In all seriousness, I'm quite, well, serious about what I'm about to say.

It hasn't even been a god-damn week, when we were supposed to hold a revote. And yet, all it took was two days for something to go wrong. I'm not blaming anyone nor am I shaming any of you, hell if I did that'd be wrong, all some of y'all were doing was voicing your opinions, even if some were delivered in a rather blunt tone, but in any case, I'm sure some of you know of what happened in this thread.

Gee whiz, y'all. Just..gee whiz.

Anyway, to get to the point, this thread immediately highlighted the problems of Message Walls, at least to me. Sure, Message Walls are easier to keep track of and messages send faster, plus you can close threads, it's just how it's implemented. Talk Pages are less visual than Message Walls, whereas a message wall edit works like a thread, so it displays it, everyone can see it, and everyone joins in. This can lead to stuff like what happened above.

While I'm not going to switch back to talk pages without a vote, since that'd be unfair- after all, a silent majority of users are handling them quite well, I'm quite happy about that. But in any case, I'm going to ask you all a personal request- could you reevaluate what you'd like, talk pages or message walls? Additionally, I'd also like to remind you that in regards to debates/arguments on message walls, they only are discussed by the two parties plus an admin and maybe people involved in the subject, so that stuff like this won't escalate again.

We're going to hold a revote at the end of the week, a blog will be posted about it.

Thank you.
