Jason Tolliver (ジェイソン·トリバー, Jeison Toribā) is a Independant Mage and a Dragon Slayer; raised by his father Rakurai; a Lightning Dragon. He was trained by Rakurai for most of his life until, like most Dragons, disappeared on July 7, X777; leaving him to fend for himself at the age of 14. He left his cave, in the hopes of finding his foster father. He then saw the strange of civilization. Jason then intergrated himself into the village. Initially, many feared him due to his heritage as a Dragon Slayer, usually tending to avoid him and regect him. However, one day a group of Dark Mages attacked the village. Using his Magic, Jason defeated and drove off the Dark Mages, gaining the gratitude of the villagers. He then started to travel, learning more about civilization and Magic. He soon started his own team, known as Storm. He is the main character in the series, Fairy Tail: Storm. Throughout the world of Earth-Land, he is known under the alias of Golden Dragon (金龍, Kinryū).
Later in the series, it is revealed that Jason comes from a family known as the Kotomine Family, also known as the Clan of Golden Knights (金士の一門, Kinshi no Ichimon), an extremly powerful family who had amazing Magical talents unlike any seen before. Legends has it that every century, a special child would be born that would hold extreme amounts of Magical Power and have the ability to change fate. These children are known as the Children of Destiny (運命子, Unmei-ko). His father was known as Daichi Kotomine, a legendary man who was known as Holy Light of Hope (望聖光, Nozomi Seikō). This man was extremly powerful, being both a Devil Slayer and a Child of Destiny himself. It's said that by using a special usage of Magic Transfer, he managed to split his soul into four pieces that would scatter around all of Earth-Land, making Jason one of the four known Holy Legacies (聖遺産, Hijiri Isan). It is destined that they would get together to take down a powerful and primordal demon known as Mokushiroku. Due to this, Jason also got the specific title of Golden Warrior of the Draconic Palace (竜宮の金士, Ryūgū no Kanashi).
As the main protagonist of the series, readers get to see the world of Earth-Land in Jason's perspective, allowing viewers to see the different events and changes in Jason's everyday life. Throughout most of the series, Jason interacts with many different characters of the series. He is seen developing different relationships with multiple characters, both good and bad. It is also shown that Jason strongly strives to complete his dreams and ambitions, such as wanting to defeat multiple people in his world, such as Jackal and Genghis Breningoch of Dragon Soul. He also plans on winning the Dragon Slayer Royale. The reason for this being that he wants to be known as the strongest Dragon Slayer and to knock Genghis down from his throne and become Dragon Slayer King (滅龍神, Metsuryūjin). Despite these seemingly selfish motives, Jason is truly a caring person, whiling to put his life on the line to protect those dear to him. Because of this, he was given the title of Dragon God of the Golden Heavens (金天空の龍神, Kintenkū no Ryūjin).
Appearance[]
Jason takes the appearance of a young boy, making people think that he's just a child, much to his chagrin. Jason has a very light skin complexion, but not pale. His body is rather toned and muscular, most noticeable area being his abdomen, as he possess a complete set of abs, though its well hidden by his clothes. He acquired his frame through his brutal training with his foster father. Jason stands at 5'7, which is considered slightly shorter than average

. He has golden-blonde hair which he wears in a braid that hangs down to his shoulders. He parts his bangs in the middle so that they frame his face on either side as they fall. He also has one strand of hair sticking up like an antenna. Jason has golden eyes that complements his hair. Jason has two main scars on his body. The first is on his right shoulder. The second one is on his left pectoral muscle and has the appearance of a lightning bolt.
In terms of clothing, Jason wears a custom set of clothes. He wears a trademark bright red, long-sleeved, hooded cloak whose tail comes down to his upper calves. On the back of the coat is a black lightning bolt. He also has a winter variation of this cloak. It has a white fur trim around the hood to make travels to colder regions comfortable. Jason's clothes can sometimes vary, though he's usually wearing black trousers and a black shirt under his coat. Jason's usual outfit consist of a sleeveless black shirt with a black jacket that as silver lining along the edges. He wears his jacket in numerable forms, though his most common being the jacket being connected at the top with a button, and falling slightly short of waist length, making it possible to see his black shirt. He also wears a wide brown leather belt which he keeps his silver pocket watch attached. He wears black leather boots with thick, red soles. Additionally, he frequently wears white gloves in public.

When one first meets Jason, the most prominent things they notice about him is confident and laid-back. When speaking to someone, Jason tends to come off as rude or annoying to those who first meet him. His constant willingness to take on a challenge is usually viewed as a form of arrogance and overconfidence. This statement is proven even more by his witty remarks and sarcastic jokes. He is also known to casually insult his opponents during battle and ususally hurting said adversary's pride bu humiliating them. According to Jason, he finds this extreme hilarious, especially when said person believes that they are better than him. When this occurs, Jason usually proves the fact that he is stronger by beating said person and damageing their own pride in the process. Jason is also extremly laid-back or even lazy, normally not making a fuss about danger. An example of this being that when a large creature attacked a village he was staying at, he taunted and joked around with it, not even taking the fight seriously, and then slaying said creature with no remorse. He is also somewhat uncaring, as he states that if it dosen't have to do with him, he won't be bothered by it. Despite his seemingly arrogant and lazy personality, deep in his heart, he is truly a caring person. It's true that he will not care about things having do do with strangers, although he does care about it when it has to do with either his family or his friends. When they are involved, he immediatly gets serious. He stated before that he cares more about someone hurting his friend than if they hurt him. When his loved one is in danger, he will not hesitate to end the danger that is treatning them.
Also, something surprising is that Jason has a slight amount of honor in his personality, as he dosen't like to fight those who are unable to defend themselves, mostly because he finds it boring and cowardly. Despite this, if needed, he is willing to take lethal approchaes to defeating an opponent. Although he tries to not always kill his opponent, trying to keep the body count to a minimum. A slightly less known fact about his personality is the fact that one may believe him to be a pervert. This statement is due to the fact that he mostly enjoys flirting with various attractive women. Despite this, he is not embarrased or ashamed when seeing a naked female, although he may be slightly shocked if it's unexpected. Due to his strange and complicated personality, Jason has been labeled by the Magic Council as "completly insane", something that Jason very much agrees to, usually using it as a taunt. He also has a relatively unknown side of his personality that he will try to hide from people. This hidden side of his personality is the fact that he is a slight psychopath, as he i known to slightly enjoy the sight of fighing and blood shed. During his childhood with Rakurai, the dragon noticed these slight psychopathic tendencies and used his own power to try and stop these. It successfully worked, although in moments that cause Jason extreme amounts of stress or rage, he will snap and revert to his psychopathic side, showing no emotion, sympathy, or hesitation while killing his opponent.

Excalibur (約束された勝利の剣 (エクスカリバー), Ekusukaribā lit. Sword of Promised Victory): Excalibur is Jason's weapon of choice, being kept in a pocket dimension using Requip. This sword is a Dragon Blade (聖竜剣 (ドラゴン・ブレーズ), Doragon Burēzu lit. Sacred Dragon Swords) an extremely powerful sword that is forged from a Dragolith Element (工芸の竜水晶 (ドラゴリス), Doragorisu lit. Dragon Crystal of Crafting), a special ore which can be obtained in caves of dragon-kind creatures, simply - in dragon caves. At some point in time after becoming a Third Generation, Jason went to the cave that he and Rakurai had lived in while he was a child. He managed to find the Dragolith Element and took it to a famous blacksmith who forged Excalibur. This sword takes the appearance of a brilliantly gold sword with trims of shining blue that is evenly balanced and quite powerful. It has a golden handle connected to a hand guard that drops down on the right side. Attached to this elongated area of the hand-guard is part of Excalibur's brilliantly gold blade so as to better aid Jason in retaining the grip on the sword when it is being used. The guard itself takes the appearance of a golden dragon's head, making it appear as if the blade is coming out of the dragon's mouth. The blade is completely gold like the rest of the sword and the said blade is outlined in a shining blue. A small blue lightning bolt is emblazoned on the flat of the blade, just beneath the tip. The sword is at most 120 centimeters long. As a Dragon Blade, specifically the Dragon Lightning Blade (雷華の聖竜剣 (ドラゴンライトニングブレイド),Doragon Raito Burēzu lit. Sacred Dragon Blade of Majestic Lightning), Excalibur has the ability to absorb elemental attacks, although it is limited. Like it's user, it is only able to absorb lightning and that which is associated with lightning. Unlike it's user, it can only absorb a certain number of spells, through it will vary depending on the power of said spell. Not only that but as a Dragon Blade, this sword is unnaturally sharp, being able to cleave through diamond and even magic blasts effortlessly. This is due to the blades being reinforced by a powerful alternating current and resonates at extremely high frequencies. This oscillation weakens the molecular bonds of anything it cuts, thereby increasing its cutting ability. Finally, thanks to the elemental power of a dragon being naturally imbued into the scales of the blade, Jason is able to channel his magical power into the sword and launch blast of vaporizing lightning, being on par with his own Roar spell. Excalibur is the legendary sword of King Arthur, sometimes attributed with magical powers or associated with the rightful sovereignty of Great Britain.
Magic Headphones (マジック・ヘッドフォン, Majikku Heddofon): Jason owns a pair of Magic Headphones that he keeps in his possession at noticable times. This magical item allows Jason to stores music inside a Magic Database, allowing him to listen to it whenever he wish to do so. There are two models of Magic Headphones; the Sound Pod model in which, each of the model's dark ear-muffs are adorned by a large, lighter-colored spike jutting out from its outer side—the earmuffs are connected via a cable to the Magic Database, which takes the form of a small device capable of being attached to one's belt to be carried around easily and comfortably. The second model is known as the Lacrima Model and it is the latest model that comes from Mitchia Company. This model is wireless, with the prominent, pointed Lacrima crystals jutting out from its ear-muffs acting as the Magic Database. This model’s ear-muffs lack spikes and are more traditional in look, with their inner parts, the one placed over the ears, being padded. A bow joins together the ear-muffs, and each Lacrima crystal is secured to its corresponding headphone by a pair of straps circling it, which are connected to the headphones by two thin, curved structures, which in turn are linked together by a third, straight structure. This model is said to be capable of storing over 10,000 songs in its Magic Database, and changing the Lacrima crystals on the ear-muffs can alter the effects of the music. Jason's Magic Headphones are sustom-made Lacrima-model headphones, being mostly black, except for the sides of the headphones, which have a yellow lightning bolt designed on them.

Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Jason has proven many times that he is a master in the art of hand to hand combat. When Jason fights, he uses his physical prowess along with his Dragon Slayer Magic to hold his own against the strongest of opponents. His fighting style can be viewed as a fierce, powerful, and completly improvised. By combining his great strength with his punchs, he is more than capable of sending his opponents flying. While fighting, he usually uses any and all parts of his body, ranging from using his fists for punches to his feet for kicks and even his head for headbutting. utts, elbows, knees and even palm strikes. He can also change the flow of his fighting style, making it a aggressive and straight foward attack style using bone breaking blows and powerful bodyslams to fluit and acrobatic motions while using powerful jabs and lethal karate chops. What's intresting to note is that he'll even use his sword while in the middle of using hand to hand combat, an example of this would be using his sword for a rising slash and then using his fist for a foward punch. When Jason decides to use his Magic alongside his hand-to-hand prowess, he is capable of causing his melee attacks to be even faster, while with the added effect of lightning causing the limb struck to feel numb for a while, possibly due to the discharges released from said strike. Even if he doesn't feel like using his Magic for combat, he is more than capable of powering his attacks with stray eternano, allowing just a single punch to release wind pressure powerful enough to destroy a stone wall with ease. Since Jason's fighting style is completly improvised, it follows no particular code of honor, meaning that if necessary, he will attack women or animals, hit below the belt, attack his enemies even if they have their backs turned or are otherwise unprepared or unsuspecting, use enemies as human shields and even bite his opponents. With just his bare hands, he is capable of taking one hordes of enemies and still win, usually unscathed. Due to this, most people believe that Jason actually is a living dragon, something that amuses him to no end.
Expert Swordsmanship Specialist: Despite the fact that he perfers using his hand-to-hand combat prowess to handle combat releated situation, Jason is actually very skilled in the use of a blade. When Jason first aquired his Dragon Blade, Excalibur, he did not truly know how to use, since for most of his time living with Rakurai, he was trained in the arts of unarmed combat. Initially, when Jason fought with his blade, he used a very direct and predictable style usually focusing on attacking and not leaving any room for defense. After some sword training with both Lance Frostbreaker and Elise Hakuro, he became much more proficent in the use of his blade. With his blade, Excalibur, Jason is capable of cleaving through armored opponent without exerting any true effort. During combat, Jason uses a rather balanced form, combining multiple styles of swordsmanship to make his own unique swordsmanship style. Jason's perfered style of swordsmanship is both straight foward and direct, aiming to completly overwhelm his opponent with sheer power. By using his own physical strength, he is capable of releasing powerful blade of wind from his sword, capable of easily slicing through armor and metal walls. Jason is also known to incorporate his own Dragon Slayer Magic into the blade, using lightning to increase the blade's sharpness through high frequency vibrations, as well as increasing the blade's overall cutting range. Due to the fact that Jason is using lightning, a single strike is more than capable of numbing the opponent's for a set amount of time. Jason also aims for vital points when fighting with a blade, usually aiming to take the opponent out of commission as fast as possible, and then finishing them off.

Unbelievable Strength: Possibly due to the fact that he is a Dragon Slayer, Jason is known to have monsterous strength. When one first looks at Jason's frame figure, they would believe that he wouldn't possess much physical strength, though they would be surprised at the amount of power that Jason truly possesses. Thanks to his foster father's extremly tough and possibly questionable methods of traning, Jason has gained strength that is purely inhumane. During his childhood, Jason already had the ability to carry large objects such as boulders and throw them with the same hand. He could even destroy said boulders with a single punch. A training method that Rakurai employed on Jason was punching large boulders until they would shatter, only stopping for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This form of training often made Jason's hand bleed, but it proved to make him much stronger than a normal person. Usually, Jason utilizes his strength with his combat mastery, using his strength to power punches to the point that they can shatter metal with ease. He also uses such strength when utilizing his sword, unleashing powerful bursts of wind pressure powerful enough to cut an entire house in half. With his immense strength, Jason is easily grab large weapons made of metal such as batlle hammers and maces with out feeling the full force of the weapons themselves. He can even shatter and crush metal with his bare hands, something that is usually considered impossible. Along with this arm strength, he also has impressive leg strength. Just a single kick is capable of releasing wind pressure so powerful that it could cut an entire building in half. He can also use that leg strength to jump at extremly high levels, enough to fight equally with opponents who possess the ability to fly. It can also be noted that when he was angry, one stomp caused an entire crater to form under his feet, showcasing his amount of strength. It was once shown that when he was having a sparring match with Lance that he was easily capbale of shattering ice with a single full-powered punch, something that actually impressed both himself and Lance.
Impressive Speed and Excellent Reflexes: Possibly due to the element that he weilds, Jason is known for the increadible amount of pure speed that he possesses, making Jason possibly one of the fastest Dragon Slayers on Earth-Land. By using his already increadible leg strength, Jason is more than capable of using it to unleash powerful burst of speed, allowing him to cross extremly large gaps in a matter of seconds. By infusing his own body with lightning, Jason has the ability to seemingly disappear and reappear around the battlefield, a result of extreme speed. He can even use his accelerated speed to attack the opponent in multiple directions without them knowing his true location. It's noted that he's fast enough to outrun his own roar spell and fire said spell from different directions, usually causing the opponents to be completly confused, allowing the blast to hit them from all angles.

Due to his immense speed, his fighting style also relies on that same speed. By using his lightning-enchanced speed, he can deliever extremly fast yet powerful kicks and punches with ease. Jason's speed is accompanied by his vast relflexes and superb agility. By using Electro-perception spell, it is possible to catch speeding bullets with no effort at all. He can even send back said bullets with speedy kicks, usually resulting in the death of the opponents. Due to his Electro-perception spell combined with his reflexes, hitting Jason is almost impossible, as he would already know where it would come from before the opponent even knew. Combined with his reflexes, his agility is also something to note, as he is easily capable of doing feats such as jumping on falling rubble in order to boost himself upwards, as well as easily and carefully jumping on multiple thin beams of wood without falling. Do to this agility, he is also skilled in acrobatics, meaning that he is capable of doing multiple back-flips and somersaults to dodge attacks and to get to different locations at high speeds; usually giving Jason a better option of travel without the side effect of motion sickness.
Incredible Durability and Endurance: Jason has proven over and over again that he possesses a extreme amount of both durability and endurance. This immense amount of durability was caused by his foster father's extreme training methods. He would casually leave Jason in dark forests at night and have him battle vicious monsters in order to prove himself. He would also force him to run over molten rock barefoot while holding a large boulder in order to get him used to the feeling of pain. Due to all of these training methods, Jason is easily capable of shrugging off multiple attacks with ease. Some examples of this durability included being launched and slammed into large buildings, as well as having said buildings fall ontop of him, only to get back up and easily get ready to fight agian. Another example would be that he was attacked by a Fire Magic, Water Magic, and Earth Magic combination spell and suffer from no injurys or even scratches. He was even able to withstand the immensly powerful flame and poison attacks caused by Hayashi Aririki, who at the time was a Flame Venom Dragon Slayer. Although in the end, he soon succumed to the deadly posion of said Dragon Slayer, passing out. It's known that Jason recovers at impressive rates, usually much faster than an ordinary person would heal. Another thing to note is that he has a fairly high amount of pain tolerance, being able to withstand a fair amount of painful techniques, such as whirlwinds of ice shards of hordes of bullets. Jason also has a extreme amount of endurance, as he is well capable of battling a large amount of Rune Knights during an attempt to arrest him. He even managed to keep up with a Wizard Saint for some time, even injuring said Wizard Saint in one of their arms. He can even push himself past exhaustion and continue fighting, something that most people are unable to do. An example of this being that Jason have had all of his energy used up by performing a Secret Art, although he still fights anyway until he has won the battle. Due to this, Jason has been described as "unkillable" or "unbreakable".

Enchanced Senses: Due to the fact that he is a Dragon Slayer, Jason's senses are about ten times better than that of a normal human's, having greater smelling, hearing, and sight capabilities. When referring to his sense of smell, his is as sharp as a dog's. He can follow individuals just by how they smell, even if they cover it with some form of colon. He can also use his sense of smell to point out if someone is rich or poor or even if they have evil intentions. He is even capable of using his sense of smell alone to distinguish different types of species hiding as humans, such as dragons, phoenixs or even demons. He can also tell if someone is a Dragon Slayer or any other type of Slayer. As for his hearing abilitiess, they are described to be phenomenal. His hearing is potent enough to hear people talking from miles away, allowing him to eavesdrop on people when needed, something that is very useful. His hearing his potent enough to hear the heartbeats of different people, useful enough to tell if someone is lying during an interrogation simply by listening to their heartbeat. Once, he was able to hear an assassin trying to snipe him from a distance, allowing him to dodge the bullet without effort and intercept said assassin. His eyesight also known for it's immense abilities. Once, he was capable of seeing a bullet that was shot from 5 miles away. However, despite his phenomenal senses, they can be used against him. An example of this being that he once landed in a pile full of trash. The horrid smell of the garbage completly horrified Jason, causing him to comically run away in terror. Another example is that when a Sound Mage used a spell, he seemed to be in visible pain, despite the fact that it didn't even affect the people around him.
Magical Abilities[]
Enormous Magical Power: Jason, due to his status of being a Dragon Slayer, possesses a proportionately larger amount amount of magical power than most would possess. A known fact is that Jason's magical container is much larger than a normal mage's, causing his spells to be much more potent and powerful in nature. Jason's enormous magical power has been sshown when he unleashes various high-level Slayer spells and still possesses a large amount of magical power left in him. Jason has a natural control of the exertion of his magical power, being able to keep it contained to the point where it is virtually impossible to detect him, although it can be taxing when doing it for extremely large periods of time. When Jason's Magical Power is released at full power, the image of a golden chinese dragon surrounds him, causing fear into the hearts of his opponents. In addition, because he is a Lightning Dragon Slayer, Jason can easily replenish his own magic

al power as well as heal his wounds simply by consuming lightning. This allows him to fight for longer amounts of time simply by drawing in lightning from the surrounding area, usually from the sky. Jason's magic power also adds a strange effect on his body; motion sickness, which is said to be a effect that "real" Dragon Slayers possess when they reach a certain point of power. Surprisingly, Jason is capable of resisting motion sickness for a certain period of time before eventually sucomming to it. It's noted that Jason's magical power is quite equal to Lance's. Magic originates from a Magic Origin (魔原, Magen), which is exactly what the wording indicates—it is a special organ that is located within the body of a magician, that absorbs eternano and bunches it up into clusters, which is processed into magical power. Every Mage has a container inside their body that determines the limits of their Magic Power; this is precisely what a Magic Origin is. If the case becomes empty, eternano will come from the atmosphere and enters the Mage's body and after a while, their Magic Power is restored.
- Magical Aura (魔力の霊気 Maryoku no Reiki; Literally meaning Aura of Magical Power): A Magical Aura is a common term given to the exertion of magical energy into a form outside of the user's body that isn't used in the formation of spells. It has been demonstrated by various mages of varying potency, and is a common means of intimidation. A magical aura is created when the body's container of Eternano particles exceeds the limits of what it contains, or is purposefully released by the user. Upon doing so, the magical energy surges around the body and is exerted outwards in the form of an aura, which holds considerable pressure surrounding it. Depending on the level of magical power one possesses and the control behind it, it can be used as a means to intimidate another individual, or as a preparation for a powerful spell. A single magical aura can have a wide variety of effects dependent on the power an individual exerts. The level of Jason's Magical Power is known as a Monster Aura (未力の魔霊気, Miryoku no Mareiki; Literally meaning Magical Aura of Outstanding Power), which as it is classified, is the strongest classification of aura to date. Only extremely powerful mages are capable of this aura, and are generally Guild Aces, if not masters. There are few people in the world of Earth Land that possess this aura and as expected, Jason happens to be one of the few, as a testament to his tremendous levels of magical power. Upon release, the magic almost consumes the user in their color, leaving nothing but a phantom-like apparition to remain. It should also be noted that the aura is far wider, and is generally uncontrolled by the individual. However, "Monster" auras aren't limited to intimidation, and can be used for the preparation of a spell. This was demonstrated aptly by Jellal Fernandes in his activation of Sema, which caused the environment to become distorted due to the sheer level of magical power concentrated in the atmosphere thanks to his release of power. It is also worth noting that the pressure exhibited from such an aura can form a large column of energy, leaving the pressure enough to visibly cause strain on individuals even from a considerable distance away from the exertion of the aura, indicating at the sheer level of power within this aura. Jason's Magical Aura is connected to his Dragon Slayer Magic, meaning when ever he manifestes it, it takes the form of electricity, releasing electricity from his being, enough to actually make the surrounding area much hotter. His Magical Aura is enough to create thunderstroms due to the pressure of his Magical Aura.
- Second Origin Activation (二番原解放, Nibangen Kaihō): Second Origin is a force known as the "second container" of magical energy in an individual. This container exists due to the mage in question constantly, and passively, absorbing a quantity of magic from the environment to renew their original reserves. This can be circumvented by mages with control of their magic, however, allowing them to restore the magical power as a reserve that can be accessed whenever required, therefore providing an extremely useful back-up.Second Origin Activation can only be taken place, as said before, by mages who have control over their own magical energy. It generally only works when one is in a magic-rich environment and has nearly exhausted their initial supplies. By absorbing a copious quantity of magic from the surrounding environment passively (which can be noticed through a tingling sensation in the body), the user's internal reserves can be released at the same time. Notably, one can allow the Second Origin to passively increase the quantity of magic that is within it, so long as it isn't used during this period of time, otherwise it has to accumulate magic once again.

Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic (雷の滅竜魔法, Kaminari no Metsuryū Mahō): Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic is a Caster, Lost, and finally, a form of Dragon Slayer Magic that allows the user to utilize the element of lightning in order to slay Dragons. Something that should be noted is that the lightning created by this Magic possesses an incredibly high voltage, being particularly destructive, and the electricity of which they’re composed of seems capable of momentarily paralyzing foes, making it easier for the user to take them out and much like that employed in standard Lightning Magic, can be generated in places away from the caster; however, their trajectory may be redirected by metal objects acting as "lightning rods”, thus redirecting the attacks. The most noticable feature of this Magic is the lightning that the user produces is able to have different properties; allowing the user to change the effect that the lightning has, such as having a "blunt" effect or a "piercing" effect, allowing it to cause bludgeoning and penetrating damage while at the same time electrocuting the opponent or vaporizing the environment. Outside of the ability to produce electricity, the user is also able to consume external sources of said element to restore their body to a healthy state and regain their reserves of strength, which in turn, makes them immune to most types of lightning, due to the ability to nullify electric-based attacks simply by sucking them in and devouring it. The consumed lightning also seems to possess a different “taste” according to its “quality”, or specifically voltage. However, much like that of other Dragon Slayers, the user is unable to digest their own lightning to reinvigorate themselves, as it will cause negative effects on their body. While classes of lightning that are “higher” in rank to those produced by this type of Magic (like those employed by a Lightning God Slayer or Lightning Devil Slayer) can’t be eaten directly and will therefore damage the user, momentarily self-nullifying all of the user’s Magic Power will grant them enough room to consume and even use such powerful lightning. However, there are some magic and spells that the user will never be able to devour such as Black Lightning and magic of that caliber.
Jason learned Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic from his foster father Rakurai, also known as the Golden Storm Dragon (金嵐竜, Kinranryū). Rakurai was known for his tough attitude. This applied with his training as well. By setting Jason up with hellish training methods, he was able to learn more about the element of lightning and various ways to use it. He is shown to have a great understanding of his magic, being able to use his lightning unique ways, such as creating electric fields in order to manipulate electromagnetism, using electromagnetic waves to see in a 360 degree angle or even charge his nerves with electricity to enchance his natural abilities. Jason tends to use his magic in a offensive and destructive manner, typical for a Dragon Slayer, obliterating his enemies until there is nothing left of them. Originally, Jason was known as a First Generation Dragon Slayer (初代滅竜, Shodai Metsuryū). However, after being defeated and nearly killed by a man known as Jackal, he decided to implant a Dragon Lacrima into his body, turning him into a Third Generation Dragon Slayer (三代滅竜, Sandai Metsuryū), drawing his Magic from both the teaching of his foster father and the Lacrima implanted within him. This gave him a huge boost of power and the ability to use Drive and Dragon Force whenever he felt like it, turning him into the true definition of a one-man army. Not only that, but by accidently consuming the ice of a Ice Dragon Slayer, he was able to access his own unique Dual Element Dragon Mode, known as Ice Storm Dragon Mode (モード氷嵐竜, Mōdo Hiranryū).
- Lightning Dragon's Roar (雷竜の咆哮, Rairyū no Hōkō): The most basic yet destructive spell in Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic. Lightning Dragon's Roar is the first spell that a Lightning Dragon Slayer learns and is the exclusive Dragon's Roar spell, which incorporates a specific element, in this case being lightning. Though this spell, the user is able to inhale deeply, gathering a large amount of air in their mouth before converting their Magical Power into lightning, then unleashing it as a powerful blast of lightning that damages and electrocutes any targets that get in it's way. A unique side-effect of being hit by this attack is if the target survives, the lightning paralyzes them, preventing them from escaping the user's next attack. This allows them to follow up with another attack after this one connects. By moving their head around as they casts it, they can also employ this spell in an arched trajectory, enabling them to hit enemies not in their line of sight. The second and seemingly faster variation of this spell is the user taking a large amount of air and releasing lightning alongside wind, resulting in a tornado of pure electricity that will travel at the opponent at increadible speeds. This lightning tornado is much more deadlier, as in addition to the electrocution damage of the lightning, the rotational force causes small wind blades that slash at the opponent's body from all angles. Unlike most other known Dragon Slayers, the user can apparently preform their Dragon's Roar without the need for preparations, something that makes it notably faster than most.
- Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist (雷竜の内訳拳, Rairyū no Hoken): Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist is a offensive Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic spell that is capable of destroying anything it touches. By punching the opponent in the stomach and then releasing the spell, the spell is usually powerful enough to create a large hole in the opponent's body. Despite this spell's increadible power, it can harm allys or structures if it is used recklessly.
- Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd (雷竜 ・方天戟, Rairyū Hōtengeki): Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd is an extremly powerful Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic spell utilized by Jason that creates a large halberd of lightning that is launched towards the opponent. Once it reaches the oppponent, it explodes extremly violently, usually causing the surrounding area to be reduced to ash, including the opponent if it's a direct strike. If the opponent survives this spell, they will be paralyzed by the static electricity produced by this ultimate spell. However, despite it's immense power, it has it's own drawbacks. First off, this spell requires a increadible amount of lightning to utilize, usually taking time for such spell to form. It has also shown that once fired, this spell will not seperate ally from foe, as it completly destroys both friend and foe, making this spell ill advised in heavily populated areas. The weapon generated by such technique resembles a Ji, a traditional Chinese halberd, in appearance.
- Lightning Dragon's Sword Horn (雷竜の剣角, Rairyū no Kenkaku): Lightning Dragon's Sword Horn is a powerful offensive Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic spell that Jason has learned, it involves Jason surrounding his entire body in electricity and then headbutting the opponent in their midsection. To perform this spell, the user must first generate a extreme amount of lightning from their body. After generating it, they must continuously focus and compress that lightning into and around their body. This creates a extremly powerful and durable layer of electricity that surrounds the user. As the lightning begins to form, the user begins to charge towards the target at inhumane speeds. If all of these bullets are fired at the exact same area, they can cause a small explosion of lightning to occur, usually enough to cause small burning marks on the opponent's body. The user can also use this spell with both of their hands, causing the number of bullets to be increase by double the amount causing even more damage towards the opponent. Despite this spells increadible power, it has it's own set of weaknesses. First of all, the bullets by themselves aren't very powerful, which is why multiple bullets are needed. Also, one with a extreme amount of durability can easily shrug off the attack.
- Lightning Dragon's Heavenly Blade (雷竜の天刃, Rairyū no Tenjin): Lightning Dragon's Heavenly Blade is a unique and powerful Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic spell that creates a large sword of electricity that can cleave a giant in two. In order to perform this spell, the user begins to generate lightning in the palm of their hands. After doing so, they begin to focus the lightning generated as it swirls around itself. As it swirls, it grows longer and larger by the second, hinting at it's increadible size. Then by using shape transformation, the user creates an increadibly large blade of pure lightning. This blade of lightning usually appears in the form of a extremly large broadsword. As this broadsword of lightning appears, the user charges towards the oppoent with their overly-sized blade in their hands. As the user gets close enough to the opponent, they swing their blade at the opponent with immense speed. This causes the blade to completly cleave whatever was infront of them in half. Due to the fact that this sword is completly made up of lightning, it causes the target to have extreme burn marks on whatever parts that they were stricken at, meaning that the user can execute an opponent without causing a single drop of blood to spill from their body. Also, due to all of the lightning compressed in the blade, when the blade is used, the lightning is released as a immensly large wave of pure electricity, capable of completly vaporizing anything in it's way. Despite this spell's immense strength, it has it's own drawbacks. Due to the fact that this spell require a large amount of lightning, as well as shape transformation, the user will have to take some time to create this spell, leaving themselves open to attack.
- Lightning Dragon's Running Beast (雷竜の実行獣, Rairyū no Jikkō-jū): Lightning Dragon's Running Beast is a powerful and unique spell of the Lightning Dragon Slayer that can follow the opponent no matter where they go. in order to perform this spell, the user begins to charge electricity into both of their hands. While doing this, the user position their hands in a claw-like formation. As the user positions themselves, they begin to cause the lightning surrounding their arms to project themselves outward and with the help of shape transformation, the user can shape their lightning into a large and hungry looking tiger-like beast waiting to devour it's next victim. When the spell is released, it activates a unique feature that makes this spell extremly hard to evade. When this spell is activated, the lightning beast instantly tags onto the opponent's own energy signature, causing the large construct to follow it's target no matter where they run. It has been mentioned to be similiar to how a pretador hunts for it's prey. Another unique feature is that the more the opponent tries to evade the spell, the larger the beast gets, as it is constantly consuming the eternano around it for energy. Once the beast reaches the target, it explodes violently, releasing a increadible amount of static electricity in the process, usually paralyzing the oppoent for sme time. Despite it's unique features and abilities, it has a few drawbacks. A major drawback includes that it's quite possible to trick the beast into following another energy signature altogether if that signature is similiar to the opponent's. The opponent can also throw something at the beast to cause it to explode in mid-flight.
- Lightning Dragon's Electromagnetic Field (雷竜の電磁場, Rairyū no Denjiba): Lightning Dragon's Electromagnetic Field is a unique Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic spell as it allows the user to control an entirely new aspect of their magic. In order for the user to even use this spell, the user must surround themselves in an powerful electric field. This gives them their electromagnetic abilities. When using this spell, the user is able to manipulate electromagnetism in the form of different types of metal, which can be used for many avenues, such as being able to control metallic objects, as well as attract them, allowing him to catch ferrious objects or repell them at rapid speeds, using them as lethal projectiles against the opponent. A common use of this spell is using electromagnetism to manipulate iron sand. The iron sand that's being used by this magic is extremly durable, being able to cause immense blunt damage towards the opponent. The iron sand can also be used to create weapons at will, such as swords or lances. It can even be used to create sheilds made up of scrap metal. The user can also use this spell to give themselves a limited form of flight, allowing them to hover in the air for short periods of time. The user is even capable of using this spell to walk on walls, although the walls must be made up of some form of metal. This spell is extremly useful to the user, although it has it's own drawbacks. When utilizing this spell, the range of which the user can control electromagnetism is limited, as anything outside the field is unable to be manipulated.
Dragon Slayer's Secret Art (滅竜奥義 Metsuryū Ōgi): The strongest techniques of a Dragon Slayer and the final ones taught to a young Dragon Slayer in training. Such techniques possess extreme backlash to the user if used incorrectly, thus, Jason uses them extremely sparingly.

When begining this spell, the user generates a large amount of lightning from both hands. As they do that, the user begins to focus such lightning to surround both arms in dense layers of electricity, essentially creating powerful gauntlet of immense electrical power. Due to the amount of lightning charged and compressed, it causes the user's hands to glow a bright yellow. After the user finishes charging all of that lightning, the user rushes at the opponent at extreme speeds. Once the user reaches the opponent, they release a powerful barrage of lightning-enchanced punches towards the intended target. The power this spell contains is fearsome, as each hit discharges a massive amount of electricity throughout the opponent's body, mimicking a minature explosion. The punches released cannot be seen by normal eyes, as they only appear as electric jet-streams that flow from where the user's arms are supposed to be. Due to the immense strength and speed of the punches, its possible to release extreme amount of air pressure from the strikes, causing both external and internal damage towards the opponent, as well as destroying whatever is behind them. Despite the overwhelming power that follows this spell, it has it's own drawbacks, being that it's a Secret Art. Due to the unrealistic speeds of this spell, it is quite possible to tear the muscles in the user's arms if used the wrong way.
- Storming Heavens: Soaring Dragon Edge (襲撃天・高騰龍端, Shūgekiten: Kōtōryūtan): Soaring Dragon Edge is one of Jason's Secret Arts and his personal favorite and most used one. In order to perform this devestating attack, the user must generate a extreme amount of electricity into the palm of their hands. After doing so, the user will begin to focus the electricity into the palm of their hands, forming a small orb of pure condensed electricity, small enough to fit in one's hand. After doing this, the orb begins to literaly absorb the eternano in the surrounding area, making the orb even more powerful and destructive, usually causing the parks to dance around the orb in a unstable fashion. After the user has gathered enough eternano and lightning to power the spell, they release the spell as a extremly powerful beam of pure untamed lightning. This lightning beam can literaly destroy and blaze the earth itself, leaving nothing in it's wake. The user can also change the direction of the spell in case they ever miss the target or if they're aiming for multiple targets. This spell can even pierce Magical Barriers as if they were made of swiss cheese. It's possible to release this spell in two different ways: the first being with two hands, making the spell extremly powerful, although it can take some time to use. The other being with one hand. This makes the spell much faster, although it is slightly weaker in terms of raw power. Once this spell reaches the opponent, it explodes violently, completly vaporizing everything and everyone in the area, leaving nothing but ash and ruin. It is known that when this spell is released, the image of a dragon's head appears, hinting at the name of this spell.
- Storming Heavens: Electromagnetic Destruction Cannon (襲撃天・電磁大砲, Shūgekiten: Denji Hakaihō): Electromagnetic Destruction Cannon is one of Jason's Secret Arts and possibly one of his most powerfullest spells in his arsenal. In order to perform this spell, the user will need to generate a massive amount of lightning from their entire being. After they generate the lightning, they begin to focus the lightning in the palm of his hands, forming a rather chaotic looking sphere of electricity. The sphere itself is formed off of extremly consentrated lightning and powerful electric fields, usually causing anytype of animal to scatter due to the uneasyness of the electric field surrounding the orb. As the sphere is formed, it begins to literaly absorb any and all forms of eternano and if available electricity from the surrounding environment. Due to the immense build up of the sphere and the fact that it absorbs eternano, it is constantly growing and expanding, getting larger with every second. After the sphere grows enough and becomes a gigantic death ball of pure untamed electricity, the user launches the sphere at the opponent at high speeds towards the opponent. This spell complelty consumes anything that touches it before it reaches it's target, which when it does, it explodes in a extremly bright blast of static electricity. The massive amounts of electricity cause everything in the surrounding area to be completly vaporized, not even leaving ash behind. Despite it's seemingly invinsible power, it has it's own drawbacks as well. The main one being that this spell requires an extreme amount of harmony, focus, and power. Without it, the sphere would explode violently, destroying everything in the area, including the arm the user used to cast the spell, as well as leave extreme burn marks on the user's body.
Lightning Drive[]
Drive (ドライブ, Doraibu): Drive, Subspecies Magic, is a type of Magic-amplification technique used by Third Generation Dragon Slayers that brings out the true power of their capabilities as a user of Dragon Slayer Magic, excluding the power boost granted by Dragon Force, yet, at the same time, seemingly enhancing the user's physical prowess to a degree, particularly the user's speed. When activating Lightning Drive, Jason's body will begin to absorb the electrons in the surrounding area, infusing his body with these particles at a accelerated rate. This will cause Jason's body to be cloaked in a elemental aura of static electricity, giving him the impression of being possessed by a golden colored phantom. This aura emulates powerful discharges of electricity from it, being able to slightly burn small parts of the ground near Jason. This means that anyone who gets too close to Jason will be violently electrocuted by the discharges of static electricity, giving Jason a extremly useful and automatic defense. As mentioned above, when Jason enters this form, his physical attributes are also increased, specifically his speed, as he now receives peak physical ability which is coupled with him entering as state of enhanced awareness. This is extremely useful, as it allows Jason to have a greater perception of his surroundings and process new information at a much quicker rate. Jason is also able to perform new spells while he is in this form; as well as making his pre-existing spells far more powerful, being able to use them while he is in Drive only. Something intresting to note about Lightning Drive is that when in use, Jason's spells become much more focused and powerful, meant to be used to completely obliterate a single opponent without having to damage most of the surrounding area in the process. This form is supposedly give Jason "the power that kills Dragons", although he believes that he dosen't need to use Drive in order to kill one. Despite this claim, he also stated that it could possibly make the job much easier, showing that it's slightly true. Despite this spell's power, due to the sudden uprise in Magical Power, he was initially unable to use this spell for long periods of time. After training to be able to use this spell more often, he gained the ability to use this spell whenever he wants with extreme ease, as he was once able to keep this form up for about 4 to 5 hours.

Dragon Force (龍力 (ドラゴンフォース), Doragon Fōsu): Dragon Force is an advanced form of Dragon Slayer Magic. Dragon Force activates when a Dragon Slayer starts to turn his/her own body into a humanoid dragon, gaining reptile-like scales and traits, such as further elongated and sharp canines for Old-Style Dragon Slayers, and scaly arms, sometimes complete with claws, for New-Style Dragon Slayers. According to Zero, Dragon Force is the most powerful and final state a Dragon Slayer can attain, this granting power comparable to that of a real dragon, and the ability to destroy everything. Dragon Force greatly increases the damage done by standard Dragon Slayer spells, and grants the user access to more advanced, powerful attacks. It also drastically enhances the user's physical prowess, making them far stronger, more resistant and faster, and boosts their Magic power, prompting it to violently become visible, taking on the shape of a dragon; when used at the fullest, the generated silhouette seems to gain corporeality, likely as a result of the immense amount of Magic power employed. When Natsu Dragneel achieved such state through the use of Jellal Fernandes' Flame of Rebuke spell, his flames also gained the ability to devour offending Magic, even that of Zero's ultimate attack Genesis Zero.
Due to him being a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, Jason is capable of activating Dragon Force by will at anytime, giving him a powerful advantage against opponents. Dragon Force transforms Jason's body into a humanoid Dragon. Due to being a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, he gains yellow scale-like patterns on his face, which proceed to extend down from the side of his neck and onto the rest of his body, including his arms. These scales are very much in uniform when they get farther from the central portion of his body, which gives him scattered, distinct scales, elongated and placed diagonally. He will also gain further elongated and sharper canine teeth. Jason's eyes also lose their pupil when in this form. This form has been described as others as "the true power of a Dragon Slayer," as it gives the user the power the power of a real Dragon: the power to utterly destroy everything. Dragon Force greatly increases the damage done by standard Dragon Slayer spells, and grants the user access to more advanced, powerful attacks. It also drastically enhances the user's physical prowess, making them far stronger, more resistant to damage, and faster, and considerably boosts their Magic Power, which becomes visible, taking the appearance of a Dragon. When exuded at its fullest, said Magic Power takes on a violent corporeality, likely as a result of the immense amount of Magic power employed. Before becoming a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, Jason was able to achieve Dragon Force be consuming a powerful form of lightning produced by a Raiju. After using Dragon Force, Jason wanted the ability to use that whenever it was necessary and decided to have a Lacrima implanted into him, turning him into a Third Generation Dragon Slayer (三代滅竜, Sandai Metsuryū).
- Enchanced Magical Power: When entering Dragon Force, Jason's Magical Power increases significantly, to the point where he can access a new and unique stage of his magical aura known as Dragon Aura (龍寝の魔霊気, Tatsumi no Mareiki; Literally meaning Magical Aura of the Sleeping Dragon), which is said to only be one-third of the standard Magical Power that a Dragon has stored within them. Due to the overwhelming levels of magic power, it becomes visible to his opponents, taking the form of a dragon that greatly resembles his foster father, making most people mistake it for Aura Synthesis. It's stated that Jason's Magical Power releases so much pressure on the surroundings that it causes multiple violent thunderstorms to appear in the general area, causing many to say that Jason is literally "a walking thunderstorm." Jason's Magical Power is capable of surrounding his entire body in an intense aura of electricity, one so powerful that anyone who gets near him will get violently electrocuted. Due to the heightened amounts of Magical Power, Jason's spells are also enhanced increadibly. One example of this is when Jason unleashed a roar spell on his opponent, it caused a extremely powerful and bright explosion to occur, causing the very floor they were stanging on to collapse. Due to his increased amount of Magical Power, Jason is capable of accessing his Dragon Slayer's Ultimate Art (滅竜極義, Metsuryū Gokugi), his final and ultimate Dragon Slayer technique.
- Enchanced Strength: Dragon Force enchances Jason's physical capabilities to the max. This includes his strength. Jason's already immense strength is further empowered when he enters this state, to the point where him just stomping on the ground once was vapable of creating an extremly large crater on the ground. His strength is enhanced to the point where he can literally shatter extremely hard substances like diamond or titanium simply by punching it. His strength is also enough to literally shatter a Magical Barrier without excerting any form of energy or stress, something that horrifies most people who witness this form. Another feat that Jason posssesses now is that he can literally shedd his opponents to bit by simply using the air pressure of his punches and kicks. An example would be that he once cut a demon in half by kicking them, releasing so much air pressure that the wall behind it was also sliced in half. Another example of his impossibly great strength is that when he was able to catch a giant's foot when it tried to crush him and using the same hand to throw it high into the air. His strength is also enough to completly slice a mountain in half when he swung his Dragon Blade, Excalibur at it. It was with this strength that he was able to overwhelm Gladius, a member of the Thirteen Demon Lords who was known for his immense strength.
- Enchanced Speed: Since Dragon Force enchances all of Jason's physical capabilities, it would only be natural for it to include his speed as well. When referring to his immense speed boost, Jason can only be described as "a speeding bolt of lightning," as when he moves, he looks as if he disappears in a bright flash of lightning. Jason now has the capability to travel speeds that seemed to be impossible, as he is now fully capable of traveling at the speed of Mach 6, allowing him to close increadibly large gaps in mere seconds. Some have even said that Jason looks as if he is traveling at lightspeed, which is normally impossble due to the fact that it would potentially destroy the human body. He can even use his Dragon Slayer Magic to further enchance his speed. Such example is using his electricity to causes his nerves to react faster than normal, allowing him to evade a point-blank Fire Magic spell and appear on the other side of the battlefield. Jason has once used his speed to penetrate the stratosphere, producing a powerful sonic boom that allowed him to actually reach space and come back down for a powerful kick which shattered the opponent's skull, as well as leaving a gigantic crater on the ground.
- Enchanced Durability and Endurance: Due to Dragon Force's ability to enchance all of the user's physical capabilities to their max, Jason's Durability and Endurance were enchanced to frightning levels. When speaking about Jason's durability, he has been described as "a unstoppable steel fortress." In this form, Jason has been known to shrug off imcreadibly powerful spells without taking any damage, to the point where he doesn't have a single scratch on his body. The reasoning behind this is that the scale-like designs all over his body act as actually scales, giving him an extreme amount of durability, enough to almost match an actual Dragon's. The thickness of the scales is enough to block the attack of a Sword Magic spell and then even shatter the blade that was used in it. Durability isn't the only thing that got enchanced. His physical endurance also got increased immensly. He is fully capable of firing multiple Secret Arts without tiring or passing out. This form allows him to fight for hours and hours and even days. This is shown when he took over an entire kingdom which took him three days of nonstop fighting. His endurance and durability is enough to the point where he survived being exposed to Magical Barrier Particle, something that would kill about one hundred normal humans in seconds.
Dragon Slayer's Ultimate Art (滅竜極義, Metsuryū Gokugi): The final and ultimate technique that is taught to a Dragon Slayer by their dragon parent. This technique is meant to be used on death-situations only as this technique is very destructive to the point of making cities or even complete islands disappear, it also drains the user's entire magical energy. Ultimate Arts are unique to a certain individual and are more powerful than the Secret Arts. Usually a normal Dragon slayer can have up to one spell as it matches the number of elements that they are able to use. Despite there are some Dragon Slayers that are capable of obtaining a Dual Element Dragon Mode, they are unable to create another spell using the mode as only actual Dual Element Dragon Slayer are capable of doing so. Some Ultimate Arts are so powerful that if they are used in conjunction with Dragon Force or Draconic Sovereign, the result of the spell would be an cataclysm although the user would probably die.
- Complete Destruction of Heaven and Earth: Infinite Thunderstorm (天地の全壊・無限雷雨 Tenchi no Zenkai: Mugenraiu): Infinite Thunderstorm is Jason's Dragon Slayer's Ultimate Art and his final and most powerful spell in his entire Lightning Dragin Slayer Magic arsenal, only useable when the user enters Dragon Force. This spell has been described as "the heavens unleasing it's full wrath apon the earth, creating the unescapable apocalypse of thunder that scars the face of the earth".In order to perform this ultimate technique, the user must first begin to manipulate a unbelievably large amount of lightning into their own arms, causing said arms to glow with increadible and intense light, easily blinding those armount him. The lightning is then launched into the sky as a increadibly large and destructive pillar of raging lightning, easily destroying anything that comes into contact with it. However, this isn't the true ability of the spell. When the pillar of lightning reaches a certain height into the sky, the lightning begins to compress itself into a large glowing ball of electricity. This lightning ball continuously absorbs the eternano from around the area as well as the hidden electric charges found inside clouds. This very spell causes immense thunderstorms to rain down on the surrounding land, hinting at it's immense power. When the lightning ball absorbs electricity from the sky, it begins to split itself into multiple smaller lightning balls, until the point where there's thousands of lightning balls in the sky. Once all of the lightning balls are created, the spell can finally begin. Each and every orb of lightning releases about a hundred lightning bolts, causing the sky to be filled with so many lightning bolts that it literaly destroys everything in the surrounding area, not even leaving ash behind. These giant lightning bolts that are summoned from the sky can create raging tempests that can drag in the opponent and completly decimate them, truly showing the fact that this powerful spell literaly causes "the apocalypse" to occur, one where nobody escapes. Despite the ultimate power of this almighty spell, it has it's own drawbacks. First of all, the spell itself requires an extreme amount of Magical Power, to the point where a single use of this can cause the user to pass out or worse. Second, this spell is extremly destrucitve, not only harming the opponent, but everything else around them, including their own allies, the surrounding structures and even the user themselves. The third being that it actually takes a bit of time to actually utilize, as the lightning must be focused and compressed to it's utmost limit.

Dual Element Dragon Mode (モード二元的要竜, Mōdo Nigentekiyōryū): Only a few Dragon Slayers have obtained the ability to consume elements other than their own, allowing them to combine both elements inside their bodies and enabling them to utilize the properties of both, as well as increasing their own destructive capabilities. It is also shown to have exceptional penetrative power, and using this ability has been described as similar to using Dragon Force. Even though it's momentary, the user is able to call upon it when they are in a state of anger. However, this ability places a heavy strain on an untrained body, to the point that even a single use is capable of completely draining the user of all their energy. If the user boosts up their power, they are able to use this ability more easily with less strain. However, aside from a few cases, the Dual Element Dragon Mode is extremely difficult to obtain; hence why some have opted to create the Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic.
Jason's exclusive Dual Element Dragon Mode is called Ice Storm Dragon Mode (モード氷嵐竜, Mōdo Hiranryū); Jason was able to gain this ability after he accidentally devoured the ice from a Ice Dragon Slayer, and having the lightning and ice inside his body fuse together, Jason gains the ability to use his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic along with ice. This ability allows for devastating abilities and properties from both elements, both freezing them in their tracks and electrocuting them to a crisp. It is also displayed to have extraordinary piercing and crushing power. Using this ability has often been described as similar to using Dragon Force. Even thought it was for a brief moment, Jason was able access this mode when he is within a state of anger. Something to note is that when the lightning and ice are combined, Jason is capable of conjugating frozen lightning. He is able to blast his opponents with the cold electricity, freezing them and gaining extra momentum while he is within battle. However by doing this, Jason places a heavy tax on his body, to the point where if he uses this ability even once, he will be drain of all his energy and open to attacks, which is something he is trying to work around.
- Ice Storm Dragon's Roar (氷嵐竜の咆哮, Hiranryū no Hōkō): Ice Storm Dragon's Roar is a more powerful version of Lightning Dragon's Roar, which is only available when Jason is using Ice Storm Dragon Mode, incorporating the elements of lightning and ice. Though this spell, the user is able to inhale deeply, gathering a large amount of air in their mouth before converting their Magical Power into lightning and ice, then unleashing it as a powerful blast of both electricity and frost that damages, electrocutes and freezes any targets that get in it's way. Similiarly to his normal Lightning Dragon's Roar, this spell can be performed in multiple ways. The first and the seemingly more common form of this spell is to store the lightning and ice in their mouth before releasing it in the form of a concentrated, destructive blast of raging lightning and sub-zero frost. This powerful destructive blast of lightning and ice is capable of leveling an entire island, wreaking havoc to anything that gets in its way. Once this spell makes contact with an object, it will unleash both frigid ice and storming lightning upon whatever is stricken by it, both freezing and electrocuting them in the process. This spell is very fast, moving a great amount of distance within a few seconds, as well as destructive, taking out a small mountain with a single shot. In addition to the immense power of this spell, it also possesses numerous electrically-charged ice shards that can shred the opponent's body easily. Despite this spell's immense power, it has a major drawback, as a single use of this spell could completely drain the user of their Magic Power. The other and seemingly easier and faster use of this spell is combining the lightning and ice in the user's mouth before releasing it, resulting in a powerful blast of frozen lightning. This blast isn't as large or as destructive as the first variant, but it's much faster and it can flash freeze whatever it touches. Unlike the first variation, this spell doesn't take up all of the user's Magical Power with one use.
- Ice Storm Dragon's Crushing Hammer (氷嵐竜の崩撃, Hiranryū no Hōgeki): Ice Storm Dragon's Crushing Hammer is one of Jason's unique Dual Element Dragon Mode spells, which are only available when Jason is using Ice Storm Dragon Mode, incorporating the elements of lightning and ice. In order to perform this spell, the user must first gather a large amount of cold energy from the surrounding and absorb it into one of their arms. While they is doing this, he is also creating lightning, causing both the cold energy and the lightning to fuse together into one. This causes his arm to be surrounded in a gauntlet of frozen blue lightning. Once the user has absorbed and generated enough of the cold lightning, they charge towards the opponent at full speed. When the user is close to the opponent, they begin to deliver a strong punch towards the opponent. When they do this, the cold lightning that is compressed into the arm is released as a large blast of freezing blue lightning. This frozen blast of electricity is capable of both freezing and electrocuting the opponent as well as all of the surrounding area in it's mighty frozen wrath. This spell is extremly powerful, being capable of freezing an entire building with one blow, as well as defeating a giant with no effort exerted at all. This spell also holds explosive power, as when used at close range, it can result in a powerful electrical frost explosion that can freeze the entire landscape as well as electrocute anyone and anything in that particular area.
- Ice Storm Dragon's Wasteland (氷嵐竜の荒地, Hiranryū no Arechi): Ice Storm Dragon's Wasteland is one of Jason's unique Dual Element Dragon Mode spells, which are only available when Jason is using Ice Storm Dragon Mode, incorporating the elements of lightning and ice. In order to perform this spell, the user must first generate and absorb a large amount of cold energy into the palm of their hands. When the user has absorbed and generated enough cold energy, they slam both of their hands into the ground, causing the cold energy to erupt into the ground. This causes the cold energy to spread around and into the ground, causing ice to generate and spread around the area at a alarmingly fast paste. The ice generated causes everything that makes contact with it slowly turn into a ice sculpture. If the opponent somehow manages to evade being frozen into a living popsicle stick, they usually slip and fall on the slippery ground of ice underneath their feet. Once the user has generated this icy floor, the user can manipulate it to whatever desire they want. Some examples could be creating multiple ice spikes from the ground to skewer the opponent or generating large sheilds or domes of ice to protect the user from enemy attacks. Along with these abilities, the user is also capable of conducting electricity through the ice on the ground, allowing them to electrocute everyone standing on the ice as well as empower to created ice structure with electricity to do double the amount of damage.
Dragon Slayer's Secret Art Revision (滅竜奥義 改 Metsuryū Ōgi Kai): A revised version of Jason's regular Dragon Slayer Secret Arts, only accessible in Ice Storm Dragon Mode.
- Storming Heavens: Severe Cold Lightning Strike (襲撃天・極寒雷走 Shūgekiten: Gokkan Raisō): Severe Cold Lightning Strike is Jason's Secret Art Revision and his most powerful spell in Ice Storm Dragon Mode, incorporating the elements of lightning and ice. In order to perform this powerful spell, the user must first begin to generate a large amount of raging lightning in one hand and a large amount of sub-zero ice on the other hand. Both the lightning and the ice start becoming more intense by the second, releasing large amounts of Magical Power. When the user has generated enough lightning and ice, they begin to charge towards the opponent at a rather fast pace. During this, the user begins to cause both of their hands to swirl around each other, causing both the lightning and the ice to fire off at the same time. During this attack, the lightning and the ice fuse with each other at an extreme rate, causing them to generate a blizzard of frozen electricity which is aiming straight for the opponent. When the spell finally reaches the target, the created lightning blizzard begins to freeze the opponent internally and externally, as well as electrocuting them violently. Not only this, but due to the rotational power and immense winds caused by this spell, the opponent is also barrages with multiple cold wind blades that slash and cut into their body, making it even easier to freeze them from the inside. Despite it's immense power, it has some of it's own drawbacks. First off, after using this spell, the user is left feeling extremly tired, to the point that they usually just pass out right there and then. Secondly, it's quite possible that the user may accidently freeze their own arms when casting this, as the cold winds reach temperatures that are sub-zero.

oted to be extremely similar to several "alt modes" of other Dragon Slayers. However, it has a peculiar activation condition—in order to gain access to Draconic Sovereign, the user must have bathed in or drank the blood of the dragon whom mentored them in their particular Dragon Slayer Magic. Despite this, the activation conditions of both Third Generation and First Generations of Dragon Slayers are drastically different. In order for a First Generation Dragon Slayer to gain access to Draconic Sovereign, they must form a miniature magic brand upon their body, which is forged for the sole purpose of containing the blood of their dragon parent. When the user goes to activate Draconic Sovereign, they will first consume a large amount of their element, as to activate Dragon Force, at which their magical aura flares up and into the magic brand, causing Draconic Sovereign to activate immediately. In the case of a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, to manifest Draconic Sovereign, they must achieve Dragon Force and Drive simultaneously, causing the magic uprise to be channeled into their blood, causing the transformation to initiate. Upon any method of activation, Draconic Sovereign's power causes the user to take upon a more, well, draconic visage, such as developing the organs of a dragon, horns, the tail, and even wings. This of course gives the user an incredible power boost all across the board, but it is incredibly hard to maintain as it drains the user of their stamina and magic at a fast rate—in fact, the most that the user can maintain this form is for fifteen minutes maximum. Despite it's amazing power, Draconic Sovereign has a glaring weakness—if the user utilizes it excessively, then they would be permanently stuck in this form; while the ability to utilize Dragon Slayer Magic would vanish.
Jason is one of the very few Dragon Slayers that are able to achieve Draconic Sovereign, the final and ultimate technique of a Dragon Slayer. During his childhood, he accidentally injured Rakurai with a powerful spell and drew blood. Rakurai ordered Jason to bathe in some of the blood in order to become stronger in his Dragon Slayer Magic arts. This inturn gave Jason dragon-based abilities that far outclass any of his previous abilities. Due to the fact that he is a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, he activates his transformation through a specific way. In order to manifest Draconic Sovereign, he must achieve Dragon Force and Drive simultaneously, causing the magic uprise to be channeled into his blood, causing the transformation to initiate. Doing said abilities is truly taxing on his body, thus he needed a extreme amount of endurance in order to even attempt to activate this ultimate form. During the transformation, he recites his chant that represents both his and his foster father. After reciting it, his entire body is engulfed in a immensly destructive pillar of static electricity so powerful that literal thunderstorms start to form due to the immense atmospheric pressure. Once the lightning disappears, his transformation is finally revealed. When in this form, Jason's skin turns into a dark grey and his hair get longer, as well as being a darkish grey as well, although being slightly more dark. Although, the most noticable thing is his gigantic wings that are protruding from his back. These wings look more like massive grey claws instead of wings. Despite this, he can still use them to fly. His eyes change in coloration, becoming black with a red center. Also, he gains strange black markings that run across his nose. While utilizing this powerful form, Jason states that he is offically the Incarnation of Rakurai (落雷の化身, Rakurai no Keshin), claiming that he now holds the power of his foster father, Rakurai. Requip (換装 (レキップ), Rekippu lit. Express Elementary): Requip is a Holder Magic used by multiple mages which pertains to the summoning of various types of equipment. This Magic allows the user to store items in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon it at any time, even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat. It is said that the user summons the items from a pocket dimension; the notional place that things come from when they are needed, and where they go back to when not. The actual location of where they summon the items is very hard to determine. It contains only a few things, not because it is limited in capacity, but because that is all it is ever used for - for example, this is where the user normally summons the armour and their equipment; withdrawing things even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store. Requip can be used for simple or for combat-related purposes; and the user may just choose to use it to change their clothing, capable of using it in the midst of battle. The user would often pull any items that they had collected out of nowhere and then they would just vanish without any physical means of transporting them. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store. Jason tends to use this Magic to either store his Excalibur or to change his clothes.

Jason and Lance are said to be best friends. When they first met, they didn't get along so well which kept them at odds with each other. Jason's fun loving and confident personality starkly contrasted Lance's more serious and cold personality. Because of this, they would very often get into arguments over very simple problems such as what taste better. It got to the point where they would get into an all out fight with both of them using their powers to the max. These arguments were usually stopped by Elise however. After they went on more adventures with each other and knew each other better, they gained a brotherly relationship and a sort of rivalry. Its said when the two are paired up, there's nothing that can stop them.

Jason and Elise are very close friends. When they first met, Jason found her rather attractive and beautiful. On the other hand, Elise didn't share these feelings and thought of him as really wimpy and weird. That is until Jason single-handedly defeated The Knights of Holy Blood, causing her to believe him to be a powerful and reliable gentleman, and ever causing her to have feeling for him.
