Nicholas Avernicus (ニコラス アベーニクス Nikolas Abēnicus, lit: Victory of the People of Hades) is the Guild Master of the Dark Guild known as Fraus Lumen. He is an enigmatic figure in the world of magic who boasts immense power yet is hidden from those who run the world of magic. However, among the populous of the Dark Guilds, Nicholas' power has fame rivaling that of the Wizard Saints in the legal system. He is known by his moniker of Blood-Stained Hand (汚れた手 Yogoretate).

Nicholas' General Appearance
A man who cannot be missed by the trained or untrained eyes, Nicholas' appearance is rather unorthodox, a small smirk lays upon his face all the time, merely accentuated by the azure eyes, tinted with crimson lining to strike fear into the eyes of those who meet him. Nicholas bears an angular facial structure, with sharp facial features that give him an overall handsome disposition. One of his more distinctive features is his silver hair, it is neck-length, with his fringe parting to his right, obscuring his right eye. His build is quite broad, yet lean, considerably muscular, but not overdone as some would prefer to do.
Nicholas' attire is rather unusual one could say. It is a form of military uniform that isn't normally seen by Dark Mages of Nicholas' caliber. It seems to remind him of his past days, and wears it to remind himself of the horrid years he spent, and the revenge he shall gain from his goals. It consists of a large, double-breasted black cloak with golden lining and several patterns, including very animalistic patterns. This is coupled with a black tank-top underneath this and a pair of pants and shoes that match his jacket.
