Ello Friends, it is that time again. The time when some jerk shoves his project in your faces with hopes of finding interest just so that I can feel good about myself.
Some may want me dead for this, but I've made a new organization known as Sine Missione, a military Spec Ops task force from misntrel, looking for new members to do the nation proud. But at this point you may be wondering: "What sort of missions would a military group take on except... War Missions" Now hold on, I can feel you juding me. I can feel that shiver up the spine, and it ain't a nice feeling. Yes, this is more or less a "War Arc" thing. But there are some differences though. It is AU, so don't worry about messing up continuity. Second, you know how there are rarely if ever any stakes to the battles. The defenders are often in the right and wins and nothing is out of the ordianry once it is all over. Well, I am to turn that on it¨'s head. This time, you get to be the attacker, the conqueror.
For example, there will be consequenses to this. Each mission builds up to the conquest of a nearby area, expanding the borders of hte nation if the missions are successes. Failure and lack of activity will see the borders shrink as the enemy pushes back. Think of it like a game of Risk. I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea, if anyone's, but I have had fun thinking this up and thought about seeing if there is any public interest. Whats more, it is not a site-wide event of sorts. It is restrcted to the group and the stories the members write up for the missions. Everything is in your hands.
The group is rather lighthearted amongst comrades and most of them do have a certain moral compass of their own, but one which will be asked to be ignored for some of the missions at hand. Let me know if anyone is interested or have questions. Expect a certain amount of hostility for the newcomers however. I am eagerly awaiting the humiliation of no one wanting to join!
PS: This will extend as an apology letter to those who took the time and effort to making something for my old organizaton, The Prophets. I am ashamed of how I simply let it fall to dust, and I hope to not repeat my mistakes. I will hopefully return to the project in due time, but an apology for all those who made the effort.
