I think we may not allow users to make Devil Slayer until we know exactly how Devil Slayer works (beyond the obvious slaying Devils). We don't know of their breath attacks, etc etc. I know this may be an unpopular choice but all it is is just a few more weeks, if only next week, alright? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 00:41, September 28, 2013 (UTC)
Here's a question. If you had to chose actors to voice any of your characters, who would you have them be?
Hey Zico, is plagarism from a fellow user grounds for an insta-ban, or a warning first? Just checking, since I issued Xz791 a warning for stealing content (and a request it be removed) as opposed to banning, since he's really never done anything like it before.--The Eleventh Doctor (Trust me. I'm the Doctor.) 22:30, September 28, 2013 (UTC)
Stole some things from one of Hana's chars, she brought it to my attention, so I left a comment on his article showing what was stolen and with a message to remove the content. I also notified him on his talk page to check his article, but he seems to have missed the message...and yet is still somehow editing.--The Eleventh Doctor (Trust me. I'm the Doctor.) 22:47, September 28, 2013 (UTC)
I had finally decided on an image for my main character. I was gonna use haru glory from rave master, however over the weekend I found that their was a fairy tail x rave master ova out. What I wanted to know was should I just not use any rave master characters images now that they have appeared in a fairy tail cross over? --True-Clown-Prince (talk) 17:24, October 1, 2013 (UTC)

Funny that you mention that, since, I have school for 8 more weeks -.- So it'd be hard to discuss it. Perhaps this weekend? Since it's the first week back and I'mma hand in the Chem assignment due in on Friday, it'd be slightly lax.~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 20:19, October 7, 2013 (UTC)
hey Zico, could you delete Stagnos/Stagnian Army and Stagnos/Divisions? I'm gonna reconfigure the entire government and military, so i won't need those two pages anymore Sifu (The Dojo) 01:51, October 2, 2013 (UTC)
Message to all admins Edit
On 9:54pm california time, I encountered a user who told me that his original name before being banned from this wiki was Goku, though I do not remember the rest of his full name, he was banned from the wiki after some disturbing comments. The user was DiceRoll125, and it had been brought to my attention that he was committing sock-puppetry. After talking with him, I told him to leave the chat and to not return to the wiki or I would have to ban him from the chat and ask you all to reban him again. I saw that gif for Chronicles of a Mage, and I think it's pretty awesome. I was wondering, could you teach me how to make one?
Hey Zico, I have made a character, Shay with my magic, Butterfly Magic. I wanted to make the article a little more interesting by putting types of butterflies along with her magic. However, It's quite difficult to find pictures of certain butterflies that are drawings. I was thinking if something along the lines of this would be alright? Arigatou.

Avatar Discussion goes here Edit
I'm looking forward to Korra to finally do some thinking, not just bust heads. (also, notice how she used airbending instead of water or fire? With her memory gone she might be defaulting to the element of choice for Aang). But I loved how subtle the foreshadowing about Varrick was; he's normally all over the place, expressive and buffoonish, and with that ONE smirk we saw how much of an act his behaviour really is. I can't blame Asami for what she did doe. Honestly, I wish Bolin'd do more >_> He's so awesome and all he is is comic relief. I generally did like it but part of me thinks that the creators are trolling the fanbase with the shipping now, no matter how justified those moments are. I don't know if this is your juristiction, but your the only one here right now, so i'll ask anyway. Sorry about those categories. I was just putting categories I would put my self in if I was a mage; I went a little to far with my imagination. I have to ask, did you delete everything in my profile? It's just a big blank on there, and I think I put something there. Also, how do you make templates? CrEPation (talk) 18:16, October 21, 2013 (UTC)

Forgot to put a headline( I believe that's what it is), so sorry if I didn't edit my last message; I can't find it.
I believe I said I'm sorry, and I put in categories I would put myself in if I would be a mage; I got overcarried with my imagination. I also aked on how do I make template? Just in case you didn't see my last message.
Didn't see that till now; I kinda got confused on the edit summary, and didn't really understand that well. I saw on another fan wiki a user putting Under Construction, so I thought I could do it as well given I haven't finish editing my profile page. I'm just new here; how things work here are now coming to me.
Can I create a new race? The Conqueror's race.
Well the race is basically an prototype of Artificial monsters and Cyborgs with lacrimas implanted inside, their purpose is chasing wanted. Like this :P DamonSalvaditore 20:28, October 22, 2013 (UTC)DamonSalvaditore
Now I'm gonna create. Later you see and give opinion pls.
No need to apologize, i know. I'm gonna explainDamonSalvaditore 21:03, October 22, 2013 (UTC)DamonSalvaditore
Well here the explaination. Well, the conqueror are man-made monsters created for the futher purpose of an indestructible army. They were created as well to chase wanted people and do some works as helping with building places. They are quite divided in the monster type and humanoid type. Monster type are reptile-like creatures with medium or great size being aquatic, flying or normal; They are imlanted with different types of lacrima, resisting the implantation of 3 lacrimas, however transformation and requip type lacrimas isnt approprietated as they destroy the creatures body. The humanoid types are most suited with elemental type lacrimas, and even requip, they are very great in size.

Clearing Things UpEdit
Ash and Per said that as long as they are relatives of minor canon characters, they can be made with an admin's permission. Example: Fino Corona. I recieved approval from Per. I don't know all the details, so if you don't know about this, I guess talk about it with Ash and Per. Sifu (The Dojo (╯°□°)╯) 22:15, October 22, 2013 (UTC)

Mass Empty Page CreationEdit
The reason I posted a slew of empty pages is because my dad was forcing me to get off the computer and also, I did not want to find more people using that constellation because I had to slug through so much to find only a few that I could use. I had very little time to do what I did and I will take your comment into consideration.
Hey Zico, I know you're pretty on top of quality control and making sure things stay within the realm of Fairy Tail, so I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm taking a shot at making a Wizard Saint and Alexander Macedon is my attempt at it. Right now I'm working on his abilities and magics, but since I want to hit all the criteria and requirements for a Wizard Saint, I want to make sure that you're aware that he's going to be beefy. But I also want to take my time at writing him so its not a crap article.
Alright, i've laid out his magic. Its actually funny because Ash has a Law magic also and we spent a few hours yesterday coming up with this idea of a group of mages that each possess a Law magic (we're only sticking with 3 for now) that primarily serve as a diplomatic group under the Magic Council that serve as peace ambassadors to neighboring countries and regions. Ideally, Alexander won't be used in RPs because of the relative power he wields but I wanted to take a shot at making a Saint also. Northstar1012 (talk) 04:26, October 26, 2013 (UTC)
You recently deleted one of my pages, and one of the reasons (I understand the rest of them), was that OC's aren't allowed to be related to canon characters. This isn't actually in the rules, so why does this rule exist?
If you want, you, me and the other admins can talk this over. We actually said to the other users that the only relatives can be very minor. Funnily enough Ashy was the first one to make a canon relative, not Yahoo; so that's when we needed to put that rule in, if my memory serves correct. I'd say if we're gonna allow this rule we'd have to go through a list of characters who can be allowed. This is just me, but I allow it as long as it doesn't mess with canon whatsoever; basically very minor characters (redundant, huh). But I get what you mean, y'know? Now back to bed, you woke me up lol :P The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 16:25, October 27, 2013 (UTC)
I was thinking, Zico. I wanted to talk to all the admins about this, but maybe, in a few weeks-months, we should remove the restrictions on the 4 original Slayers per person rule? I mean they aren't getting abused anymore. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 02:57, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
I'm thinking of allowing people to make Devil Slayers at the end of the year. If Hiro doesn't reveal anything by the end of 2013, and people get too impatient, that is. How does that sound to you? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 03:08, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
Boss man Edit
When Skit got the idea to make angels, Ash was right there to give it it's approval and I can vouch for it, but I think he forgot to tell you about it. If it's still against the rules then I understand, but I wanted to let you know that Skit at the time did have permission and the okay for it. PhantomBeastKing (The Raging Spirit) 02:36, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
Hey Zico. May you delete some of my pages for me? They are: A.M.I.G.O, Samurai Desu, 9Fox, Box, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Jabberwock, Lewis, Maeda Toshiie, Mōri Terumoto, Ougi Himitsuri, Patchouli Gardenfield, Shizugatake, Martha Augustine, Testament Union, The Queen's Throne, Uesugi Kagekatsu, Ukita Hideie, Youkou Kurenai and École de Sorcellerie. (EDITED)
Canon Wizard Saints/Inactive Users? Edit
Heyo, Zico. Been a while, huh? Sorry for being inactive, I only have 8 days more of this inactivity! Anywho, I was just wondering. We have a few inactive users with their mages as the Wizard Saints (aka Hiroya Shirahana and Lucia Morgan) along with the canon Wizard Saints still there. I'm just wondering, should we remove the Canon Wizard Saints to give others the opportunity to apply? And I'm unsure what to do with those inactive users' mages. So, yeah.~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 20:40, October 29, 2013 (UTC)
Article of the Month Edit
== To Admins
I come to ask that you take an idea that came to mind on the chat into consideration, to make this wiki more community friendly, I proposed making an AMV showing the Fanon characters in their anime, to act as a sort of Theme song for this wiki. I know it seems like something the admins would do, but we also wish to have a form of voice for the wiki. When it is completed, I will personally link you to it, by then I hope that it will be possible to add it to the main page of the wiki along with a full list of fanon characters that participated in the Amv. The idea was mine to begin with so if any punishment should occur, then I will take full responsibility for it. Please tell me your thoughts on my talk page. BeastKing (Savage Spirit) 03:26, November 1, 2013 (UTC)
Zico, I was thinking, maybe we should ban anon edits on our wiki so that there won't be any trolls? I checked with the community and I'm going to ask Aha and Ashy soon, but what do you think? We can just contact central on this. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 02:41, November 2, 2013 (UTC)
Hey Zico, I need have an error on my character template. You think you can help ?
So I sent an email to community central to get the anon edits disabled. Anyway, User blog:Perchan/Article of the Month, can you cast your vote? Nobody could think of a suitable candidate so I just asked around and we have the main five. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 23:18, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

I'M ALIVE!!! Edit
Lol, sup Zico? i saw your message in chatango today. Yeah, I'm alive, I just had my practical and theoretical driving tests these past few weeks. I don't know how it is in US, but the theoreticals are mandatory here and you do them two times. Including the practical, that makes 4 tests. Makes me kinda sorry that I started to learn it, tho I s'pose it's useful in the long run. Got mah license btw and I'm finally free <:3 Sorry to drop out like that, but I had to do some serious studyin' and driving. About the RP, would you like to continue it, or are you not interested anymore. It's fine if you're not, it has been a while. The Ground His Armored Goddess Walks Upon (Welcome To The End!) 15:48, November 4, 2013 (UTC)
LOL, that's it? 20 questions in two parts? We have to study about 34 tests with 45 questions each. Later, the actual test itself is a random combination of questions from the study tests. We need to do this twice :X I hate my life. Anyways, sure about the RP. You no longer interested in the concept, or do you think it would be too complicated? The Ground His Armored Goddess Walks Upon (Welcome To The End!) 16:50, November 4, 2013 (UTC)
Oh yes, soulful... We were going to get a bit too complicated with it, weren't we? Well, I'm still rather busy with home and stuff, dunno about you, so maybe by the end of the month? Hey, Zico. By the way, I was wondering if we could abolish the rule about not making our own versions of main characters? Obviously we'd restrict their usage, and probably require permission from an admin, and a solid reason to do so, but considering the way some articles have bent the rules without any consequence, I think it would be effective in abolishing it to some extent, anyway. Plus, it might incite a bit more creativity in personal stories and collaborations, no? I mean, even you've used Team Natsu in your story a few times, so, yeah. Of course, if you have another alternative, please don't hesitate to tell me.~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 05:27, November 5, 2013 (UTC)
'MURICA! But yes, the whole admin permission and sensible circumstance works quite well. -grins because I can now use Gray- XD But, yeah. We won't let just anyone fanonize them - it'd be a decision based on their own original take on the character, the context which they will use them in (don't want any Dark Mages out of Team Natsu now do we?), as well as (perhaps?) how effectively they can use them in their personal stories and/or collaborations? And on that note, I'm off. Final exams for a subject frighten me >_>~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 19:35, November 5, 2013 (UTC)
Excuse me Zicoihno, I was wondering if I could use Halberd Magic for a character I'm making in my Sandbox?

If I'm trying to find an image, when I get back, the page is gone. WHY??? Please tell me about this as soon as possilbe, if there is something I'm missing, I'd like to know.
Hi Zico, after a long break and thinking this is likely to be my last message. I rarely get on fanon anymore due to work and personal reasons... Anyway I soory to say this. Hey Zico, the poll results for banning anon edits are positive. However, last time I sent the message about them asking to implement the feature for banning anons, they sent an email saying "It is possible to restrict anonymous editing, but we generally recommend against it. It’s harder to build a community that blocks anonymous contributors, since a lot of first time visitors will want to try out the site before logging in and creating an account. Forcing people to log in first can put people off and slow the growth of your community. It is true that more problem edits can come from anonymous editors, but accounts are also easy to make and it’s likely that vandals and spammers will just switch tactics rather than go away. Above all, the main reason we recommend keeping a wikia open to editing for everyone is that it's just friendlier that way. Open editing is an ideal, one that wikias were built on. We think it's good to keep wikias that way. Of course, there may be special circumstances on particular communities, and we are always willing to listen to any specific considerations you might have. Feel free to take some time to think this over. If you do want to restrict anon-editing, please hold a community discussion on the wikia (not on chat) so the rest of the community can give their opinion on this as well. This is something that will need to be on a wikia page, so we can see who wants anon-editing disabled. Once that’s done, let me know how your community wants to move forward."
Proposition because of Boredom Edit
So, you know how Deus made our status' on the Guild "Guild Masters?" (Still love her for that) Well, I was thinking of using that idea actually on the wiki. A site-wide guild; everyone contributes one member into it. You, Deus, Aha and I are co-Guild Masters, while Chat Mods (such as Phantom) could be Guild Ace, and everyone else either an S-Class (preferably experienced users) or normal mages? I just thought that it would be a fun idea~ Though I dunno if it'd give our wiki a hierarchical structure...which I don't really want...But, whaddya think?~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 07:31, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
Just in case u didn't see, yes I am interested in the idea, I just need to know what the idea for it will be so I can create a character for it. BeastKing (Savage Spirit) 04:53, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
So if I'm understanding it correctly, our characters will try and be the voice of reason to not slay their own allies, which leads them to fighting against those who only see the dragon's as enemies and want their blood. If I'm wrong, sorry and I'll give it another re-reading, but the concept is awesome and that is something I really hope we can do after we finish the Genosha RP. BeastKing (Savage Spirit) 19:42, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
Okay, well it's not my usual cup of tea to see a bittersweet ending, but hey, I gotta learn to adapt when in writing so figure better to learn while in the RP with u Zico. As for the Name, I was thinking maybe Dorthy Raven, just something that I came up with on the spot. Aside from that, I need to finish Dextra, the Dragon that taught her how to use the Ruby DS BeastKing (Savage Spirit) 19:42, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
I know, believe me I'll be able to take it so no need to worry about me, and really the dragon is for another thing also besides the era RP. What is this I don't even Edit
Hey Zico, I had a small idea, you might like. Would a contest where people send in magic be good? The winner gets a magic made by me. It's kinda like a "featured magic" thing. Lemme hear yer two cents, please. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 06:24, December 6, 2013 (UTC)
So, Zico, allow me to elaborate. What I planned was, along with a "featured character" article, we'd also have a "featured magic" article. However, to make it a bit more fun, I wanted to make it a contest. There's sixteen entrees, and three judges (myself included, for obvious reasons) will rate the articles, in three categories- 1. Originality, 2. Detail behind Mechanics, and 3. Detail behind Effects. The first round, only eight people will progress, the second, only four, and the last rounds, two and then we'll decide the winner. The prize will be that that magic will be the "Featured Magic of the Month", and I'll make the winner a custom magic. What do you think about this idea? I'd like to know.
About Haru Edit
My apologies for the hassle with a single character and my thanks for not outright deleting him. The way I saw it, he has appeared in at least 3 canon chapters, with two being around the Grand Magic Games and that made him seem semi-canon in my approach. I looked at him as being in the same realm as filler characters, given that they aren't really canon but we are told not to use their names, images, abilities, etc for fanon characters and having to ask for permission to use them; which is in a way treating them as though they were canon characters. Yes, there are references to Rave on his page, I couldn't in good conscience NOT include at least a little bit. I looked at it as a bit of an "Easter egg" so to speak for those that have kept up with Mashima's work from "Magic-Era's" start. I must say though, I am a little confused because Per said she gave the OK with an agreement from other admins on chatango as well, but I guess you're head admin and can override the majority? I am honestly still not sure as to how the adminship functions around here, so if my previous statement is the case then OK, no worries. If that were the case, what would you suggest to "fix" it? Master Dartz (Talk) 13:13, December 4, 2013 (UTC)
Ah, yes, I misread Per's statement, I thought she got ahold of everyone. My mistake. But changing it up won't be too hard really, though it throws a bit of a wrench into my plans given that now I must find a new way for him to have Ten Commandments, since it is a spear in this universe. If you have any suggestions as to how to go about making him less of a cross-over, I would be more than willing to hear them. Thanks again though for your time. Master Dartz (Talk) 14:42, December 4, 2013 (UTC)

It all depends on what works better for you zico. BeastKing (Savage Spirit) 16:09, December 6, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Zico, I was looking for an idea for what character I could make for the site wide guild and I was wondering if I would be able to use the magic Etherea for my character.
Also, just something I've been wondering but for the magic, do the weapons have to be in contact with the caster at all times or can they be passed to other people?
Rae Vena Edit
Hiya, Zico. By the way, there's a controversy regarding this article and it's name, based on the fact that there's an emerging 24 year old female artist by the same name. I'm unsure whether we should allow Precious to keep the name, as the artist herself posted:
- whoever wrote this... please change the name of this character.... to any thing but Rae Vena.... how about Raee Venna? or Ray Venna (since a Rae as a boy is spelled Ray)
- My name is actually rae vena... and i am a 24 year emerging female artist.... Please search my name on google and see for your self........ its messing with my search engine... :( thank you for understanding. . www.facebook.com/RAEVENAartist email@example.com
Hey Zico Edit
One of the admins from the Rwby fanon , User:EvergreenLeaf , wanted the wiki to have an affiliation with the Rwby so they could come here to work and vise-versa. Perchan suggested I sent it to you to see what you think of it. BeastKing (Savage Spirit) 03:12, December 17, 2013 (UTC)
No sweat. Edit
No sweat, Zico. Yeah, the satisfaction of just winning is a better idea than a prize, I agree. Anyway, what really matters is that you got your stuff done and can relax for Chrissy :P The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 06:08, December 17, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, also Zico, would you like to be a judge for the magic contest? If you're too busy or you just don't want to, that's fine, I understand :P The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 14:01, December 19, 2013 (UTC)
I need to know why my character's page was deleted. You've indicated warnings and I've complied by asking for further suggestions. However and whatever your decision and action to delete the page, I fully believe that such determination to such clause and cause are a mere oversight of not going for mutual interactions. So, I firmly ask to repost such page. Thanks.

RE: Manito Doufu
Yes, I would like to fix the page by toning down what is the acceptable power levels of a 13-year old mage. Which admin do you recommend in helping me figure out this scenerio?
December 19, 2013
RE: Manito Doufu
Ah, no problem, Zico! And, hmm, well, NF did affilate with the RWBY fanon, so why not. Affilating with the German FTF isn't a bad idea either, so sure! This'll be interesting. I told Ashy and Aha too; Aha told me that he has no problem with it, and Ashy will message you over it in a few. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 02:51, December 20, 2013 (UTC)
Yo, Zico! This is pretty late, sorry about that. So, I don't mind affiliating with both of the wikis that have proposed to have affiliations with us. It might help us out in the long-term, and all.~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 00:50, December 21, 2013 (UTC)
Post DCW Edit
Hey Zico. I'm writing to you a generic message I'll also write to the other three admins. I'm working on an idea about the era that succeeds the Dragon Civil War. It has not really been mentioned and I'd like to expand on it, but I first need permission so I'm wondering what you think about calling it the Warring States Period, where, after the destruction caused by the dragons and humans fighting, I'm assuming many kingdoms and countries alike would fall. So how about during a set period (200-300 years?), there was an upheaval, with local warlords (former survivors of the war perhaps?) began sprouting like weeds, all over the place; gorging themselves on the remains of their predecessors and savagely fighting amongst themselves for territory . Granted, Hiro might or might not reveal anything about it, which is what I'm concerned with. What do you think? The Ground His Armored Goddess Walks Upon (Welcome To The End!) 20:26, December 20, 2013 (UTC)
Ah, glad you approve. I'm still in the early stages of this, so I doubt anything significant would be made this year, though considering I got nowhere better to be lol, it might just happen. Happy Holidays Zico, 'case we don't talk and all again this year. :P The Ground His Armored Goddess Walks Upon (Welcome To The End!) 23:39, December 22, 2013 (UTC)
Secret Santa Magic Edit
So, Zico, Ashy and I had an idea. I'd like to run it by you (lol almost said through, sorry) if I can. So, y'know Secret Santa? The users propose what they want, such as a new Lost Magic for a new character, a new Slayer (no new styles doe), Memory-Make for a future character, that sorta thing. Only a select few wishes get granted, which is reviewed by two of the admins, or more if you want. Are you up for it? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 02:54, December 21, 2013 (UTC)
Yo~ By the way, Deus will be out of town for about a week, and she has no wi-fi, and therefore can't do her admin duties. She just thought to get the message across to you, and I will be handling most of magic while she's gone ^^~Phantom (Revisit an Unholy Land) 05:26, December 23, 2013 (UTC)
Hey Zico, Yahoo here. I was wondering, do you have any objection to change the category format to this? With this format, its easier to look for specific pages, and even for people who prefer the current format FTF has, they have the option of changing it freely by just going to the upper right corner, so it looks like this. Aha already said he's fine with it, but wanted me to mention it to the other admins before he did anything, so what do you think? Sifu (The Dojo (╯°□°)╯) 22:53, December 21, 2013 (UTC)
thats the point, with this new format, even if u prefered the old one, you have the option of switching it back just by clicking a button, and if you click that button, it'll turn back to the old format and it'll be default on your computer, that way, we can all have it in the format we prefer. Sifu (The Dojo (╯°□°)╯) 15:16, December 22, 2013 (UTC)
hey i have a question? could you take down the nature's eye magic sense i cant take it down my self sorry for putting it up it seems i could not get the template working right again :(
Since there are three spots open, I was wondering if you could look over Ahura Halcyone to see if she is fit to be a Wizard Saint?

This and ThatEdit
Hey Zico, hope you had a Happy New Year. Anyway, could you delete Girino for me? There's no real reason it needs to exist anymore. Also, was Igoma Somong fit to be a Wizard Saint, or is there anything I need to change before he's accepted? Sifu (The Dojo (╯°□°)╯) 02:24, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
Zico, can I ask you something? If I can, can I get your opinion on this rule , please? I think we talked it over on chatango a few months ago. That also reminds me- we also talked about allowing Devil Slayers to be made next year (this year). What do you think of that? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 01:44, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for your input, Zico :) And yeah, let's waait. Also, I made something for your Magma Dragon Slayer Magic because I was bored at Christmas (don't ask, I was like 'well, why not'). Do you wanna see? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 04:58, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
Magma Dragon's Fist Wave (岩漿竜の拳波, Ganshōryū no Kenha): The second most basic spell of the Magma Dragon Slayer Magic spells; it is also known as the user's main close-combat move. When performing this spell, the user charges their magical energy into one of their fists, compressing it until it reaches its utmost limits; before the user utilizes their Magma Dragon Slayer Magic in order to modify the pure magical energy into their element of magma. Once this is done, the user punches forward with great force; releasing a torrent of magma which appears not dissimilar to that of an over-sized rocket; this "rocket" shoots forward with great force, blasting through weak metals such as steel—in fact, the spell seems to melt all non-magical alloys aside from the densest materials as it remains in motion. Upon impact; the magma rocket causes a medium-sized explosion, which has such an effect that it causes volcanic rock to hit the ground, in a method similar to meteors. True to form, thanks to Magma Dragon's Fist Wave being one of the user's most basic spells, the user is capable of modifying the trajectory of the magma rocket in any way that they wish; such as forcing it to loop around and strike multiple foes, or launching it upwards to bombard the opponent from above. This factor is what makes such a simple spell so deadly—as there are numerous options in which to unleash Magma Dragon's Fist Wave, keeping the opponent guessing each and every time that it is used.

Ah goddamn...I just noticed my signature didn't work out as planned. *sighs* How do you get the space before the signature, anyway? Also, you ever going to use those former spies in your story? Or were they just temporary fodder?:Ashy (Welcome!) 07:03, January 9, 2014 (UTC)
By the way...I have no idea what to do with Richard now that our story's ended...However, do you mind if I use the concept of the military in my story, perhaps? It would give me a way to integrate him and not just abandon him like others I've made.Ashy (Welcome!) 22:35, January 9, 2014 (UTC)

THAT THING'S A GUY?! Edit
Comedic surprise aside, so it was me and Let be was insulting? Well, I don't mind insults to myself (I'm used to them) but insulting Per is definitely part of what ticked me off. And I see, he was blocked on two other accounts…and somehow decided insulting and pestering the admins is the way to go…oy vey. Entitled to his opinion though he may be, we're entitled to an appropriate reaction as well. If it happens again, I'll speak to Blank, he can handle it. --The Eleventh Doctor (Trust me. Fairy Tail Wiki Content Attribution Template? Edit
Yo, Zico. By the way, I was considering that we should make a template like this for the articles that use information written by the Fairy Tail Wiki. It might help with possible future complications, and it just seems like common courtesy, no? Ashy (Welcome!) 12:58, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
Right, last time I promise! Out of the nominations for Featured Article...we need to hurry up and choose, haha. Both Deus and I have agreed on Fyodor, Aha and Deus don't want to have their characters selected for the event, so it's realistically between Fyodor, Markus and Ray. Ashy (Welcome!) 21:56, January 13, 2014 (UTC)
Yo, Zico, there's something we've been needing to discuss for a while now. (haven't got my question yet doe, sorry) Ever since demons appeared as more than giant hulking abominations, there's been something bugging me. Should we be more strict with demons; like people having to ask an admin to make them, or should we continue as normal? Same goes for curses really; should we wait for more info, because for what it seems, the demons seen in tartarus use curses for magic- do you think we can't have one without the other? In short, should we make rules about demons and stuff? Whaddya think about it? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 07:43, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
Oh, yeah, that! Sorry, it slipped my mind for a sec. Out of the list , who do you think is most fitting? I'd personally choose Fydor, but that's just me. (I didn't want to be nominated >_>). Also, maybe tomorrow, my enormous wall of text will be on its own section here. Also, I think you should archive soon, maybe? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 10:30, January 22, 2014 (UTC)
Also, nother' question. This time it's about canon to fanon. We've already established rules. But, this one pertains to newly introduced characters. How long should we wait, until users are allowed to fanonify them? I'm asking because some users want to use some members of the Nine Demon Gates. Should we wait until we know more about curses, to give a simultaineous release date, or anything else? What's your opinion? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 03:53, January 23, 2014 (UTC)
Yah, yer right. Also, I made a new announcement about characters and Curses, since I forgot to a few days ago, so that people won't get. What do you think; can I get an opinion, please? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 05:31, January 24, 2014 (UTC)

It's me again... Edit
Hi Zico! As you can see, I've changed my nickname into RIOO (Rupture Internal Organs Operations). it's not a big deal, but i want you to know that. Anyway, could you vote for the best character?
Hey Zico. I need to ask you something not complicated, but it's necessary. Before my current account I had others and in one of them I created a character called Aiwass. The account's name was Valrohona (if you see the perfil our informations are similar) and I want to know if I can take him for me again. Zaregoto (talk) 13:21, February 2, 2014 (UTC)
Bow Magic Edit
Hey Zico. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to use your Bow Magic? I had placed it on a charater in progress and didn't think it was made yet until the magical blue link appeared lol. So here I am, if I can't, its not a problem. I can always find a workaround. Master Dartz (Talk) 14:40, February 2, 2014 (UTC)
So, at Per's insistence, due to his multiple instances of plagarism from fellow articles on this wiki and others, I've banned User:Alphia Olphion. She said you also agreed, if it persists anyway, and Ash himself seemed on board with it yesterday, so I've gone and done it. I've set the ban to a year until further notice, just checking in with you on that.--The Eleventh Doctor (Trust me. I'm the Doctor.) 02:41, February 3, 2014 (UTC)
*drum roll* Edit
Anyway, here's my idea. Sorry this took so long; but I wanted to write this up and see what other people think. I...really wasn't sure what I was smoking this time, but it brings me back to the Rising Phoenix days of when I'd just smoke some weed and write (I don't smoke weed but the effect is the same).
So, here's what I have. It's going to be about the Human-Dragon War—except it's a less serious take; at least somewhat. The start would have the protagonist, without any magic, fighting with crappy equipment against some powerful dragons and all that; but they'd lose easily, and left for dead, another dragon finds them—not having much time left (as it was nearly killed before), the dragon quickly teaches the protagonist some sort of Dragon Slayer Magic. And yes, they train on it.
But that's the beginning. The truth is, the protagonist is pretty damn bitter about dem flying giant lizards eating their people, so they want revenge. And they used to be a mass murderer (or rather, they still are), so they're hankering for a killing of dem giant flying lizards. Naturally they won't get to kill any doe. But they WILL fight regular mages who'll serve as mooks, and other Slayers. I don't even know why I'm doing Slayer Magic here too tbh, it's just something interesting.
And of course, I'm not gonna take it really seriously; it's just something fun that y'all can enjoy. It'd be a great war comedy, all about shit getting blown up that shouldn't be and large groups of stupid people killing each other for no reason. Like MASH with dragons and magic. I think that, well, I need a break from seriousness for a bit—when Daybreak ends, I want to laugh a bit; it's something that everyone can enjoy—and at the end, I'm going to reveal that it's just a movie released by the Magic Council for propaganda. Basically a silly old war film like Inglorious Baestards, if you've seen that.
Yo Zico, if you're wondering why I haven't been editing much, it's because recently I had an eye infection and I needed surgery. I've just been resting these past couple of days (doe I've still been able to do admin stuff, duh), but maybe tomorrow or the next day (probably tomorrow), I'll be feeling better and ready to rock again. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 11:10, February 3, 2014 (UTC)
Should I ban User:RaythMercury? All he's done is minor vandalism, and has just been rude to everyone, admins and fellow users included.--The Eleventh Doctor (Trust me. I'm the Doctor.) 02:52, February 4, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks! And take all the time you want, there's no rush :P The idea's deliberately silly, but my main concern is do you think that it can be executed properly without getting backlash -I mean, it is an important event in FT mythos and all, but I wanna try and put a lighter spin on it. And I have a few other ideas too (which are far more serious), but we'll leave 'em for later, y'know? Also, see you space cowboy. Crossover Regulations? Edit
Yo. Btw, I dunno if it's just the early morning and having to work on a 4000 word essay last night, or if As Tharn and Universal Court are virtually crossover articles? So, yeah, that's just me.Ashy (Welcome!) 20:30, February 6, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Zico! Also, what was the Gintama Movie like? (is a fan). And watch Inglorious Baestards. NOW. lol. Also, for advice on your story, no matter how much work you do, take time out of your weak to at least publish one chapter/get one section done. Hell, even take a little bit of time in the month out. As long as you can find the time to publish at least a small bit of progress, you won't lose your drive. Even when you go on hiatus, try and think of new story ideas so that when you get back, you'll be motivated to write again~ The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 07:17, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Before I sleep, I have a proposition for you, Zico. Tomorrow, or the next day, Ashy and I are thinking of doing a massive wiki-wide project which involves rewriting all of the magics that Hiro has made and not explained correctly. What do you think of it? We'll also let other users join in and help. Are you in? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 15:43, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Oh? Awesome! Now...to find out where to watch the Gintama movie. Fight Club is amazing. I need to see Curious Case of Bejamin Button doe. Also, Zico, tomorrow, can I run something by you? It's about magics, (yeah I know), but it's also to clear up a problem that users have been having in regard to Dragon Slayer Magic. Ashy and Aha approve, all I need is you to approve :P And Gurren Lagann is amazing. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 15:28, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
Hey Zico, could I create a teacher and maybe 3 students at the most for the Fiore Regal Academy of the Combat Arts, it won't interfere with any of your stories or that, I just think they'd be a good addition to one of mine, also could I use Ares as you don't seem to have used him for a while, sorry it's a lot to ask FbAddict (talk) 22:00, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Dude...that is actually a pretty epic idea. As in, the way you've played around with one of the most mysterious and immoral parts of Naruto into a storyline that could, quite easily, pass off as the reality following the Fourth Shinobi World War (and Kakashi as Hokage to boot) is something that you should totally do! Or, let me help you with. And, even the LEAF (I love the irony here) is just...really, really quite an interesting concept. You should go ahead with this if you can!Ashy (Welcome!) 22:49, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Exactly! Kishi had so much potential, but he was working with the Shounen genre, so he evidently limited himself. You could really take Shin's story a long way, his motivations and goals and everything could be put on the line here. Really, really nice chance for character development and so many other things! Heh, you did a great job thinking of this!Ashy (Welcome!) 23:10, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Yo. Btw, I've banned Alpha on the accounts of multiple plagiarism warnings, lying to the admins later on about that, and then not having permission for God Slayer Magic. It's only a 6 month ban though.Ashy (Welcome!) 05:41, February 9, 2014 (UTC)
Boss Man Edit
Hey, I know spring semester probably started for you same as me today, so when you get the chance at all, it is still your post on the RP22:07, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
Hey Zico, I apologize for the early reply, but I kinda need feedback ASAP; since implanting this idea would be best for the community. So, you know how some people have made Double Element Dragon Slayers? Well, I found a way for that to actually happen- and without it being overpowered. I didn't want to just delete them all- because a lot of users have been making them so far, though if you think I should, I'll mull it over with the other admins, and I probably will. Anyway, Ashy and Aha have approved- so get me feedback whenever you get the time, okay?
Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic (二元的要の滅竜魔法, Nigentekiyō no Metsuryu Mahō): The Dual Element Dragon Slayer is a subspecies magic (亜種魔法, Ashumahō) of Dragon Slayer Magic; or rather, it is a subsection category of the Third Generation Dragon Slayers. The Third Generation Dragon Slayers are brought about by implanting Dragon Slayer Lacrima within the body of a being who learned their Dragon Slayer Magic by receiving the teachings of a Dragon; this allegedly makes them far more powerful than the other two generations of Dragon Slayers. In addition, as of recently, it has been discovered that First-Generation Dragon Slayers are capable of consuming elements other than their own, enabling them to combine both elements inside their bodies and enabling them to utilize the properties of both; providing the Lost Magic users to harness almost unlimited potential—though it is limited to only one other element.
However, upon witnessing these feats at the Grand Magic Games, a certain set of scientists at the Magic Council were awestruck with the amazing powers of the Dual Element Modes; and sought to replicate it without the troublesome drawbacks –namely, a Dragon Slayer can only use the other element at the cost of great exhaustion. This feat was mostly achieved by taking a First-Generation Dragon Slayer, one whom was taught by a single-element dragon, and experimented upon them, dampening their magical origin so that it would be easier to accept a Dragon Slayer Lacrima of an opposing element—however, the Dragon Slayer Lacrima must be capable of mixing with the regular Dragon Slayer Element, for example, Earth Dragon Slayer Magic cannot be compatible with Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic.
But with great achievements, come great disadvantages. As this Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic was obtained illegally and unnaturally, it is said that despite the elements mixing, the Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic is somewhat weaker than the Dual Element Dragon Mode if obtained regularly by a First-Generation Dragon Slayer Magic; however, the Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic is as powerful as a high-tier First-Generation Dragon Slayer Magic. In addition, it has been stated—and later tested and proved—that a user of Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic is unable to consume another element; meaning that two elements is the cap for Dragon Slayers. If a Dual Element Dragon Slayer attempts to prove this wrong, then it will backfire horribly; as the element will short-circuit within their magical origin, landing them in hospital for a few months; or it can possibly kill them. This is what leaves the Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic as powerful, but more of a crutch; while regular Dragon Slayers can grow.
Basically, the Dual Element DS was made because people were making Dual Element Slayers without any proper explanation. We aren't even sure that dragons can teach more than one element- and they probably can't. Theoretically this would be the only way of using dual elements properly which isn't a Dragon Mode. So yeah, it's adding more rules. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 03:30, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
Alrighty-o :) Also, whenever you get the time, can I get an honest opinion? What do you think of the Magic Rewriting project so far? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 10:12, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
Another thing Zico, we should also maybe start discussing what the twins of our characters will be like16:32, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
Yo Zico, Flame just brought up to me something about the Dragon Slayer Magic. I know, admin of magic and all, but I like hearing the opinions of the other admins and users. "Basically how a person might have two dragon parents, one with a different element each that somehow combine into one form." I'm a bit iffy on this one, since I don't doubt it'd be successful but it'd be an overpowered Dragon Slayer with the capacity to consume a third element, with no way to actually bring their power down to a manageable level, whereas the whole point of Dual Element Dragon Slayer Magic being introduced with the rules was to nerf Dual Elements before they became a real problem. What's your opinion? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~)
When I made that blog, it was around 1 something AM anyway, so I probably wasn't thinking it through, and I figured "well, my review blog is going to be anything but, so I should probably warn the general populace" but alright. I didn't even actually expect anyone to really COMMENT on it, so I am surprised.--The Eleventh Doctor (Trust me. I'm the Doctor.) 19:29, February 14, 2014 (UTC)

I decided to use this pic for the twin, figured her eyes could be like the ruby red DS, hope ur okay with it. 00:56, February 17, 2014 (UTC)
OH that's right, I'm sorry I forgot, I've been kind of out of it actually, sorry I'll fix it right now and find a different one, sorry man.03:02, February 17, 2014 (UTC)
Yo Zico, can I show you a concept of mine, and can you give feedback when you have the time, please? Also, on The Lock, Nardox copied information directly from wikipedia- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Yu-Gi-Oh!_GX_characters#Society_of_Light - Thank North for pointing it out to me. He's had his second warning, I think. Do you think we should ban him, or should we wait? The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 05:49, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
I warned him. This is his final warning, like you suggested~ Also, "Combination Spell (合呪, Aiju): A Combination Spell is exactly as it says on the tin—it is a combination between two magics, not dissimilar to that of a Unison Raid; however, it is notably somewhat weaker than a Unison Raid thanks to the user being the only mage who unleashes the spell. A Combination Spell is forged when the user focuses their first spell upon one of their hands or one of their fingers, before doing the same with the second. When this is done, the user brings them together, either by clasping their hands together, or intertwining their fingers—this causes the eternano that composes the twin spells to interact in a volatile manner, exchanging numerous particles before instantly bringing both spells together, forging a fusion of both which the user then casts at the opponent like normal. While this does fuse the two spells in order to produce a far more powerful spell, the user is capable of mixing it up a fair bit—they can choose not to combine the spells, but instead, cause the spells to impact upon their target simultaneously, causing their effects to activate right after each other—this is done by molding the eternano particles to allow them to surge chaotically; causing the twin spells to fly through the air, randomly crashing into one another to cause an uprise of magical energy before striking the opponent. With the Combination Spell Magic Skill, the user is able to combine standard magical spells of any type with any spell which they create themselves, enabling the user to perform enormously powerful attacks."
It's to make battles more interesting, at least I hope it will. I know it's not original and it's been done before, but hey, now we have an explanation and name for combining spells :P Also, this is just a personal opinion of mine, but somebody brought this up to me two days ago- people are complaining at other users when that user's magic is similar to their own. I mean, do you think we should make it apparent that you can have a magic similar to another user's, but you need to put it in your own words (obviously) and give it a unique twist? I mean, it's 2014, nearly every idea has been done in both stories and powers, we shouldn't take the right to creation away from people because of simply 'my idea is similar, you can't make this'. And in Fairy Tail, it's quite plausible that two magic are similar to one another, but have completely different origins. So long as you write it by yourself, and try to individualize it to a certain extent, nobody can say no to that. It'd also make a lot of things easier than needing a large scale revamp to cram every similar idea onto a single page. The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 09:14, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
Also, Zico, I hate to double-message you like this, but a few hours ago, Aha got a message from Knightwalker, essentially, "Hello miss Lastation i don't ask for much but i require a meeting between you or one of the "Guildmasters" of Fairy Tail Fanon... since i want to make up for past sins... and simply wanna talk. If you feel want to respond please look me up on chatango i know back then i was grasping for new ideas to get better but now i feel more better in my writing." Aha responded with "I'll ask Per". Personally, I'm not really too thrilled on it, really -since he probably wants to see and get his ban lifted, but I'm gonna be fair- and as Ashy said to me, we should be fair- that's why I've asked all the admins for an opinion. Ashy seems in support of it, Aha says no, and I'd like to know what you think, please? Also, this . Why the heck not lmao. As stated before, it's satire, something to make people laugh; so take it with a grain of salt :P The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 09:57, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
It's been going since yesterday after the wiki had it's updates, and even now the chat rooms are a wreck, so I sent in a report to try and get it fixed up but still no luck. Guild-Ace (Mmmm check plz) 05:15, February 22, 2014 (UTC)
Story Advice Edit
Alright, as promised, here's some advice on how to write stories.
First off, and this is most important: You know how most people try and keep it within canon and try and fit their works in the universe?
Well, don't do that. Sure, it's good and all, but after you run out of things to do with canon, it just restricts your writing ability and you'll be forced into a writer's block.
Manga accuracy (aka making your character something you might actually see in a legal guild or whatever or doing a similar plot point) holds you back. Try and branch out a bit with both your characters and storylines—use all of your creativity and think of what YOU'D think would be great to use, instead of what would fit the FT-verse. However, don't go overboard with this—it's best to apply subtle little traces of original flavour here and there in articles, but not so much that it completely rewrites canon (for example, don't make a Black Wizard stronger than Zeref, a triple-element Dragon Slayer, spells stronger than Fairy Law, etc). In fact, set your story in an alternate universe so that you have more freedom, and add concepts as you go. You can pretty much do anything as long as at its core, it holds basis in this magical world, really.
As for characters, go wild. Do anything you want; really—but here's a detailed guide:
They need to be believable, they need to seem to be people you could meet at any time in any place. This is essential. You might have the best story line ever, with well-scripted plot turns, perfect foreshadowing, and excellent craft in general, but if your characters are flat, if your reader cannot tell one character from the next, your reader just won’t care about the story.
The main character is the hardest one to make—it's a given that writers always fall into the fact that the supporting casts are more interesting. First, start off with the personality; that means you need to make that character human. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the character needs to be a human being or act exactly like one. Exceptions where a character has an inhuman personality can only be made interesting if human nature is understood first.
First it's important to differentiate between how a character behaves with other characters (the image they give of themselves onto others) and what they really are on the inside. Often, people use masks to hide their real selves mainly for two reasons: in order to hide their inner feelings and secrets, or to be accepted by others. While many authors like to make their characters without any “masks,” this trait could certainly give more depth to your characters.
Another trait is that they have to be likeable! Making a character likable is a real challenge. This is where study comes in. Look around you. Look back into your own history. Who were the people that you just plain felt good being around? Can you distill some of the things they said and did? Can you find a way to incorporate those traits into your character? Keep in mind that the likableness of a character is more than just the way they think or act, but it has a lot to do with how you have the other characters in the story react to him or her.
Your character will “show up” in his or her speech. Will the character be a quick-thinking action-oriented person who speaks in one to two-syllable words, with short sentences and paragraphs? Or will the character be of a poetic bent, speaking in a flowery way? I would strongly advise that you make a general outline of your character's personality—something you'd like, and look over these following questions in order to figure out what you really want.
- How is your character when alone?
- Does your character treat everyone the same? Is your character nicer/meaner/funnier/etc. with certain people? If so, why do they act differently?
- Are the feelings your character expresses on the outside really what your character feels?
- If your character could have unlimited power/anonymity, would your character remain the same person?
- Does your character have a burden/secrets that he/she isn’t able to share?
- What is your character's greatest desire?
- How much would that character give to accomplish it?
- Who does your character love? (friends, family, lovers etc.)
- What does your character enjoy to do in his/her spare time?
- What are your character's hobbies/interests/likes/dislikes?
Then, flaws come into play—your character flaws in order to be a person. Characters that have the same flaws as the audience are considerably easier to identify with than their less flawed counterparts. Some flaws can make your audience identify with the struggles of your character. Other flaws will make your character unique and interesting. Making your characters outgrow some of their flaws can make interesting plot points. However, it is important to avoid giving a character just a single flaw or fake flaws. Characters will and should always have many flaws no matter what, even if those flaws are eventually overcome or controlled through development.
You do need to know what drives your character. What is it that your character is driven to achieve? What does he or she want? This is one of the most essential needs when building a new character. In fact, this is the one thing that you should not neglect no matter what level every character may have in the story. Even the walk-ons need to have a reason for being, and that reason is to accomplish or to obtain something. Do you have a concept you want to use for their drive? If so, that's great, and if you don't, I'll help you think of one.
Now, backstory! The backstory is what your character did before "getting here." After all, when you are writing a story, your characters exist before it, as does the rest of the world you are creating. Planning a sensible backstory for your characters helps strengthen their personality traits and establish their way of life. If your character's story and life is solid enough, they won't feel to the reader as "just a face" that was put there to fill a slot in the plot. In turn, having your character's backstory clearly influence their decisions (even if it is not clear to the audience what the backstory is) helps your readers relate to the character.
Hero and VillainEdit
For the protagonist and antagonist in particular:
The protagonist is pretty simple—all you need to do is make them how you think a 'hero' would act. What's your definition of 'good'? What are their goals, how do they act, etc. One thing to avoid is the typical shōnen overpowered idiot hero archetype like Natsu and Goku. It's been done relentlessly, and it's ANNOYING. How about you make them intelligent, shy, or weak at first, but becomes stronger as the story progresses? Or maybe make them weak but skilled? Again, it's all up to you, but clichés are best avoided like the plague.
The antagonist can be anything—an utter lunatic, an anti-villain- somebody who's easier to sympathize with, a suave and charismatic dude, or somebody like Aizen—but the most important thing is, to make their threat level believable to the point that not only the characters, but the readers, will be scared of them. The best way to do this is to make sure that they don't show up much –like once every two arcs- since you want to keep up the image of an intimidating, unstoppable force, but that's severely undermined if you have them show up in every arc.
But let's get into villain types, shall we?
Types of VillainsEdit
Tragic Villain: A character who, although acting for primarily 'evil' or selfish goals, is either not in full control of their actions or emotions and the reader can sympathize for due to them not being evil by choice; but rather by them being a victim of circumstance. These villains can face a crisis of conscience in which they submit to doing evil. These villains often have confused morals believing that they are doing moral when in fact they are doing evil. Now, these guys, they're kinda hard to do, since having a sympathetic backstory doesn't make you sympathetic in the present—you need to handle them with care. Sure, you can make them easy to sympathize with, but if they cross a line that isn't meant to be crossed- a truly vile act, then unless you take precaution to show it as a mistake/no other choice from their side, people won't care about how sad their past is—they'll want them dead, no questions asked.
Complete Monster: This is the worst of all villains, a villain who is pure evil. And for this kind of villain, doing evil for them is as natural as breathing. They commit acts that are atrocious by the standards of the story, they cause fear, revulsion or hatred from other characters in the story, they are never presented in a positive way, and nothing justifies their crimes, and they cannot feel empathy and never redeem themselves. Now, I know what you're thinking, "these guys are too generic", am I right? Well, not so fast. There's a way around this—don't make them your main antagonist, but rather, one of your main antagonist's henchmen—that way, your villain can still get "cool cred" and awe from the readers, instead of them saying "this guy is basically Hitler/Satan in this universe." Another thing is, you NEED to level the scale of their evil—don't make them "they need to stop this guy before he rapes and murders all the children down the street before torching it"; that's pretty much what most authors do. Aim for a "hot damn, this guy's sickening" angle—so make it so that they're pure evil, but not like Satan Hitler level.
Affably Evil/Noble Demon: Affably Evil are villains who are genuinely polite and friendly in spite of their being villains. They will frequently both speak and act in a polite manner even to the heroes they face, and their friendly nature often comes as a surprise to both those heroes and possibly also the reader. The affable nature is not an obvious facade that the villain is only maintaining to manipulate others. Affably Evil villains really ARE that nice. Basically, they're villains that, while they fight on the side of evil, still have honorable traits. As such, they usually treat their foes and followers with respect and demonstrate some extent of mercy or fair-play, never resort to cheating to win, and keep their end of a bargain that they promise to keep if they lose or if the hero does something they ask. Numerous times, these traits often result in the villain turning to the side of good. These guys are pretty easy to do—but you need to make sure, just like Tragic Villains, you don't make them go over the evil horizon, but don't make them more likeable than the hero, since the reader will quickly begin rooting for your villains to succeed.
Magnificent Bastard: Now, THIS is my personal favourite. They're one who baffles the heroes at every turn with their clever schemes, fights them to a draw with their sheer badassery, and generally speaking makes everyone else, look like a total idiot. They're awesome. They're stylish. They're about as great as villainy can get. However, writing a Magnificent Bastard is EXTREMELY hard—but the payoff is more than worth it; so I'll make it simple. The Magnificent Bastard is, first and foremost, a planner. They have to be able to manipulate events with supreme skill. The Magnificent Bastard needs to be able to manipulate people, by reaching inside them and hitting them where it emotionally hurts. The best Magnificent Bastards have an intuitive grasp of a character's basic psyche and will use it against them at every opportunity. They need to have the ability to think on the fly, adapting to new situations and altering plans with ease. Without this factor, even the greatest Bastards won't last long. The Magnificent Bastard has to be a magnetic character, drawing both other characters and the reader to them. All villains are ultimately, on some level failures, (most of the time), but the Magnificent Bastard is a failure on a grand scale, the kind of person you simply cannot look away from. How about you pair them with the Complete Monster; it'd be a nice way of showing how great they are in comparison to others, and would provide a lot of potential for black humour. Why not make them appear to a dumb muscle, using simple, straight-forward, unsubtle tactics against the heroes as a distraction while their real plans come to fruition? Better yet, maybe they're relying on these kinds of tactics because they actually work against the untrained (and currently insignificant) heroes.
As a side note, if your character has a rival/the antagonist has a right-hand-man, they could appear more, and even have their own arc, since that means that they could serve as a foil to the antagonist; they experience character development while the antagonist remains static.
I'd go onto more, but I wanna focus on other things, such as story. You can check out more about villains at the villains wiki. http://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
Now, pacing—this one's a doozy.
"How many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z!"
Yeah, I know, old joke, but that basically sums up what you wanna avoid here.
Arcs are good. They keep a series moving at a good pace, give it a greater sense of purpose, unity, and forethought, and generally help keep up interest in the story as a whole.
Unless they go on and on. And on. And on. For months, if not years.
Suddenly, the arcs stop keeping up interest and instead lead to outcry for a conclusion already! Eventually, the pace of a story may become so monotonously slow and/or repetitious that the reader-base at large basically give up on following the series directly.
Pacing is probably a bigger problem than the plot, really. You can have an amazing plot, but if it goes on for months people will stop caring—and take it from me, you probably will, too.
Here's how to avoid this.
Make your arcs relatively short, but not so short that nothing happens in them. A good limit to this would be six-ten chapters per arc, but do add a little thread to each chapter as to draw readers to the next one—make sure that each chapter is plot-relevant, or even use it to develop characters—but do NOT just write filler (a chapter which isn't plot-relevant or it's completely out of context), make it meaningful.
Another problem here is with fights. Don't drag them on—make them epic, but they should last one-two chapters, with a couple of exceptions, such as the big bosses –hero vs. rival for example. Don't just extend a fight because you have nothing else to do—put the story on hold and THINK for a bit.
If you're having problems, take a break (obviously)—but here's another bit of advice. I normally take months of hiatus in order to come up with new ideas; but that's not all. While on break, I continue to write chapters, so when I come back, I can post while also having breathing room. While a schedule (once a week/once a month) is good and all (if you take really long breaks between posting chapters, you'll stop being interested), trying to write up a long chapter in a week/month with other stuff on can be stressful, so if you can't handle it, extend it to two months, but that should be the maximum of time between chapters.
Dem Genres DoeEdit
Now, genre; A genre is a particular type of literature, painting, music, film, or other art form which people consider as a class because it has special characteristics. (Though, of course, genres are not necessarily mutually exclusive, and many series do straddle multiple genres).
Shōnen is manga and anime aimed primarily at pre-teen and teenage boys; it tends to be focused more on "action" than relationships, with romance generally either perfunctory or played for "laughs". Fighting or combat — even if it is sublimated into a form such as a sports competition or even a Tabletop Game — is a common element. The title character, and most of the cast, is predominantly male. Note that while Shōnen tends to include a few standard genres, it literally refers to the target demographic (and in Japan, generally refers strictly to manga, rather than anime).
I'm going to be blunt.
Shōnen is kinda crap, at least for me.
Most of it is the same thing over and over—with a few exceptions (Fullmetal Alchemist, Negima, Pandora Hearts, Attack on Titan). The same generic hot-blooded idiot hero, the same females who can't fight for shit, the same 'let's throw beams and teleport' "fights", mostly boring characters, fights dragged on, ass-pulls, etc.
Yes, Fairy Tail is shōnen, but you do NOT have to write a strictly shōnen story.
All you need to do is take the basics of the canon (magic, setting, etc) and write up something far more interesting—such as romance, comedy, thriller, mystery—it's all allowed here.
I would advise you to stay away from any shōnen clichés as much as possible—most of the time, its utterly predictable and downright boring. Spice it up a little, deconstruct some clichés, really, as long as you have fun without going too insane, it's all good.
I'm not saying that Hiro is a bad writer (I tend to keep my opinions to myself), but Fairy Tail is pretty much one big cliché (mileage may vary on if it's enjoyable or not). That's why WE spice it up a bit by taking the standard formula and playing around with it.
I shouldn't have to give advice on how to write a plot—it's basic knowledge, really. Just don't devolve into the 'tournament + training + war' arcs that most shōnen these days have.
Anyway, I hope this helped you, if you want more advice, just ask me, y'know?
Lol I thought there was a rule against admins not liking the series :P (jokin') definitely, FT falls victim to every single shonen story imaginable; which makes it easy to predict, and well, it's pretty darn boring. Editorial or publisher meddling decisions, bland 90's-anime character designs, REPEATED character designs, other designs that make no sense, mainly shallow personalities, a magic universe that mixes historical elements with modern sensibilities, the hammered-in theme of friendship and becoming stronger, every battle involving Team Natsu or Fairy Tail in particular being anticlimatic, nearly no character development aside from Erza and Laxus (and when there is development you can see it coming and how it'll affect them), and just obvious foreshadowing.
Yo Zico, when you get the time, can you come on chatango please? I'd like to discuss something with you in private. I'll message you when you log on, but give me notification here beforehand~ The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 07:40, February 27, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry I wasn't on chatango. I was sick for the past few days- anyway, let's try and time it, eh? If that doesn't work, we'll leave messages back and forth :P Also, I like the policy, it should be a lot easier to get work done :) The Tenth Doctor(Brilliant!)(Still more~) 07:54, March 2, 2014 (UTC)
Are Unison Raids okay? Sorry if this looks weird, I'm using a different computer, which I'm not used to.
