects inside to vibrate rapidly and hence disintegrate – the process creates something that can be considered akin to a sonic weapon that works in space – or more mundanely, a beam of gravitons. In a similar manner to a user of Dragon Slayer Magic harnessing the Ley lines, which are a virtually untapped, raw source of magical power that has filtered through the depths of the earth for years on end, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is also capable of tapping into the Ley lines and more – because of their power to manipulate the Ley lines, a user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is able to alter the terrain in any and every direction in a similar manner to Terrain Effect Magic and Universe One by simulating terraforming, which is the hypothetical process of deliberately modifying the atmosphere, temperature, surface topography or ecology of a world to be similar to the biosphere of Earth or other habitable worlds, in order to make it habitable to other species – all of this is done by sending pulses of gravitational energy through the ground, allowing the caster to change its composition in accordance to their will. However, as the planet itself is the root of the power of gravity, and whether they're conscious of it or not, they borrow it's power every time that they use their power of gravitational manipulation – thus, the more power over gravity that they unleash, the more dangerous it becomes for everyone in the immediate vicinity, themselves included, as their body deteriorates from the massive surge of power continually released into the world.

By using the magic's power of manipulating gravity, the caster is also able to create exposed singularities, a center of a hole and a situation where matter is forced to be compressed to a space-like singularity as well as a situation where certain light rays come from a region with infinite curvature, which is a time-like singularity – this allows the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic to create a black hole, which is a region of space-time exhibiting such strong gravitational effects that nothing—including particles and electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from inside it, as well as a white hole, which itself is a hypothetical region of spacetime which cannot be entered from the outside, although matter and light can escape from it – the former annihilates anything that it comes into contact with, ripping everything apart when they enter a gravitational singularity, and with the latter, the user can let matter and light escape, releasing a blast of energy and matter allowing it to create exposures. By generating a gravitational field, which is the region of space surrounding a body in which another body experiences a force of gravitational attraction, and then wrapping it around their frame, not only does this result in the caster's attack and defense statistics become amplified dramatically in a similar manner to the Iron Dragon's Scales of Iron Dragon Slayer Magic, but it also serves an identical purpose as the Elemental Body spell of Elemental Magic, which allows the caster to transform into their element of choice – indeed, the gravitational field functions as a form of armour of sorts, and anything that the caster comes into contact with while the "armour" known as the gravitational field is equipped to their body is instantly and irrevocably put under the thrall of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, allowing the caster to alter the gravity force of that which they touch, no matter the size of the target, and this also allows them to crush anything that's the boundaries of the gravitational field's area-of-effect – more detail is below in the "Graviton Fist" section. But when the caster is harnessing the might of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, they are capable of transforming gravity within anything no matter if it's organic or inorganic or its size, and from there insert them into a brand new and different gravitational pull, mimicking the creation of a solar system, which is the gravitationally bound system comprising the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. As with most Slayer Magics, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic has virtually unlimited customization options in regards to the gravitational energies which are formed through simple magical manipulation- the colour, properties (not limited to but including heat, smell, and taste), and "feel" is capable of being modified to the user's liking for countless different effects and powers, more often than not being attuned to their own personality and ambitions; their "type" can be changed at will, and they can even be given a material consistency. Typically, the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic releases gravitational energies with blunt properties that produce an effect that's similar to being struck by an anvil or a hard force, allowing the caster to pulverize anything that they come into contact with in a similar manner to Crash; this bestows upon the caster a vast amount of options to attack their enemies with.

Indeed, as one may have guessed from the name of this Slayer Magic, the purpose of Spirit Slayer Magic is to slay the existence referred to as spirits, and thus, the absolute greatest advantage that Spirit Slayer Magic has over the other Slayer Magics is that, unlike many other Slayer Magics, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic can be utilized to kill all sorts of spirits, whether they be "summon beasts" (召喚獣, Shōkanjū), such as Celestial Spirits and its accompanying magic, Elemenian Spirits, Virago Spirits, Shikigami and its accompanying magic, Lemegeton Spirits, Planetary Spirits, Familiars, embodiments of the four fundamental elements, spirits who dwell in the atmosphere, souls of the departed whether reanimated or not, sprites, and even some demons and countless others as the term "spirit" is known to encompass a wide variety of terms, only loosely categorized as "doesn't fit in other races but definitely isn't human, also ghost as fuck". Thus, the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic has their attack and defensive power massively boosted against everything that can be considered to belong to the race of spirits - indeed, as the term "spirit" is open to a vast amount of interpretation, in a manner similar to Devil Slayer Magic, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic could be considered a rare gem in that it can be categorized as an extremely rare and powerful type of subcategory of magic known as a Semantic-Type (意味型, Imi-gata), meaning that it is a supernatural power that can be defined solely by the caster's interpretation of what it governs over, all depending on their wording rather than anything logical—because of this, Spirit Slayer Magic can theoretically affect anything that constitutes a "spirit", allowing for a great deal of stretching of what it is capable of. In that manner, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic could be considered a power akin to that of Memory-Make or Arc of Embodiment, in all three heavily rely on the caster's imagination in order to bring out its full potential- while the former two are simply confined to using the power of creation to forge objects and attacks from the magician's thoughts to do battle, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is only limited by the creativity of the caster, as mentioned before, anything that can be referred to as a "spirit" causes their maneuvers to power up; indeed, this simple concept can be applied to a near countless multitude of unconventional uses as to almost give a Spirit Slayer a distinct advantage in any situation.

As with all forms of Spirit Slayer Magic, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic has virtually unlimited customization options in regards to the element formed through simple magical manipulation and reinforced through the power of a spirit – the colour of the gravitational energies that are produced by the magic is able to be altered freely, its properties which aren't limited to but include temperature, the smell that it emits, its taste, and overall "feel" is capable of being modified to the user's liking for countless different effects and powers, more often than not being attuned to the user's own personality and ambitions; the type of damage that the gravity inflicts upon anything that it comes into contact with is able to be changed at will; in its normal state, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic seems to have a blunt effect to it, seemingly causing severe blunt-force trauma; like all Slayer Magics, the user's element is much tougher than any other example of it; in the case of the user, the gravity which is produced by Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is stronger than normal gravity, capable of shrugging off anything thrown their way, enabling the user to function as a makeshift battering ram. Of course, as the highest form of elemental manipulation around, the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is capable of harnessing their magic in any manner that they deem to be suitable, commonly changing between offensive, defensive, evasive, or supplementary potencies in accordance to the situation at hand; but generally, as long as the Spirit Slayer is able to imagine their element being used in a particular manner and it doesn't break the laws of physics or conflict with any established limitations, then the sky is the limit, more or less. As per the nature of Slayer Magic, a Spirit Slayer is immune to the effects of their own element, and in this case, the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic can consume external sources of gravity to replenish their strength, both stamina-wise and magic-wise. They are also naturally immune to the effects of their own gravity that came from both their own person and to those from other sources, but must consume it through their mouths if they are to actually absorb it into their bodies; while they can't consume the gravity when produced by themselves, it should be taken into consideration that Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic also bestows upon the wielder immunity to effects related to the gravity as well such as protection from having the user's gravity altered. However, while the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic does possess the ability to consume gravity and the like, more specifically, this form of Slayer Magic's regenerative qualities are derived from the consumption of gravitons, which are a hypothetical elementary particle that mediates the force of gravitation in the framework of quantum field theory; as gravitons are considered to be saturated throughout everything within the world, the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is able to replenish their physical and magical power and stamina at any moment, giving them a regeneration source on par with Sky Dragon Slayer Magic or Water Dragon Slayer Magic. Overall, as Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is a fundamental force of the universe, this makes it one of the better forms of Slayer Magic, and in the hands of a skilled user, absolutely devastating.

Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is the main magic of Alyssa Lucifuge, being her primary method of combat, and it was the very first magic that Alyssa managed to learn; as a child, at some point after the Tenrou Disaster, she established a link with the Different Dimension Demon, King Belial (七十二魔公の冥府・重力の黒王者(ディファレント・ディメンション・デーモン・キング・ベリアル), Difarento Dimenshon Dēmon Kingu Beriaru lit. Seventy-Two Demonic Dukes of Hell, Black Monarch of Gravity), a member of the Lemegeton Spirits whom are a series of seventy-two phenomenally powerful eldritch beings with power beyond all compare that possess control over natural phenomena; King Belial has an inclination towards and an absolute dominance over gravity, with King Belial appearing to Alyssa as she was having a nightmare during her younger years, teaching her his exclusive Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic; while the meetings between the two in Alyssa's dreamscape were brief and to the point, King Belial was potentially the only person that Alyssa felt close to and could be considered her adopted parent. Thanks to the foul emotions that rushed through her body during her time walking the streets of Bosco, her magical energies had been influenced by these dark feelings, and because gravity is deeply associated with darkness and vice-versa, this gave a significant boost to her magic's power. Because of this incredible boost in power that's perpetuated by her attitude and the scars that were left by her time in Bosco, Alyssa Lucifuge can be said to be the strongest wielder of Spirit Slayer Magic around with the exception of two others, effortlessly surpassing anyone else; for this reason, her mere presence or arrival upon the battlefields of conflict often signals a decisive end to war in only a matter of moments, her name well-known and feared as it echoes throughout the dimension of Earth Land.

In regards to how she wields her signature magic, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, Alyssa is known to possess a particularly incredible grasp over the fundamentals of gravikinesis (吸と斥結力(グラビキネシス), Gurabikineshisu lit. Attraction and Repulsion Power), with her utilization of gravity manipulation being something that's far beyond the likes of any other potential wielder – casually transcending the likes of the former Guild Ace of Grimoire Heart known as Bluenote Stinger with his Gravity Magic, surpassing Mermaid Heel members Risley Law and Kagura Mikazuchi with their usage of Gravity Change, easily overwhelming the Gold Key Celestial Spirit, Libra, with her usage of Gravity Change as well, Alyssa's skill in regards to gravikinesis effortlessly transcends the likes of anyone and everyone else, being taken to the very next level and even further to the point that it could be said to transcend the concept of "gravikinesis", stepping into the realms of deities of the fundamental forces of the world with ease and even putting them and fellow gravity-element Slayers to shame before the might of Alyssa's power and ingenuity in regards to how she makes use of her gravity manipulation power; indeed, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic was also the power from which her moniker, "Rider of the Heavy Forces" (重力の鉄騎, Jūryoku no Tekki) was derived. From the very beginning of battle, Alyssa aims to invoke Trance as soon as possible by gathering enough energy to complete the charging process, striking out wildly with a variety of gravity-based attacks, darkness constructs, and ordinary sword slashes as well as unarmed strikes, thus bringing her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic to its fullest potential not even a few minutes into the fight. From here, she uses a myriad of powers and effects to keep it in play and ensure that nothing would be able to break her status of being empowered by Trance, constantly remaining at the strongest level possible for a wielder of Spirit Slayer Magic.

Befitting her nature as a proud wielder of an extremely powerful Slayer Magic, Alyssa's fighting style more or less entirely centers around her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, with the other forms of magic that she possesses such as Darkness-Make being customized in order to strengthen her main fighting style – thus, it could be said that Alyssa does not possess several alternative magics, but instead, her alternate magics are hardwired within her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, making them all function in unison to create an overwhelming combat method that excels in all areas. Indeed, as mentioned in the "Darkness-Make" section, Alyssa utilizes her Darkness-Make in a manner not dissimilar to how Ice-Make is automatically infused within Ice Devil Slayer Magic and used in conjunction with that magic to serve a similar purpose as the Photonic Forge power of Photon Dragon Slayer Magic and Crystallos Forge of Crystal Dragon Slayer Magic; while normally, it is nigh-impossible to mold gravity as it's a natural phenomenon by which all physical bodies attract each other and does not possess a tangible form unless influenced by an outside source, since darkness and gravity are generally associated with one another in regards to the various forms of Elemental Magic, Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic and Darkness-Make go hand-in-hand, enabling Alyssa to casually merge the shaping properties and tangibility of this Molding Magic with her Spirit Slayer Magic by means of a Combination Spell, resulting in a self-Unison Raid that fuses certain aspects of both as to shape her gravity into a wide variety of constructs, incidentally bestowing both components of this ability the properties of each other. Commonly manifesting an aura of gravitational energies upon her Archenemy or upon her limbs, the installation of these powers dramatically enhances the pulverization power of her strikes as anything Alyssa comes into contact with is subjected to incredible torrent of gravity before it breaks apart.

Commonly increasing the gravity of those in the vicinity as if by instinct to render them barely-mobile shells of their former selves, thus leaving them open to a calamitous onslaught of strikes, while removing her own gravity through a method that's not dissimilar to Gravity Change, Alyssa has displayed that she is more than capable of high-speed flight, racing throughout the vicinity at velocities that are close to the speed of light with her opponents helpless in the face of her overwhelming onslaughts. Encasing herself in an invisible armour of gravitational energy, Alyssa is able to fortify her innate fragility and thus removing any weaknesses her fighting style may have possessed previously, and by manipulating the direction and force of gravity, Alyssa is able to induce an effect that's not dissimilar to Telekinesis, pushing objects away from her as well as pulling them towards her – her control over gravity really shining in this instance, Alyssa is able to affect the gravity of anyone she deems suitable to be a target before activating this power, casually flinging them around as if they were ragdolls, their bodies subject to the incredible might of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic. Tapping into the Ley lines in order to alter the terrain around her, Alyssa is capable of modifying the fundamental structures of Earth Land in a manner that's not dissimilar to Universe One, inducing terraforming as to shake up the battlefield and make things far more hectic for those in the vicinity, often altering the world to give her a certain advantage over her enemies – it's said that Alyssa's skill in doing so rivals or even surpasses a user of Enchantment in regards to terraforming. Overall, the consolidation of Alyssa's incredible speed, battle prowess, and her Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic makes for an exceedingly deadly combination.

Subspecies Abilities
  • Gravity Change (重力変化, Jūryoku Henka): Gravity Change is a Caster Magic and a Subspecies Magic of Gravity Magic which allows the caster to alter the gravity of a person, either themselves or someone else. While normally, Gravity Change is a standalone magic, however, in the case of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, Gravity Change is integrated directly into its magic structure in a similar manner to the Photonic Forge power of Photon Dragon Slayer Magic and Ice-Make with Ice Devil Slayer Magic – unlike the former examples however, Gravity Change is a permanently activated power which isn't used for forging structures of the signature element of the Slayer Magic, but rather, it's a supplementary skill that allows the caster to lower the gravity of their target, enabling them to walk on walls, or raise the target's gravity, rendering them incapable of moving. The user can also change their body figure temporarily by using this, and by increasing or decreasing the gravity of anything around the caster, they are able to leap about with abandon. It can also be used to alter the gravity of a person, either themselves or someone else, allowing both the user and the enemy to levitate or become suspended in midair, or slow their movements down to a crawl or even to divert the course of natural phenomena around the user, such as rain. Users can lower the target's gravity, enabling them to walk on walls, or raise the target's gravity, rendering them incapable of moving. When pulsed outwards, Gravity Change allows the user to cause great damage to the targeted place, prompting the ground to crack and cave in, and makes it difficult for anyone within it aside from the caster to move or even stand. Most individuals get smashed to the ground and held there by the force of Gravity Change, however, those who possess large amounts of magical power are known to be capable of standing normally even while under its effect. By manipulating their control over gravitational forces using Gravity Change, the caster is capable of invoking anti-gravity, which is the idea of creating a place or object that is free from the force of gravity; effectively removing the forces of gravity from wherever they deem it to be suitable, with no real limitations to where it can induced as gravity is a fundamental force of the universe. Typically, the caster is able to focus this property upon their own body to enable high-speed movements and leaps that allow them to vault over all sorts of buildings, but they can also use it to dramatically decrease the gravity in area, making moving difficult for anyone in it, possibly causing people to float or leap great distances involuntarily.
  • Graviton Fist (大重と小軽鋭化接近戦(グラビテトン・フィスト), Gurabiton Fisuto lit. Small-Light Violent Change Close Combat): Graviton Fist is a subspecies ability of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic that allows the caster to pulverize anything that they come into contact with in a similar manner to Crash by using their power over gravity to disperse a target's gravitational binding energy and thus the interaction that holds protons to neutrons, the gravitational binding energy is the minimum energy that must be added to a system for the system to cease being in a gravitationally bound state, which is a state where a particle is subject to a potential such that the particle has a tendency to remain localized in one or more regions of space. Using the processes of Gravity Change in order to alter the gravity around one of their extremities of a weapon they're holding, the gravity around their limb or tool becomes pressurized and enhanced with arcane energies, constantly pressurizing gravity and magic of the user's own body that surrounds them in order to reach the point where any impact causes pulverization. Because the immense pressure causes the movement of the gravitational energies to become so aggressive that everything is overwhelmed by it, because the immense pressure causes the movement of the gravitational energies to become so aggressive that everything is overwhelmed by it. Indeed, whenever the caster strikes out now, they are able to disperse the target's minimum energy that must be added to a system for the system to cease being in a gravitationally bound state, which is a state where a particle is subject to a potential such that the particle has a tendency to remain localized in one or more regions of space. At the exact moment that the pressurized gravitational energies which have their very existence becoming superimposed over the structural formations of anything that their affected limb comes into contact with, the sheer density of which envelops the atoms and molecules that compose the caster's target no matter if it is organic or inorganic with the caster manipulating the interaction that holds protons to neutrons through the strong force that binds atomic nuclei together, the pressurized energies annihilating the target of choice without any mercy as their gravitational binding energy is dispersed – all of this happens within the blink of an eye, and it can be inferred from this incredible process that anything that the caster comes into contact with is busted into innumerable fragments, more than living up to this skill's touted power. In terms of combat capabilities, Graviton Fist is best suited for close-range battles, with the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic focusing this enormously destructive power infusing the pressurized gravitational energies in order to be used against an opponent to attack, this subspecies ability is capable of sending anything that the wielder's attack comes into contact with flying several meters with incredible force if not annihilating them outright. This process is further amplified by the caster's ability to use Gravity Change in order to alter the gravity of a person, allowing the caster to repulse anything that they come into contact with alongside incredible force, and crushing an enemy to smithereens via increasing gravity tremendously upon impact, or by decreasing gravity, the caster's strikes can send them careening through the air and into another continent – this process is deemed to be a combination of physical might and gravitational power, making the caster strong enough to easily crush solid earth, and can even be used to destroy other forms of magic with a tangible form, crushing them into nothingness with a dramatically increased gravitational pull downwards. This results in a strength that can be classified as "beyond superhuman" as well as durability that's equivalent to that; as an arcane power which is best geared towards unleashing absolute devastation upon anyone and anything that the wielder deems as a suitable target, Graviton Fist could better be classified as something akin to a "touch of death" as anything that the user of the magic comes into contact with is mercilessly pulverized, effectively making the user an embodiment of a wasteland of a sort. Not only does Graviton Fist's ability to instantly decay and disintegrate all forms of organic and inorganic matter by touch, but it also works just as well on supernatural forces such as Magic and Curses – by harnessing this power's inherent nature of being able to crush anything it comes into contact with, the user is able to nullify the effects of certain magics which possess a tangible form simply through smashing them to pieces, as not only does its disintegration power break down regular atomic structures, it can also break down the binding forces between Eternano and magical power, causing spells and the like launched in the direction of the caster to wither and quickly become reduced to naught but fragments of supernatural particles which scatter to the winds within a matter of seconds upon contact with the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic. A full body version of this effect is able to be simulated by the caster surrounding themselves in a gravitational field.

Gravity Spirit's Harangue being used to annihilate an opponent.

Gravity Spirit's Harangue (厳霊の説教, Genrei no Sekkyō): Gravity Spirit's Harangue is a basic Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell, and a variant of the Spirit's Harangue spell which is the Spirit Slayer's equivalent to the Dragon Slayer's Roar and God Slayer's Bellow spells, attuned to the element of gravity as per the nature of this magic, incorporating the element of gravitational energy to produce a black blast of energy from the caster's mouth which is accompanied powerful gravitational field that can effortlessly level anything it comes into contact with. In any case, when casting Gravity Spirit's Harangue, the user utilizes their enhanced lung capacity in order to gather and condense ambient eternano from within the atmosphere and store it momentarily within their mouth- from here, the user attunes the eternano gathered by merging them with their energy in order to induce the usual fusion to being power into the current realm; this results in the user of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic using the prior sequence to render the magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, giving them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles. At this point, the caster draws more and more gravitational energies into their variable maws from which no flying, talking cats have ever seen the light of day until they have gathered enough to the point that just by propelling it outwards, they could cause a bombardment of radiance that covers an entire continent. Once this is done, in order to unleash the magical energy, the user utilizes the spirit's equivalent of vocal cords which produce a louder and harsher sound while amplifying anything emitted from their mouth tremendously, resulting in a massive blast of energy spewing forth from the user's mouth towards the target; in the case of Gravity Spirit's Harangue, which, of course, as its name would suggest, is based around gravity, this has the effect of unleashing a truly enormous gravitational field in the form of a pulsing black beam that moves about in a spiralling motion, barreling down and piercing through the opponent at the speed of gravity while the gravitational field releases a powerful pressure that crushes anything within the vicinity to pieces; the user is able to fire the attack very quickly, while maintaining precise aim- due to Gravity Spirit's Harangue moving at the speed of gravity, it can be inferred that this spell both starts and ends in a split second. The whiplash of the attack can be quite huge, usually blowing apart anything behind the user at the time of attack. The beam is powerful enough to strike multiple enemies and even two adjacent foes simultaneously; violently pushing the intended opponent and objects around them away from the user with overwhelming blunt force; the release of Gravity Spirit's Harangue also crushes incoming attack spells while also destroying anything unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity of the spell's trajectory with intense gravity. The user has mastered this spell to such a level that they can modify its shape, range, etc. If they want to focus it into a stream, they can with frightening ease by spreading out the energy before it is kneaded and converted into gravitational energy; and they can transform it into a chaotic set of spiraling gravitational energies by distorting and randomly converging and separating the energy that is required to create the technique. The sheer force produced by the activation sequence of the spell requires about three seconds in order to travel a fifty thousand-kilometer distance, and the user can immediately fire a successive Gravity Spirit's Harangue after confirming a miss, but after fifty attacks, they will run out of magical energy.

Gravity Spirit's Heavy Fist in action.

Gravity Spirit's Heavy Fist (厳霊の重拳, Genrei no Jūken): Gravity Spirit's Heavy Fist is a Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell where the caster engulfs their fist in a gravitational field accompanied by gravitational energy and simply strikes the opponent with a gravity-enhanced punch, shattering defenses and sending the enemy careening. In any case, when performing Gravity Spirit's Heavy Fist, the caster focuses their energies intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, all focused around one or more of their fists. From here, the user throws their fist forward with all of their might, with their hand of choice crossing their body in a straight line, racing towards the target like a bullet, with the user transferring their weight from their rear foot to their leading foot as their hips, torso, and their shoulder are rotated as to bolster the blow- but not only this, augmenting the strike further is the fact that the user throws the punch while rotating their arm, resulting in the punch being strengthened throughout their entire body, effectively turning the blow into a spear that can penetrate through anything, with bog-standard guards from another martial artist to even supernatural-derived defenses which could possibly be reinforced massively through high-density particle concentrations. The fist rotates ever-so-slightly, simulating the effect of a drill piercing through stone and bedrock to reach its destination as it flies forth with a swift, bullet-esque motion that appears almost untraceable to the untrained eye and can be thrown towards the target from near-all positions imaginable – unavoidable, the gravity-compressed fist impacts with extreme prejudice while producing a force considered akin to being struck in the face with an solid iron anvil; not only does the gravitational forces released from the movement repel anything that the caster is in close proximity such as crushing opposing incoming spells and rending alloys in twain, the properties of Graviton Fist allow the caster to induce the dispersal of the target's gravitational binding energy, which is the minimum energy that must be added to a system for the system to cease being in a gravitationally bound state, replicating an effect similar to the Crash spell known as Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Empyrean, with the time that expires between the activation phase, the strike itself, and the impact is close to even less than half of a second, and if anything supernatural obstructs the user's path, then their gravity-imbued fist will simply rend it in twain – to an outsider, this appears as if the user has made the slightest of movements forward and from there, the enemy was struck with the force of a cannon shell, being sent careening across the landscape near-instantly.
  • Gravity Spirit's Bellowing Feet (厳霊の蹈鞴, Genrei no Tatara): Gravity Spirit's Bellowing Feet is a supplementary Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell that's similar to the Accellight power of Photon Dragon Slayer Magic; but in this case, Gravity Spirit's Bellowing Feet allows the caster to move at the speed of gravity, zipping around in the air at unimaginable velocities; waltzing around without any hindrances – the speed of gravity is equal to the speed of light. In any case, when inducing Gravity Spirit's Bellowing Feet, the caster focuses their energies intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, all focused around their feet, giving off the visage of their feet becomes masses of dark energy; this allows the caster to become lighter than a feather to ignore the fundamental forces of gravity, suspending themselves within the air by hovering in place. Once this is done, the caster harnesses the gravitational energies centered upon their feet to jet-propel themselves either on land or in the sky at astounding speeds in any direction that they desire, easily surpassing a High Speed user and even outrunning a Slowing Magic magician; the speeds that the caster darts about the atmosphere are at the speed of gravity, which is said to be equivalent to the speed of light, easily matching the Accellight spell of light-based Slayer Magics such as White Dragon Slayer Magic, Lunar Dragon Slayer Magic, and Photon Dragon Slayer Magic, which moves at light-speeds – the speed of gravity means that if the Sun suddenly disappeared, the Earth would keep orbiting it normally for eight minutes, which is the time light takes to travel that distance. Once they begin levitating and induce Gravity Spirit's Bellowing Feet, the caster is capable of moving about as if they were flying at incredible speeds; they can even shoot up vertical surfaces; moving dozens upon dozens of times faster than somebody using teleportation-based magic while maintaining flight for extremely long periods of time, travelling long distances at an incredible pace, travelling at a speed almost too swift for the naked eye to be able to see properly. Even if someone could detect the trajectory of their movements, it is considered to be nearly impossible to catch the user, as with their speed, the user is capable of assaulting their opponents with quick, but powerful, melee attacks. The user can also enhance their already swift flight speed by riding on strong gusts of wind, and can slow or deflect falls by creating cushions of air. When used in the heat of battle, Gravity Spirit's Bellowing Feet causes the user to appear as if they are simply flowing around their opponents without expending any energy at all, letting the opponent tire themselves out and thus creating exploitable openings.
  • MultiGravOrbPer

    Multiple Gravity Orbs rising.

Gravity Orb (厳霊の変使球(グラビティ・オーブ), Gurabiti Ōbu lit. Gravity Spirit's Variable-Usage Orbs): Gravity Orb is a Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell which allows the caster to form tangible orbs of gravity which are then capable of being modified to suit almost any situation or transition into miniature exposed singularities, dealing incredible damage no matter its form. When performing Gravity Orb, the caster focuses their energies intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, using Shape Transformation in order to bestow upon these gravitational energies a tangible form which is then molded into the visage of a quarter of hand-size spheres of gravity which pulsate black and purple, beginning to whirl behind the caster's back in a circular formation at variable speeds when not in use. The caster can alter the shape of the Gravity Orbs by thought alone in order to serve almost innumerable purposes, whether they be for offense, defense, and other supplementary uses, and they are on a constant standby once manifested, though they can also be dismissed whenever the caster deems it to be suitable, and they cannot create additional orbs after the initial acquisition number; as four is the absolute limit, since they still require enough focus and energy to move around and fight as normal while still maintaining the consistency and power of the Gravity Orbs. The user is capable of controlling the Gravity Orbs one-by-one or all at once- no matter the control manner, the caster can shape the spheres through mental commands alone into countless forms- effectively the sky is the limit for what the Gravity Orbs can be transformed into, transforming them in accordance to the current situation and their willpower in a similar manner to that of Molding Magic, generating not only weaponry, but multiple dynamic creations that can blitz an opponent and function akin to Familiars. No matter the form and composition, the Gravity Orbs are widely known to be exceptionally powerful- just by colliding with a solid, non-living structure; a single ball is capable of reducing it to dust through an inducement of incredible gravitational pressure, also transitioning into exposed singularities, a center of a hole and a situation where matter is forced to be compressed to a space-like singularity as well as a situation where certain light rays come from a region with infinite curvature, which is a time-like singularity, transforming the Gravity Orbs into a black hole as well as a white hole. They can be directed as projectiles which close in on the user's targets like bullets, and if the caster deems it suitable, they can grant them explosive properties by having them rapidly expand- on the opposite end, they can be used to heal the caster's own injuries just by contact. However, for all its strengths, Gravity Orbs has two weaknesses- for one, the caster is only capable of controlling the orbs of gravitational energies within one hundred meters of their own location, meaning that once either the user or the spheres are out of range, they will vanish. Additionally, each transformation into a different object can only last for a full minute before they revert back to their sphere form.
    • LucifereonBreaker

      Alyssa, firing Extension: Dark Bead.

Extension: Dark Bead (追加攻撃・縦続重光線陣(エクステンション・ダーク・ビーズ), Ekusutenshon: Dāku Bīzu lit. Additional Attack: Cascading Gravity Beam Array): Extension: Dark Bead is a Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell which, as the name would ever-so-subtly indicate, is an extension of the Gravity Orb spell; Extension: Dark Bead allows the caster to focus one or more of the spheres of gravitational energy summoned through the latter spell into the form of a vicious barrage of gravitational beams launched in a similar manner to that of a shotgun. In any case, when performing Extension: Dark Bead, after having cast Gravity Orb already, the caster then focuses their energies intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, channeling these gravitational energies into preexisting Gravity Orbs, causing a built-up compression of gravitational energies which is then released in the form of six lasers of gravity with a tornado of energy swirling around them in order to attack the target; all launched in a roughly sixty degree angle in front of the caster, travelling a good distance for several thousand kilometers. These lasers move and take aim at the target according to the user's will, allowing the user to fire without having to even touch them; they are shot with enough force to repel a high-powered elemental spell while emitting immense amount of gravitational pressure that can crush anything within its way. When the user harnesses the power of Extension: Dark Bead, it is not uncommon to see a flurry of dark lasers materializing out of thin air and disappearing just as quickly, flying and attacking rapidly from many angles at once; overall overwhelming the foe; or at least, placing tremendous pressure upon them, forcing them to keep their defenses up lest they be struck by a blast—causing dozens of other beams to perforate them in a matter of moments. Upon contact with anything a single Dark Bead laser is capable of splitting into many smaller beams; which is powerful enough to slice through metal with ease, and are seen to take down two attacking aircraft by cutting them apart. Upon contact with the opponent Dark Bead deals high stamina reduction if it hits a blocking opponent; the spell is potent when multiple beads are able to hit, making it more deadly against individual opponents at close range, with the end result of the spell resembling a bombing raid that leaves the ground scorching red.
    • Extension: Gravity Defenser (追加攻撃・魔関の重力(エクステンション・グラビティ・ディフェンサー), Ekusutenshon: Gurabiti Difensā lit. Additional Attack: Magic Barrier of Gravitational Power): Extension: Gravity Defenser is a Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell which, as the name would ever-so-subtly indicate, is an extension of the Gravity Orb spell; Extension: Gravity Defenser allows the caster to focus one or more of the spheres of gravitational energy summoned through the latter spell into the form of a purple and black force field that surrounds their body from all conceivable directions as a protective shield; Extension: Gravity Defenser reverses any oncoming physical-based vector coming towards the field that protects their entire body, summarized as "Gravity Magic meets Defenser". In any case, when performing Extension: Gravity Defenser, the caster focuses intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, channeling these gravitational energies into preexisting Gravity Orbs, causing a built-up compression of gravitational energies which is then released in the form of a geodesic dome, made of tessellating hexagons and gravitational energy. This shield, mimicking Defenser itself, providing the caster protection against physical attacks and projectiles, even things such as shrapnel—and the defenses provided by this spell is sufficient to be impenetrable to most conventional weaponry – its might comes from it being effectively a simulated gravitational field that possesses incredible power that's capable of crushing anything that comes into contact with the barrier, smashing everything to atoms through sheer pressure. Extension: Gravity Defenser protects the caster from nearly any sort of attack, and it is said with it, they can withstand a nuclear missile, shock-wave, heat, and radiation. Extension: Gravity Defenser enables the caster to break free of an opponent's grip by pushing the field outward to force the opponent away while also hitting them with their Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic; disrupting any attempt to bind the caster or even restrict the caster's movements, though, on the flip side, the caster is capable of rendering an opponent immobile by extending the destructive field as long as they are both standing on the same ground.
Intermediate Spells
  • Gravitime (厳霊の時間鈍化(グラビテタイム), Gurabitaimu lit. Gravity Spirit's Time Slowing): Gravitime is an advanced Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell which allows the caster to create a gravitational singularity that generates intense gravity and relative speed, causing a time dilation which slows down nearby opponents (including any who did not attack) dramatically for up to four seconds, leaving them open to a counterattack. In any case, when performing Gravitime, the caster focuses intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, as the caster pulses their gravitational energies outwards while tapping into Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic's power to channel the might of the earth, the caster affects the spherical dimension of Earth Land that's fundamental to the power of gravity, subsequently rotating the numerous formations of Earth Land at insurmountable velocities in a singular direction, simulating the effect of a gravitational singularity, which is a location where the quantities that are used to measure the gravitational field of a celestial body become infinite in a way that does not depend on the coordinate system. This allows the caster to produce a time dilation effect, as described by the theory of relativity that distorts time to such an extent that it is approximately five times slower than that of what's normally observed, not only slowing the opponents' perception of time, but also slowing the movements of their bodies, overall slowing down the passage of time to a fraction of its normal pace, thus enabling the caster to bypass their opponent's defenses and execute combinations of attacks and other feats that would otherwise be impossible. Activation of Gravitime results in an incredible sharpening of the five senses, making it seem as while the speed of their opponents has been slowed, the caster's speed has been enhanced, bestowing upon the caster to not only the ability to recognize the world, but also boost their physical abilities to the greatest limits and move freely within the four seconds in which Gravitime affects the world, leaving the opponent open to a counterattack; however, if the caster flinches during the effects, it wears off immediately. The duration of the slowdown varies based on the victim's damage percentage and how frequently the spell is used, which can reduce the slowdown time to as low as only half a second, regardless of whether it's successful or not. The move will fully recharge after thirty seconds without use. However, similarly to Slowing Magic, the range of the Gravitime is limited, which means that only people and objects within a certain range of the user are affected by this spell. Anything outside the range is unaffected by Gravitime and the people inside of the range, view things outside of it as moving extremely fast. In addition, anything that originated from outside of the user's area-of effect will retain its normal speed even if it enters their area-of-effect afterwards. It is believed that Gravitime is the reason why Alyssa has retained her youthful appearance despite her actual age, due to the subconscious release of the energy associated with this spell since her youth.
  • AlyssaNecroBlade

    Alyssa utilizing Necroedge.

Necroedge (死者行軍刃(ネクロエッジ), Nekuroejji lit. March of the Dead Blade): Necroedge is the signature Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell of Alyssa Lucifuge – it is solely unique to her, and her alone. Necroedge is often mistaken to be an Ancient Spell (古代魔法(エンシェント・スペル), Enshento Superu lit. Magic from Ancient Times)—it is usually been stated to be akin to the Black Arts or a Curse—though information regarding the latter is known to be extremely thin. In reality, Necroedge is definitely a Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell, albeit assisted by her dark magical aura and her blade, even though it's often confused with the likes of Necromancy as they both look incredibly similar when executed, however, that is not the case as this spell projects an image of what the user believes to be the person through the darkness that they conjugate. In any case, when inducing Necroedge, the caster focuses their energies intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, channeling these gravitational energies into the ground while they harness the ability of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic to tap into the Ley lines, which are located all around Earth Land; Ley Lines are alignments between places of magical power – known as a wellspring of life, while tapping into the Ley lines, the caster takes certain memories from the earth as they conjugate an entire body away from their very being that is made from the dark energy that they control; the created body being entirely black and gives off a feeling of malefic intention as though it wishes that which tries to oppose its creator. The user will then proceed to draw on the memories of a person that they have encountered in the past or present, sending all the knowledge that they know of said person into the created being; what the person looks, how they act from the user's perspective and anything else they know. This procedure will cause the being to transform into an exact replica of the person that they were thinking about. This replication has the skills, abilities, and magical powers of the original if the user can imagine them all—all completely bound to the user's will. The further the replication is from its user, the weaker it becomes, with most only being capable of acting within three meters; it is usually bound to the user's body, but exceptions are abound, as the user can bind the apparition to any inanimate object that they wish, in order to ensure for better protection. As the beings summoned by Necroedge are just images created by energy, the users are able to shrink them, mostly to enter the body of the opponent and attack its inside. Staying small, however, is very hard and is incredibly taxing on the user's magical energy. Most replications have no personal goals, serving their master without question; though some replications show personality, speaking to others besides their master, but most still serve their master without question. Their bases are very similar to the concepts of thoughtforms, being a manifestation of mental and spiritual energy of an individual into a semi-sentient and existent being. By binding the replication to Alyssa's will, she is able to force it to serve as a 'guardian' of sorts—not only to protect herself from attacks, but also to fight for her when needed. It can even move and fight like her also, with the similar amount of strength as its wielder; due to the user's magical power giving it extra strength. When this is done, the replication is linked to that person's mind and is easily replaceable, should something happen. The avatar form cannot harness any of the original's powers; due to this connection—which is why they only fight for five minutes at a time so that they do not break down into mere magical energy. It's revealed that whenever the user's replication is destroyed, the origin's real body takes damage and it is implied that if their replication is destroyed enough times, it can potentially drain their magical energy massively. However, the main weakness to this ability is that when utilizing this, for stronger attacks, they cannot use or move their body and has to have someone guard them so that they won't be harmed. In addition, this unique property also makes the user and her replication much harder to grab (when one gets grabbed, the partner can simply counterattack, making them immune to chain-grabs), and conversely allows them to have a superior offense. However, they can easily be separated by strong enough attacks. The user and her spirit are great at dealing damage when together, have decent attack speed, and possess a few interesting attacks in their arsenal.
Trance
  • GravitySSGeistCharge

    Crusher White, Alyssa's Manifesto-Type Trance.

Trance: Crusher White (謎霊幽力演・獄重力我巨人保護者(トランス・クラッシャー・ホワイト), Toransu: Kurasshā Howaito lit. Mysterious Spirit Ethereal Power Amplification - The Refined Gravity Colossus Defender): Trance, formerly referred to as Geist Charge (開眼態(ガイスト・チャージ), Gaisuto Chāji lit. Spiritual Awakening State), is an uncategorized Spirit Slayer Magic spell that's an Magic-amplification technique and equivalent to Dragon Slayer Magic's Drive; Trance brings out the true power of their capabilities as a user of Spirit Slayer Magic, excluding the power boost granted by Spirit Force, yet, at the same time, seemingly enhancing the user's physical prowess to a rather extreme degree. Indeed, as there's only one generation of Spirit Slayer Magic so to speak, unlike its draconic equivalent, Drive, which is exclusive to Third-Generation Dragon Slayers, due to Spirit Slayer Magic being incompatible with Lacrima, the magic crystalline substance found on both Earth Land and Edolas which can be used to implant various forms of magic, Trance is known to be capable of being harnessed by any user of Spirit Slayer Magic as long as they possess the power necessary to induce its effects and the knowledge of how to do so. The iteration of Trance that comes automatically equipped within Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic is known as Trance: Crusher White; as the prefix and the kanji would indicate, Trance: Crusher White involves the caster synchronizing their mind and body with the spirit that taught them and allowing them to these summon spirits to encompass their existence. When invoking the power of Trance: Crusher White, the caster focuses the energies that are dwelling within their frame intently, as they begin to surge the arcane powers within themselves outwards into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles; from here, after obtaining enough magical power to transform, the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic focuses their magical power, establishing a connection with their spirit teacher, no matter the distance between the two and the dimensional differences before the wielder of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic summons the spirit whom taught them to the current dimension using their spiritual link. Once this is done, the user utilizes their spiritually-attuned Magic Origin as a medium for their spirit teacher - Crusher White is a Manifesto-Type (幽傀儡型(マニフェスト・タイプ), Manifesuto Taipu lit. Ghost Puppet Type); a Trance in the form of the user's elemental power that is manifested in a physical form that acts on its own; because of this, the user does not need to lift a finger to strike; their gravitational energies will do it for them. While the Manifesto-Type resembles any sort of summoning magic, it's an extension of the user rather than a separate entity; the Manifesto-Type hovers around the Spirit Slayer in a similar manner to that of a wraith; hovering behind and above the user while usually being invisible to those unaware of them. The Manifesto-Type can attack in tandem with the user, bolstering their strength significantly while working as a medium to cast higher-powered spells. Crusher White is the sixth member of the Grimoire Five (五大現巨人保護者(グリモア・ファイブ), Gurimoa Faibu lit. Five Great Elemental Embodiment Colossus Defenders), which are, well, as the designation would indicate, Manifesto-Type Trances whom are an embodiment of the five fundamental elements of nature. They are known to manifest only in exceptionally powerful and determined individuals, with, as their sub-name would indicate, there only being five in existence- once a previous owner dies, their Trance will reincarnate in somebody else. The power of the group is unmatched by any other Trance type and even summon spirit, except for spirit king-class beings. They have the ability to consume their element to further enhance their own power; this can be from any source, such as Lost Magic and Slayer Magic. Crusher White takes upon the form of a large demonic humanoid which is, well, a pristine white in texture. Its large arms also function as white claws, and its body glows with a bright heavenly blue light which constantly seeps out from its gigantic body. Its feet and arms are covered in sleek, silver machinery, and its head is fashioned into the shape of a mask of sorts, along with glowing red eyes – between the two large pillars emanating from Crusher White's back is a small black hole that never seems to go out of control. Crusher White protects the user, like a guardian, sometimes using their powers without direct orders in order to protect the user, and by extension, themselves. As Crusher White is part of the user, damage is reflected between the two. In most circumstances, if the spirit's leg is sliced off, the user will lose their leg as well; essentially making it a larger target to a sufficiently stronger opponent. The further Crusher White is from its user, the weaker it becomes, with most only being capable of acting within three meters. As Crusher White is just an image created by the user's gravitational energies, the user is able to shrink them, mostly to enter the body of the opponent and attack its inside. Staying small, however, is very hard and is incredibly taxing on their magical energy. Crusher White copies the movements of the user to devastating effect, allowing it to deal out colossal amounts of damage; and in addition to its overwhelming strength, despite its enormous size, it is also deceptively fast, as it instantly copies all of the user's movements.
    • Gravity Magic (重力の魔法 Jūryoku no Mahō): Gravity Magic is a Caster Magic which allows the user to can control gravity, by increasing or decreasing the gravity of anything around them. When performing Gravity Magic, the caster gathers magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws- in the case of Gravity Magic, this grants the user complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles. In regards to the effects of gravity in Earth Land, gravity gives weight to physical objects and causes the tides. Gravity has an infinite range, although its effects become increasingly weaker on farther objects. In order to use Gravity Magic, the caster increases the power of gravity or decreases it, mimicking a gravitational pull or push in some way. This can be achieved via various gestures and movements of the hand, such as simply spreading both arms with the index and middle fingers of both hands splayed, or by thrusting one hand towards the target, palm facing forward. It can also be utilized without any hand movements at all, such as when the user's arms are crossed. Gravity Magic has a large range of offensive and defensive properties. The user can freely increase or decrease the gravity of anything around them, rendering most frontal assaults virtually useless- Gravity Magic can be harnessed to alter the terrain in any and every direction. This Magic is strong enough to easily crush solid earth, and can even be used to destroy other forms of magic with a tangible form, crushing them into nothingness in a way not dissimilar to that of Crash. The user can also change their body figure temporarily by using Gravity Magic. Finally, in the case of more experienced users, the caster is capable of compressing large amounts of gravity before firing these condensed forces in the form of a beam of gravity which carries the effects of normal uses of the magic. Overall, as Gravity Magic is a fundamental force of the universe, this makes it one of the better common magics around, and in the hands of a skilled user, absolutely devastating.
      • GravitySSGeistChargeGravMagic

        Crusher White using Black Hole.

Black Hole (超重力球(ブラック・ホール), Burakku Hōru, lit. Super Gravity Sphere): Black Hole is a powerful Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic spell that's also one of the Trance spells, activated through synergy with the caster's own Trance – in any case, Black Hole involves the caster manifesting, well, a black hole, which is a gravitational field with such an incredibly high density that even light cannot escape. In any case, when performing Black Hole, the caster focuses intently, gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, condensing gravitational energies at a singular point to shape it into the form of a dense black sphere which itself affects the surrounding gravity even more than usual by causing gravity within a certain range to collapse inward, pulling in objects and eradicating them – unlike the regular Gravity Magic spell known as Black Hole as displayed by Bluenote Stinger, this spell generates an actual black hole, using the star in-between the pillars protruding from Crusher White's back as a focal point. Within the center of this black hole lies a gravitational singularity, a region where the spacetime curvature becomes infinite – the orb appears to be incredibly dense, holding a tremendous amount of gravity to crush the opponent as it rapidly grows in size and also gains small white lights inside it, similar to the night sky. The orb creates a gravitational field around itself, drawing in everything in the vicinity, gradually getting larger, as well as growing stronger and stronger. The Black Hole possesses immense attraction force, and is thus capable of attracting everything in a wide area towards itself, gradually getting larger, as well as growing stronger and stronger, drawing them in via overwhelming gravitational pull which never ceases, only becoming more and more powerful as moments pass, creating a swirling vortex that pulls in and "devours" any and all objects in the vicinity, subsequently sucking it up, before the user takes aim at their true target, unleashing the orb towards them at high speeds, tracking the foe's magical energy signature before it impacts; grinding into the foe. Within the spell's range of pull, loose magic energy of a lower level than the caster is unable to escape being pulled in and destroyed considering the gravitational pull of Black Hole is directly proportional to the amount of magic energy that is placed within the spell – at its highest point, everything within a four kilometer radius is affected by the thrall of Black Hole, being sucked up like a vacuum and absorbing present within the surrounding area, trapping it inside with no possibility to break free of their own accord – at this point, anything that's been put under the effect of Black Hole is rent asunder by the immense gravitational collapse.
Advanced Spells

Of course, like every other Slayer Magic, a Spirit Slayer has access to "finishing moves", the advanced spells of a Spirit Slayer are known as Spirit Slayer's Secret Arts (滅霊奥義, Metsurei Ōgi); which are generally much more powerful than basic techniques. All Spirit Slayer's Secret Arts boast overwhelming power, being dubbed the "ultimate spear" of a Spirit Slayer; however, they usually cost a large amount of magical energy to properly cast. However, in addition to these "finishing moves", when in any powered up state, a Spirit Slayer can harness Oversoul Arts (滅霊奥義・改(オーバーソウ・アート), Ōbasōru Āto lit. Spirit Slayer's Revised Secret Arts), which are further enhanced to the point that it is said that even the weakest spell can smash through anything unfortunate enough to be in its path.

  • GravityCorridor

    Graviga: Decimation Corridor.

Graviga: Decimation Corridor (万有引力・黒監獄の時空圧(グラビガ・デシメーション・コリドー), Gurabiga: Deshimēshon Koridō lit. Universal Gravitation: Black Prison of Time-Space Pressure): Graviga: Decimation Corridor is a powerful Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic which is one of the Spirit Slayer's Secret Arts, the strongest spells of a Spirit Slayer – Graviga: Decimation Corridor is an exceptionally strong attack where the caster manifests a localized black hole trap with enough power to warp time and space within it, absolutely annihilating anything caught within the trap. In any case, when performing Graviga: Decimator Corridor, the caster focuses their energies intently, gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, using their might over gravity to unleash a powerful stream of gravitational energy which will draw in the nearest objects and crush them until their existence is no longer noticeable, before shaping these gravitational energies into the form of multiple boxes which possess a black texture, each topped with cross-shaped purple spears that continuously multiply to the point that they become vast enough to cover almost several meters in length, enough to overshadow the area in which the caster is situated in. From here, the multitude of boxes close in upon the caster's target – the spears which are embedded within the multitude of boxes pierce the boxes, lacerating anything and anyone that's trapped within Graviga: Decimation Corridor's area-of-effect – this not only triggers an immense gravitational pressure from the inside that utterly pulverizes anything within, but as per the effects of an exposed gravitational singularity, a center of a hole where matter is forced to be compressed to a point and a situation where certain light rays come from a region with infinite curvature, everything within has its time and space regressed while it is vaporized into nothingness.

    Graviga: Meteorain.

Graviga: Meteorain (万有引力・巨星墜つ極楽(グラビガ・メテオレイン), Gurabiga: Meteorein lit. Universal Gravitation: Fall of Great Stars from Paradise): Graviga: Meteorain is a powerful Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic which is one of the Spirit Slayer's Secret Arts, the strongest spells of a Spirit Slayer – Graviga: Meteorain involves the caster using their power over gravity in order to summon an unholy meteor from the upper atmosphere to crash down upon the earth, annihilating everything within its path - in a way, Graviga: Meteorain can be considered akin to the Heavenly Body Magic spell known as Sema, albeit infinitely more powerful, if that were even possible. In any case, when performing Graviga: Meteorain, the caster focuses intently, gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, channeling these gravitational energies into the form of an immense pulse of gravity which releases an incredible gravitational pull that affects space, dragging a rocky/metallic body which travels through outer space known as a meteor under its thrall. Emitting immense gravitational forces, the caster begins to drag the meteor downwards – in the process, coating it with a layer of gravitational energy as to prevent it from suffering from a reduction in size while descending, falling quickly to earth from the upper atmosphere down towards a specific location on the ground. As it descends along a linear trajectory, it moves at such a speed that evasion is near impossible; as even though it is extremely telegraphed, the meteor is so large that it is extremely difficult to dodge it. As the meteoroid descends upon the vicinity, it very quickly picks up speed until it reaches terminal velocity, which is the highest velocity attainable by an object as it falls through the air – releasing enormous amounts of gravitational pressure that annihilates anything that it comes into contact with. While its movements are obviously telegraphed, the meteor is so large that it is extremely difficult to dodge it. The user can also summon another meteor which will then collide with the first, ensuring that they crash into their intended destination. When the meteor hits, the force is strong enough to create a large explosion, which engulfs a wide area and releases a strong hurricane of air, also leaving a large impact crater in its wake; the impact forces millions upon millions of rubble debris to hit the ground, in a method similar to even more meteors; with the resulting tremors being felt as far as an entire town away.

    Oversoul Art: Malefic Gravity.

Oversoul Art: Malefic Gravity (滅霊奥義・改・世界の重力(オーバーソウ・アート・マレフィック・グラビティ), Ōbasōru Āto: Marefikku Gurabiti lit. Spirit Slayer's Revised Secret Arts: World of Gravity): The Oversoul Art: Malefic Gravity is the absolute strongest spell of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic; it can be considered one of the strongest Gravity Magic spells to ever exist; if not the strongest—its power unparalleled throughout the ages. It's power is such that it is unable to be consumed by any Slayer Magic; instead overpowering the foolish magician trying to take its power for their own and devouring their magic in retaliation. Oversoul Art: Malefic Gravity involves the caster inducing terraforming, which is the hypothetical process of deliberately changing the environment of an entire planet, moon, or asteroid to an entirely new environment which the caster deems to be more suitable in regards to the situation at hand by tapping into the Ley lines and Earth Land's magnetic fields, resulting in not only the caster altering the environment in accordance to their thoughts, but also producing a massive gravitational field around a fixed area. In any case, when performing Oversoul Art: Malefic Gravity, the caster focuses intently, before gathering magical energies within their hands or feet, before releasing their magical energies into the natural forces of the world around themselves- as the world, no matter the location, is constantly saturated with ambient magical energies, the results in the caster's magical energy capable of influencing the world itself and its laws, bestowing upon them complete control over gravity, the natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including all elements and sub-atomic particles, channeling these gravitational energies into the ground while they harness the ability of Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic to tap into the Ley lines, which are located all around Earth Land; Ley Lines are alignments between places of magical power as the gravitational energies takes ahold of Earth Land's magnetic field, which is the magnetic field that extends from Earth Land's interior out into space, where it meets the solar wind, a stream of charged particles emanating from the Sun. Using their gravity manipulation, the caster then combines the aspects of both to modify the flow of the paths in any way that they deem fit; this renders the caster capable of casually manipulating the area in the immediate vicinity in any way that they wish; however, these changes may be instantaneous or develop over the course of the fight, producing a similar effect to Terrain Effect Magic and Universe One while inducing terraforming, which is the hypothetical process of deliberately modifying the atmosphere, temperature, surface topography or ecology of a world to be similar to the biosphere of Earth or other habitable worlds, in order to make it habitable to other species. The effects produced by Universe One forcibly altering the geography and environment of the lands deliberately through Ley line manipulation vary from creating new paths, drying up rivers to create more terrain, freezing enemies or reducing the movement of those stuck on the ground and increasing the movements of those who are airborne- at it strongest form, by utilizing Malefic Gravity, the caster is capable of terraforming an entire mountain range and causing lava to erupt forth from beneath the earth, which, of course, can melt damn near everything that it comes into contact with. By manipulating the very geography of the ground itself, the user of Malefic Gravity can alter the landscape by compressing the land, while given the ability to purposely send certain things or people to certain locations, and in a similar manner to Terrain Effect Magic, the caster is able to change any type of terrain to any other type, for example turn a mountain into a sea, desert to jungle, hill into a lake, etc, shaping the environment in accordance to their imagination as if they were utilizing Molding Magic. The power of Malefic Gravity isn't just limited to manipulating the lands through Gravity Spirit Slayer Magic, but the caster can also manipulate the climate, which is the weather/atmospheric conditions of an area as described over a long period of time that's in the area-of-effect of Malefic Gravity. The caster can change the climate of an area, and even make changes to climate over entire areas over a long period of time, affecting the enchanted area to induce various effects such as as if they were installing the might of atmosphere-influencing magics such Storm Magic and Weather Magic into the domain brought about by Malefic Gravity, allowing the user of this power to bring about various natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other geologic processes. With Malefic Gravity, the caster can erect new mountains, monuments, natural ridge-tops, and water-fords; effectively, the terrain around the caster is under their absolute control- every case of manipulating the earth is accompanied by an immense release of crystalline magical energy surging from the ground, which wreaks havoc on anything it finds, rising up several meters in the air and shattering the earth it emerges from reducing it to small pieces. Along with this, the inducement of Malefic Gravity results in the creation of an enormous gravitational field around the spell's area-of-effect, slowing the movements of the caster's opponent to a crawl as they are held in place by a vicious torrent of pressure, with the crushing power of Malefic Gravity extending to several miles beneath the earth's and ocean's surface. However, despite its incredible power, while Malefic Gravity taps into the magnetic fields of Earth Land, it's only really using a mere fraction of its true power – to exert more might and thus increase it's power, while it would allow the caster to stop the rotation of Earth Land for five minutes, it would severely damage the caster's body irreversibly.

Spirit Force

Spirit Force (霊の力(スピリット・フォース), Supiritto Fōsu lit. Spirit's Power) is the most advanced state that an ordinary Spirit Slayer is capable of taking upon - it can be seen as the equivalent to Dragon Slayer Magic's Dragon Force in that both are powered-up forms that amplifies their prowess all across the board by tenfold the amount and essentially transform the wielder of the Slayer Magic into the creature their magic was created to kill in the first place. When a Spirit Slayer enters Spirit Force, they effectively turn into a miniaturized, humanoid form of the spirit that taught them their Spirit Slayer Magic, resulting in the Spirit Slayer undergoing a rather major physiological change, resulting in the caster gaining traits that are associated with the spirit, which means the change is highly variable, but some common alterations include wings of elemental energy growing from numerous portions of their body, which is usually from their back, as well as a variety of runic patterns becoming automatically engraved across their frame. However, as their power grows, a Spirit Slayer in Spirit Force will fully transform into a perfect replica of their spirit, no matter the size.

In this state, all of their physical attributes are bolstered enormously, making them far stronger, more resistant to damage, and faster; the Spirit Slayer now has access to upgrades or even additions to their normal abilities like flying or hovering; spell-wise, a Spirit Slayer in Spirit Force is capable of utilizing more advanced, powerful attacks, and the transformation enhances all of the user's regular spells, greatly increasing their area-of-effect as well as improving their damage significantly. Tapping into this power which is said to be the "true power of a Spirit Slayer" also drastically enhances the user's physical prowess, making them far stronger, more resistant to damage, and faster, to the point that with Spirit Force activated, the caster's strength and speed have increased to the point that they are able to punch an Etherious with enough force to shatter their body by just having their fist come into contact with the artificial devil while sending the demon careening across the landscape, knowing them down the road with little effort in doing so. Their strength has been enhanced to the point that with a simple clap of their hands, the caster is capable of manifesting a violent tremor that obliterates the ground it comes into contact with and knock their foes away; in addition, the strikes unleashed both unarmed and with a weapon are positively overwhelming and can be bone-shattering. The sudden boost in strength upon activating the form allows the caster to break free of binding-type spells which would normally restrict their bodies and impair their movements through nothing but sheer force of will. With Spirit Force, the caster can grab a blade with their bare hand without feeling any of the exerted force, though said force could do considerable damage to the surrounding area. In addition, their endurance has been upped significantly; enabling them to receive damage like it was nothing and ignore all senses of pain—though it should be noted that this varies on the factor of how powerful the blow is. Finally, the user's naturally immense swiftness is augmented to the point that they can forgo any need for speed-enhancing techniques, enabling them to outstrip almost anyone in a contest of pure speed. Spirit Force increases the user's moving pace to one high enough where simple melee attacks can have great power, a Spirit Slayer using Spirit Force the ability to move at a rate of acceleration and maximum speed in excess to that of normal optimal human capacity. With their speed, the user has plucked an arrow out of the air from a standing start, and has dodged machine gun fire; and the user has created cyclone-like gusts of wind regardless of their actual element, which are able to knock a hoard of wyverns off of their feet.

While in this state, a user of Spirit Slayer Magic demonstrates heightened reflexes and extremely quick information processing, and it amplifies the powers of their signature magic without exhausting themselves; activating the skill, however, has a notable amount of startup invincibility by using the boost in magical energy gained by invoking its power as a rippling aura that shrouds their body from all conceivable directions while inducing a similar effect to Nullification Magic as it renders anything and everything that could count as doing damage to the caster null and void by reversing the energy output and freezing the motion of the energies, so if the caster's opponent is attacking them while they are activating the skill, the caster will be capable of counterattacking immediately as to turn the tides instantly. Activating Spirit Force results in a rather considerable amplification of the magical power dwelling within the body of the user, causing the energies and the caster's Magic Origin to effortlessly replicate the magical energies and the Magic Origin of the phantasmal cryptid that taught them everything they know about fighting like a spirit, causing the powers exuded by their body to reach critical levels in both output and potency, thus causing their magical energies to take upon a violent corporeality fashioned into the visage of an actual spirit that, when exuded at its fullest potential, becomes visible and begins to interact with all sorts of particles that are saturated throughout the atmosphere, causing a multitude of chemical reactions in regards to what's compatible with their element - for example, a user of a fire-inclined Spirit Slayer Magic will have their flames superheat the surrounding air; the heating of the air causes the particles to split due to reactions; thus causing a combustion with the atoms of hydrogen to induce a serial of explosions that they can shape in any way that they wish; this also allows the user to let physical and magical attacks pass harmlessly through their body when they're transformed, with their structural makeup transmogrifying into that of their element more or less. As the Spirit Slayer Magic user's entire body turns into their element, after activating Spirit Force they are virtually immune to physical harm; they can allow any attack to simply pass through them or simply absorb the attack. Activating Spirit Force also allows the user to constantly absorb magical energy and ambient eternano suspended within the atmosphere and convert it into their element, further boosting their power- this ability also works on the foe's magical power and element, but only if it is the same type of element in the latter case. For a Spirit Slayer to activate Spirit Force, they must absorb a large amount of magical power attuned to their element; after this is done, they can activate it at will without any drawbacks, though in all forms, Spirit Force consumes a large amount of the user's magical power.
